Join me start my week with a peaceful 20 km road bike loop through the quiet borderlands of Germany and the Netherlands—where sea, sky, and silence meet.
We begin in Bunde (Germany), heading north toward the Dollard coast and the remote sea lock at Nieuwe Statenzijl (Netherlands). After a brief stop by the iconic birdwatching hut, we roll south toward Bad Nieuweschans, before looping back across the border and into East Frisia, finishing in Bunde.
Flat roads, empty landscapes, light headwind – and not a single hill in sight.
