Roker Beach, located in Sunderland, is a popular sandy beach known for its wide, clean shore and its iconic pier and lighthouse. It’s part of Sunderland’s seafront, along with Seaburn
[Music] you said someone should only hold what fits their hand What fills their clothes till we end up running all [Music] night Put the clock It’s cold again Um today we are going to head down to rock of the day Going to go down via the east rating line Um down to Elbert Park Bic Woods Cox Green That’s a place not a statement and and uh down to Rocka via the stadium at light And hopefully we’ll get a nice coffee at uh Emma’s coffee pod down the bottom end of Rocka So let’s get to work [Music] But now the band is going home The horns don’t blow and the drums don’t roll But we land up loving on that day You said the sweetest sweetest words You said the sweetest sweetest word Young enough to take the next string Long enough to take it home [Music] being left for nothing else He’s nothing left to do all except the sweetest sweetest words Except the sweetest sweetest words [Music] Is it sweet sweet [Music] Yes Sweet Right So made it to Elbert Park Behind me you can see some artwork called Goladers by Craig Nolles like a lot of um currently parks around here that actually recame reclaimed pit sites old cories that’s being rec reclaimed and turn into like nature reserves and stuff like that Um head lines country parks exactly the same Elma that’s now a country park was a golf course um and they’re great places to visit so and they’re free So if you fancy a walk get yourself down [Music] I [Music] wonder where you are tonight That glint in your eye and that warm crooked smile you try to hide And I wonder am I on your mind i’m not going to lie I still picture your smile from time to time [Music] But sometimes in dreams I’m paralyzed with confusion fear and regret And sometimes I hear your voice at night So sometimes I drink to [Music] forget cheap pies at a lonely time [Music] We’re clicked with a rhyme Cons Virginia and wine to all the kind in one night I could have ruined your life [Music] But it’s all in the mind and emotions define what the line decides But sometimes in dreams I’m paralyzed with [Music] confusion fear and regret three miles to go now um till we get down to Rocka I just like to stop and have a look at that uh ship over there The ship was called the Creehouser I think I pronounced that right It was made out of concrete It was built in 1919 and worked till 1933 pulling barges from Spain believe it or not And it was left there It’s been sitting there ever since So little bit of local history there Nothing at [Music] all and I’m [Music] mine and I need to That’s all I am Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat I wonder where you are tonight [Music] [Music] Water Water everywhere and not a moment to sink Lights lights gone away and cold too cold to think Dark dark across the room I heard you cry my friend Come close and don’t let go till daylight comes again Well that was our rides out in Roa Um the coffee stop didn’t go to plan and the card machine wasn’t working Um we went along the end got a coffee nevertheless kind of ride down It’s just good to get out So uh if you’re liking the videos like and subscribe See you on the next one I think I can tell this time [Music]

Nice seeing familiar places from a different viewpoint 👍🏻
It's probably my favourite rides into Sunderland. Lookward to the footbridge been finished as the cycle route has been closed off because of the building works, and I'll be able to ride the length of Wear down to the seafront
