The first photo is the current state of this old BH road bike I got for free, I just needed a project for this summer and a daily ride for when I love away for college next year to get around the city and I figured a free bike is the best bike I could get.
So yeah this far… Removed the rust from the frame, clear coated it fairly roughly with a spray can… just enough to prevent future rust, restored and cleaned the rim brake calipers, relubed the BB and all other bearings, cleaned and adjusted the derraileurs and trued the wheels. It still has some work left to be done, but once I get the new chain, cable kit, tyres, brake pads and bar tape in the mail I'm fairly confident I'll be able to finish it up quickly.
Also any help Identifying what particular model of BH it is would be appreciated, I still have no clue what it is, I just know it's a road bike, and that it must've been made in the late 70's early 80's, I'd be willing to bet 1979 since I've seen '79 inscriptions in some components though.
Thanks!
