Great news for cyclists and pedestrians alike. The new Oxford Street East separated cycleway has now just been officially open. That means that you can get pretty much all the way from the inner west through the city and all the way up to Taylor Square on completely separated cycleways. Now, the problem is that if you want to go to the beach, you want to head on over to Bondai Junction and join that gorgeous Centennial Park pathway, you can’t quite yet. And that’s why we really need to get on with Oxford Street East. That’s the connection between Taylor Square all the way up to Centennial Park. It’s the bit of Oxford Street that gets a little bit sketchy. So, there has been a commitment by the state government to get going on this and we just need them to really just start as soon as possible. So, loving the new Cycleway.
