My wife and I are volunteering for the London-Edinburgh-London ride, and I rode some of the route between Edinburgh and Louth this week. I could have used lower gearing in the hills, but the folding pedal made it easier to walk up those that were too steep for me. The weather was perfect – I hope the LEL riders are as fortunate as I was in that regard.
