Last week I went on a 4 day cycle tour of Normandy in northern France. The trip was really fun, going via D Day beaches (Utah & Omaha), Bayeux & Caen.
My intention was to primarily follow the east coast of the Contentin peninsula, which also followed the route of Eurovelo 4 for a lot of the way. The roads were quiet, the scenery was great and with a hill here and there.
I've done "credit card tours" in the past staying in hostels but this was my first time camping by bike. I got my tent specifically for it's short poles.
I really enjoyed the trip, and am hoping to do a longer tour in the future.
