Very calm day in Birmingham, cycling to get some cash from the ATM, and then groceries from Lidl. We pass through Kings Heath, Mosely, and Warstock Road.
Where do you want me to go next?

And it’s another beautiful evening. The time is currently 7:28 p.m. And we’re out right now and I’m on my way to get some cash from Monogram. And after that, I’ll head to little to get some groceries. Just fruits and maybe vegetables. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] The weather has returned to being more chill than warm or close to hot. The reason I say close to hot is because hot weather here in the UK. It’s probably for like 2 weeks and we’re back to being cold. It’s why I don’t get when um you see people over here complain that it’s hot cuz it’s just hot for for 2 weeks and then we see terms like heatwave. But I love the hot weather. I always appreciate and use it whenever it’s here because I know it won’t last. So you won’t find me among the the people complaining about UK being hot um at certain times in June or July cuz it doesn’t last. the hotness doesn’t last and soon enough we’ll be back to being cold. Right now it’s about 20° C. It’s still okay because I can wear a t-shirt out on the road and cycle even with the wind. But I’m also being reminded. So this is mid July and every day now is a constant reminder that we are approaching autumn and then winter. So best to enjoy the summer while it lasts. And it’s best to use it, you know, to cycle very frequently because I also cycle I cycle in all weathers, summer, autumn, winter, spring. But it’s more fun to cycle during summer cuz when it’s winter, I’ll be all covered up in my um winter jackets with gloves on my hands and it’s good to cycle there because it’s exercise and your heart will start pumping, but it’s just less fun. It’s not as fun as cycling during summer. [Music] This area is a bit um the road here is a bit clearer or a bit clearer today. Clearer than usual. And we’ve almost arrived at our destination. [Music] Have to make sure I don’t pass it. So, let’s get on the pavement here. [Music] And we’re here. I just make a little withdrawal and then back on the boat. We have an uphill here, but after that comes the downhill. [Music] Sometimes I wish Birmingham was just flat. Instead, we’re met with [Music] a mix of uphills and downhills. [Music] This is King’s Heath. [Music] We’re just coming from Mosley [Music] and we’ll be going to get groceries at Warstock Warstock Road and all these things can be gotten from around where I live or even around here. Same with the cash withdrawal and the grocery. There’s little just by my right in front, but I’m intentionally doing the distance so I can cycle and exercise for today [Music] because it’s fun. Another [Applause] [Music] reason it’s really fun, really great cycling in summer is because we have longer days. So if this were winter, everywhere would be dark by now and it wouldn’t be so easy to cycle then. But during this period of spring, summer to part of autumn or we have longer days, it’s good because you can close from work by 6, 7, or even 8 if you wish, depending on what you do, and still come out and cycle. And you’ll see that the roads is still filled with people and lively. But during winter 4:00 p.m. sometimes 3:30 4 and everywhere is dark already. With that it’ll be difficult to come out and when I say dark I don’t mean evening dark. I mean dark like night. And I don’t like it cuz it’s not good for productivity when everywhere goes black when everywhere goes dark at 400 p.m. But when you have longer days, you can walk, exercise for more hours and you know, you feel like you have more time. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Music] We have some road work going on here. Fall back. Stand up. Still here. Hands up. All that bad luck. Left it backed up. No more hand outs. No more backed up. No more left out. Now I’m racked up. Fall back. Stand up. Still here. Hands up. All that bad luck. Left it backed up. No more hand outs. No more backed up. No more left out. Now I’m backed up. Took the long route. Pressure. Never. There’s a Tesco by my left now which we just passed. One could also buy groceries there, but I find their things to be a lot more expensive than other shops here. Other shops like Little for example, Audi. Tesco is usually more expensive, but when I have to, I can buy from them. But if I have the choice, I just go to the others. [Music] There’s a left bend which we’re approach approaching now. [Music] And we just passed a fitness center by the left. [Music] which is nice to check out if you’re around here. They have some good stuff, including um the pool for swimming. [Music] And I’ve seen their plans and it’s it’s all right. [Music] So this is um Warstock Road and we are approaching Leu right now. [Music] I got this bag which I plan to use to put stuff and I just got it. So, let’s see what um and how much it it can fit. We are in right now. I think it’s this door. This is basically what it looks like in here. So, we’ll be going to the fruit section and then the vegetables. [Music] I think I hope the bag stays stay strong and doesn’t um tear off or fall off on the boat. [Music] Taking my left here [Music] and the reason I bought fruit especially of the quantity that filled up that bag and still remains a bit or a little It’s because I want to juice them. I have a juicer at home and I’ll be using that to make fresh juice out of the out of the fruits. I’ll keep some for eating and then yeah, I’ll still have the pulp for some juices that where where it makes sense. for example, orange juice. It would make sense to add the pulp there. So, so that we don’t waste um important parts of of the fruit. But this was a short video, just a quick trip to get groceries and then we stopped to withdraw some cash cuz it’s good to have cash at hand. You never know when payment systems can shut down and or electricity goes out like what happened in Spain a few months ago. So, it’s just good to have cash at hand. But that was it. This was a short video. Thank you for watching and please don’t forget to hit the like and subscribe button. [Music] and let me know what type of video you want to see next or even if there’s a place you want me to check out. Um, just let me know. But hit the subscribe button, like, share, and see you in the next one.
