In this episode, I ride along the STUNNING German backroads, passing countless vineyards. After the gorgious green roads I eventually end up in Pirmasens. It’s a hectic city and as you all know not my favourite kind of riding… Who knows where we end up next!

I’m always very happy to see the bike is still here. We’re slowly making our way towards the Black Forest. [Music] Oo, the engine is running hot. [Music] Hi. Good to Morgan. Okay. Good morning, everyone. It is right now around 8:00 a.m. I’m going to get the bike ready for today’s adventure. I’m always very happy to see that the bike is still here. That’s like my number one concern if I’m traveling. I don’t care where I sleep. I want my bike to be safe, of course. So, yeah, let’s get the luggage on and we’ll go [Music] Okay, this is secure. This is secure. Yep. Other side. Okay. Nice. We’re ready to go. We’ve got a ride to Kohham today. if we enter Kohham. We’ll see how far we’re going after that. But for now, I’m going to have a pretty long route, but it’s going to be a beautiful area. So, let’s get going. Are we ready? I’m so excited for today. I always have to warm up a little when I’m on the bike. First time, first thing morning. Oh, we’re going through the center. Beautiful little place. Typical German houses. These are the typical German inland roads. Just fields and then two-lane roads just like um farmer’s land. Oh, small little corner. The road just became like more narrow. Okay. just commute every day with these roads would be amazing. Oh, beautiful. The pavement is so good as well. Like there are just no holes. Like this is perfect concrete or asphalt. I don’t know. Asphalts. This bike is best on the roads you just saw. like the the little twisty roads and sometimes it’s nice to take a little bit of a faster way because you know sometimes you just want to get somewhere and then take the routes through nature. But you know what I am happy with that even though this bike uh is reduced because of my age. I’m 22 and I have a special rule on my license that says that I need to drive a reduced bike for two years and then they will get rid of the reduction. So in a year I have to go back to the dealership and then ask them to give me the full power of my bike please. Next year I have to replace my license again. [Music] [Music] Let’s get some gas cuz she thirsty. All right. I think it’s also a good time to take a little break. Every last drop I had lunch. The bike is all filled up. So, now we’re going to continue on. The sun is still sadly not seen, but we’re going to have a lot more days in front of us. But I’m already proud that we made it this far. So, let’s go. Let’s see where the exit is. I’m not quite sure. Let’s follow these cars. I had to go uh off the highway tiny bits. Ah, there it is. Okay. Tir, which I think we’re passing soon. So, Let’s make some speed. It’s a very short entrance to the highway here. Very short. Here we go. These are the roads I like again. Oh, my screen is really gross. I should clean that. Not now. Not now. Why are the roads so good? Have I just not seen bad German roads yet? Or am I like used to bad roads and this is like exceptional or something? Cuz this looks like just really fresh road everywhere. I don’t know. I’m not complaining. It’s uh 15 and a half degrees, which is usually not that bad, but again, the sun isn’t out, so it’s a little bit chilly now. Wow, I can see so far. It’s like blue in the distance. That’s how far it is. I just put the bike next to the road because we just entered Kohham and we have to pick our next location. And I really like this road. So maybe I’ll just follow this road. Let’s see. This is the L 98. It is a beautiful road, not going to lie. I decided to go to Traba Traba, which is a place uh that I visited with my family a lot of times. I turned off all the highway options on my map. We’re going to take only the small little roads. So, it’s going to take me an hour, but that’s okay because I’m here to enjoy this drive and I don’t come here that often. So, I’m going to take my time because it’s my time. I’m going to spend it how I want to spend it with you guys, of course. Let’s check any cars. Nope. And we’re off. Go home is also beautiful, by the way. It’s a very old city as you can see. It’s so cute. It’s so beautiful the architecture in Germany, the castles and the bridges. And I mean, look at this. There’s a massive castle right there. Do you see it? Beautiful. All of the castles. I I don’t want to count how many castles I’ve seen already. There’s just too many castles to count. Oh, wow. It is really That’s a really big castle. See it? That’s beautiful. Wow. I have to get a picture for my dad. I have to get a picture. I can’t stop anywhere. Oh, it’s so cool. Okay. Well, it’s on video. Just watch the video back then. And this is all grapes for wine. This is a very famous wine region. [Music] We’re going Up up up up. I had to like downshift cuz it’s it’s quite steep now. Quite steep. And now we are back on the very familiar German back roads. It doesn’t get old. I love pine trees. Speaking of pine trees, there’s a bunch of them. All baby ones. But I love the smell of pine needles so much. So like the French forests are really nice. The German forests as well. There’s a sharp turn here. Yeah, it goes up up up. Woo. We’re leaning. That’s like not going to be seen on camera, but we were leaning quite a bit. And we’re climbing quite a bit as well. The entire road has been like upwards. Oh, you can see it. Beautiful. Okay, I got to focus a little bit. This is a road where you’re allowed to go 100. This is a herapin, by the way. Woo! Oh my gosh, that was a little scary. But we’re okay. Oh, traffic. Well, there goes my speed. Look at those rocks. They’re like um almost red. Very pretty. I bet there’s a ton of caves here, too. There must be, right? So, I’m taking a little break right now. And behind me is actually a very big field with a lot of campers on him. I’ve just searched the map and Traent Traa has like 9 minutes out. That’s too soon to stop. So I want to continue a little further and then we’re slowly making our way towards the Black Forest. That’s also going to be really pretty. We’ll see where we end up today. Okay, we’re on our way again. Oh, it’s 22 and a half degrees. It’s been climbing like crazy. Maybe because we’re like in a deep point between two high mountains. Ooh, the water there. Look. I would have expected some cows. I’m passing through like all these tiny little villages. They have like fountains and then a church and then some bars, some hotels, and they’re just little places. I think I’ve passed like eight or nine of these towns. The wind has started to pick up way more. It’s also cooling down a little bit. So maybe that has a a correlation. But these are like tiny tiny villages. And then you know when you leave the village it’s like this. You have these roads again. And then the next village is over there. It’s very nicely like spaced out. Everyone has their own little place. And then of course these beautiful roads connecting them. Woo. This is downhill. Like a lot downhill. Whoa. Woo. We have a very uphilly corner here. Nice. That’s so nice about having a map in front of me. I can like see the way the corners is going to go, you know? I don’t have to predict anything. I just have to do it. Look, another tiny town. The one we just saw. Yesterday I banged my knee, my left knee so hard against like the bedside table that there is now a massive bruise and it’s pressing against my knee protection. So, it’s a little more uncomfortable now, but it’s okay. We are driving into Pyramisense Pirisense right now, which is um a little bit of a bigger city. I think I’m going to find a little place to stay tonight somewhere around here cuz I’ve had it for today. I’m done driving. I mean, we were up like I was up at 6 this morning and then I started driving at 8 and it is now late in the afternoon. So, I’m just going to find a place to stay for the night. Look at how busy it is. Okay. So, we have a hotel. It’s small hotel, but it looked really nice. Um, and it’s not that far from here. It looked good. City driving is uh not my favorite. I think I’ve said it before. It’s so chaotic. It is hot. It’s 22 and 1/2°. Woo! The engine is running hot. It’s 1 minute away. We can do this. 1 minute of of city driving. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] I am in the middle of the city in the middle of Perma Sense. So I laid out the whole map. It’s just enough space. And let’s see. We went a little bit up in the Eiffel first and then we went to Kohham and here we followed the river for a while and then we went downwards and we followed this road until Primisense. That was already it for today. I hope you enjoyed this video. If you did, you can always leave a like and subscribe so you don’t miss out any of my other videos. I will see you tomorrow. Bye everyone.

  4. I would love to take my 636 across the pond and ride through the European countryside. Something tells me that the roads are more serpentine than here in the US
