Tadej Pogačar wins the 2025 Tour de France

Yeah, in the end uh I find myself in the front even though I uh I really didn’t have the energy to to motivate myself to race today. But uh in the end um in the end I was uh really happy they neutralized the the times of the GC and um then it was more relaxed to race and you just had to have good legs to be in front and and I find myself in the front tried to race and uh but yeah, head off to W. He he was incredibly strong and yeah it was a really nice race in the end today and you win the tour to France for the fourth time. Uh another amazing moment for you in Paris. Yeah, just um speechless to to win the four tour to France. Uh yeah, six years in a row on a podium and yeah uh this one feels especially amazing and um I’m super proud that uh I can uh wear this yellow jersey. How and where did you win the to this year? I don’t know. This is tough tough tough question. Uh but I think uh it all started uh with how we start to ride with the team. Uh we had a great great uh atmosphere, great team, great spirit. We went fighting from the day one and uh then uh yeah uh after stage uh stage five and matan I knew that I I have a good legs to to compete for the victory and then uh we just uh keep on fighting and then the last week I mean the second week I think was the decisive moment uh where uh we still I mean where we take the more advantage and we go more comfortably into the third week and uh yeah to have a great winner you need a great runner up and what What a battle it was with Yona Sevigard and that’s uh that’s important as well. Yeah, we we just talked in the uh not in the morning well in the afternoon after we started uh the race. I must say that uh battling against Yonas was again uh a tough experience but uh yeah I must must say to him respect and uh big big uh um yeah congratulations for his his fight and yeah um incredible race. And now you want to celebrate. You want to take holidays because it was mentally as well very tough. Yeah. Know um now it’s time to celebrate. Uh everybody thinks different how how they want to celebrate. I want to to celebrate with a with a piece this this week and uh uh have a nice weather not like uh not like here now and uh yeah just to enjoy some uh quiet days at Mhm.
