[Music] hello good morning we’re out and about again we are at uh camping alert Riviera um which which is sort of southest France but nowhere near the coast and sort of in the middle yeah pretty much we’ll we’ll put down where we are yeah um yeah so yeah that campsites um campsite is okay yeah it’s uh it’s quite basic but it’s got a lovely little po I’ll show you the pool got a nice little pool there’s a a river close by with sandy beach which looks very nice uh there’s another campsite there which is also nice got shop and all sorts of bits and bubs down there this campsite has got a restaurant which is only open for 4 days a week or something like that yeah because it’s not high yeah High season sir it’s like the pool we can use it anytime we want but there’s no lifeguard um um but in High season it’s only open certain times of the Lifeguard because they’re children but there’s no children at the moment no they’re all they’re all not here thank God yeah but it is very warm here as you can see I dressed up as bricks aboard with yeah hats and I haven’t got my socks on though soon no no starts look yeah so this is the the river this is the river but further on is a much sandier Beach to go down to straight from my cite yeah we’re going to go for a walk today down the local shops which say local it’s not really local it’s paring yeah about 3 miles yeah 3 mil we got one bridge to come on to this is it traffic light controlled yeah all that yeah pretty good we will uh invest in the gate as we go the river is quite pink but there was shallow fix yeah we did see a lady in it yesterday and uh she soon came out it’s uh it was a bit cold it was cold but you are allowed to swim in it yeah why you L not for me though I no it’s it’s quite um f yeah it looks as though there’s a bit of a current there yeah yeah pretty happy with is you can also go canoeing you can bu a canoe some reception area I don’t think we’re much s the pool or maybe a Cav but it’s pretty um it’s uh B Cloud about now it’s CL up a little bit but anyway so what we’ll do we’ll switch you back on again when we get closer to to the Village or if we see anything uh on the way as you see that’s where we are Sam’s on and there is all that there so gives you a bit more of an idea uh yeah going around the circles [Music] [Applause] right we’re in the little little village we lost already we just sort of wandering around hoping to find a cafe or something yeah yeah yeah a lot of fig trees about is there [Music] yes cat this way must be we have no idea he’s very uh very French isn’t he yeah he did say the village this way but uh who knows it’s going somewhere everywhere going somewhere aome this has just end it smells very oldy does fusty yes oh this is going to be the Village Center it is yeah Market yeah oh this is definitely the center is it Church oh look play H you try picking one of them up [Music] yeah at least we can get something to eat if you’re going to have bars on the window have decorative bars yes that’s very true yeah so you said if you going have bars have SM bars behind is interesed you very skinny yeah we want a bakery don’t we a bo boo what is iter Boer P yeah don’t like that anyway yeah to buy produce we can take back yes uh in The Butchers probably not push little bit we struggle to find the butches in the big yeah there’s lots of oh little shoppies look oh this looks very nice oh that looks a bit more like it yeah so you got bits and Bobs all all over the place yeah so we’ll go down here y oh this is very [Music] nice not all [Music] V face a that Susie bought a Maserati Maserati what she has but to be honest it’s it’s it’s a Maserati watch it’s a Maserati watch but it’s a posh one it’s very nice yeah very nice this is very nice yes well to sit stop yeah we’ll just we’ll just go and find a cafe I think Papa then we can uh in the pharmacy look M and we can uh have something decent to eat and then uh we won’t need too much at night there’s a pizza there [Music] look we got uh all wines here look [Music] it’s all very very nice is it even a new hat look [Music] yeah that’s been a good walk has it yeah we’re back at the campsite well near the campsite now 18 was yeah I was yeah hours walk there and back I was there I was walk there and then hours walk back nice little Town Village is it yeah yeah the only thing you got to watch is that on the road the uh French treat is at a rally course don’t they they whz along quite quick we’ve got to uh have your ears open make sure you don’t get run over it’s not like in the UK where they got to give you so many feet just in case here they’ll uh rub the wing mirar up your elbow to get you out of the way this is where we are zamon zamson whatever we’re going to have a walk that way tomorrow depending if our feet are up to [Music] [Music] it I’m ready for a drink Susie yeah [Music] yeah swimming pool not many people in there today it’s my little cold I think it’s heated is it I think so anyway here we [Applause] [Music] go so yeah this is where we’re at restaurant we’ve not really worked out whether they change the menu or whether it’s the same menu all the time but you’ve got an inside and an outside bit and a bar when it’s open Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday that says Friday Saturday well it’s Thursday as well no I think the other one’s Thursday yeah Burgers pizzas uh whatever that is things yeah anyway oh yeah chicken nuggets and stuff that’s for kids yeah Les fish or Le fish there’s the bar see I can’t really want fishes fishy fishies fishies that’s a reception L is very nice she says her English isn’t very good but it’s not that bad is it no it’s better than our French hey no no can’t get that go out [Applause] yeah so these are some of the pitures they’re not the most salubrious of pitches but I think they’re doing a lot of work it’s very ow stone stone it’s very early in the season yeah [Applause] Dave taken a stone out of his ship again look call them passengers cuz they just hit Shar my feet killing me yeah they’re not the most cous of pitches uh you do need the European plugs they’re not the the blue jobes like we have in the UK uh it’s all very tight in it everywhere yes but it’s lots of places to rent cab it’s the fact that it’s how much it €24 for five nights for seven nights seven nights which is 26 something something like that it worked out about 19 20 quid a night so that ain’t bad you know it’s not like got to pick another Stone now the other shoe oh this is ridiculous Brits abroad we literally around the corner from theot room lot blisters everywhere yeah so there’s a lot of these shallies um toilets up there and showers and there a dog wash laundry yeah not it’s not massive it’s not cheap I think the wash was about5 it is yeah so this is where we are uh the reason yeah you can choose your own place the reason we came here is that we’ve got a long enough hose to go from the water around the back where that car is all the way to the motor home and [Applause] uh nice big pitch yeah yeah it’s a big pitch I say they’re still working on everywhere around here The Chopping bushes down what so I think by the time we get round to when it gets really busy I think it’d be fine yeah it’s only July in August it gets really busy here come around that way deck moment de moment anyway that’s it we’re
