Hi choosing between giant talon 1 29 hematite 2022 and trek marlin 8 gen 2 as my first bike since childhood. Will be buying used from marketplace. Giant talon costs $800aud while trek marlin 8 gen 2 at $850. Both in good condition. Mostly gonna do parks with family and friends and hoping to do trails in the future as well.
