[Applause] [Music] Rex AFC’s long- awaited pitch stitching starts tomorrow. The machines arrived on Saturday after working on Chelsea FC’s hybrid pitch. Let’s see how far we’ve come before talking about what to expect. [Music] Ow. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] This isn’t your average football pitch. It’s cisgrass, a hybrid surface where nature meets innovation. Beneath the blades of real grass are thousands of synthetic fibers stitched directly into the turf. These fibers anchor the roots, creating a surface that’s tougher, more stable, and ready for relentless action. Whether it’s football, rugby, or backto-back training sessions. But it goes deeper. Their advanced subsurface system controls moisture, improves ventilation, and fine-tunes the temperature beneath the pitch. It’s like climate control for grass, keeping it healthy, strong, and ready for anything. The result, more playing hours, quicker recovery, and fewer injuries. And it’s fully customizable, tailored for different sports and weather. Cygrass isn’t just a pitch. It’s engineering beneath your boots, a high-tech foundation for the modern game. Rexom’s new hybrid pitch is more than a surface upgrade. It’s a strategic investment, sealing in performance, reliability, and compliance with elite football standards. Once complete, the mashup of cisgrass hybrid fibers and unders soil heating will deliver a worldclass pitch that’s as tough as the Red Dragon’s ambition. Our first home game will be against Hull City in the EFL Cup on the 12th of August with our first game in the championship against West Bromage Albian taking place 4 days later on the 16th. I don’t know if there will be any visible changes from the air when they stitch the pitch, but the process should be really interesting to watch. I think they have at least two machines here, maybe even three. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Thanks for watching. Please like, subscribe, and put notifications on as we have a big year ahead with the construction of the Rexom AFC cop stand. Have a great day. [Music]

  1. 🤔 Okay is it wrong that I am sitting here in Canada, looking forward to seeing what running a giant sewing machine over a field of grass looks like. Okay it is really nice grass, on a professional foot ball pitch in Wales. Still feels a little wrong. 🤣

  2. Thanks Tom! Needless to say- the lads must be so anxious (this word also means anticipation, so looking forward to it in North America) now at this point to try out the pitch. 😊

  3. Thanks Tom!

I'm excited for tomorrow. I don't know what we'll actually be able to see, but it will represent progress regardless. The end result is what we want anyway.

There's still a lot to complete in less than a month. The clock is definitely ticking now. I can't wait for tomorrow's video.

    Have a good day 😊

  4. It's a goal to go see a home game in Wrexham and go vacation for a week in Wales/UK. Love the updates of the pitch and stands. It's amazing what the club has done in such short time. Greeting from the Great Lakes Mitten in the US! Go Reds!

  5. Thanks for pointing out where the Media center is.✅ I’ve enjoyed watching the entire process. 🇨🇦⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Do you remember seeing them remove one loop of the heating pipes as there was one less place to connect at an end?
