Reporting on a short experience (about 10 miles) using the cycle.travel app on my iPhone SE. I downloaded the pieces of the maps needed, created a route and downloaded it. Put the phone in airplane mode and the app worked great, it gave me turn-by-turn directions and let me know when I was off route. I really liked the noise it made when you got close to your turn.
