Oh my god. Here I am after a very short night of sleep. Two flights of uh 2 hours uh each London Oslo Oslo Trump. So, here I am. Uh, finally arrived and out for a little walk in the first one. And, uh, welcome to Scandinavia. Welcome to the Pors. Welcome to Toronto. A little bit of shy sunshine as well up in the sky for me as well as uh, glass. How many in there? Uh there we go. This is uh day one. H finally we start to pedaling seriously leaving Toronto early morning. I had a beautiful night of sleep. Although obviously the sky was always uh white covering clouds but bright obviously at this time of the year. Uh come off to a place I can’t remember the name. I need to ferry and then a few more kilometers and I will get to the destination but uh and nothing short and impressive and incredible and mountains with snow. fuel the island. Uh I had my first encounter with a bunch of deers on the road. Uh everything everything is looking wonderful. Heat. Heat. again. So I arrived at destination. I did 136 kilometers. Here is Gerfield. The weather was pretty good except a little bit of rain now, but on the bike was okay. Got a little bit cooler if nonetheless was a great day to be honest. I enjoy the fs enjoying always so far. And that’s what I see from the restaurant. I was lucky enough to ask if the kitchen was about to close just one 5 minutes before closure. So, my meal is on the way. Time to eat. That’s the beginning of day two. After a short hike all the way up this mountain, I’m back on the ferry. This time it’s directionally finally the weather forecast. Unfortunately, it’s a rain and rain all day. I’ve got 100 km under uh a place called Sla. Um we’ll see. We’ll see how I do. Uh the very long, so there’s lots of options, but let’s see. We go. There we go. punctual like a clock. The rain has arrived as forecasted. Um I’m just getting ready for it. I thought I was going to stop eventually, but I think uh the temperature is not too too bad. So my goal, let’s do it. There we go. Uh, breakfast in the petrol station. 8 to 8:37. and I’m ready to go today. Uh the weather is cloudy as ever. There is no rain forecast which is reassuring. I’ve got quite a few few kilometers to go through like 18060 off to a lakeside coastal tonight. So hopefully the ride will be a little bit easier. There is a little bit of wind still. It should ease as the the day go along but uh you always you always talk about at the end. Have a good day. Arctic side is with me. Long tunnel. Thank god it’s going downhill. So at least it did it. I’ve just exited this tunnel which was 6.4 km long. My gosh, it was endless. Thankfully, not many cars or trucks as it happened, but and it was slightly downhill, so I held my speed going, but it was a long run. And this is the loot at their best with a sun out in a magic place where nature meets plant. And yet again a challenging day. I ended up with nearly 180 km accordingly to a the tour to Aza and which is the place where is the the famous here is nice and quiet. I’m staying in Austral and it’s a beautiful lake with mountains around me. H the wind was strong. Not as strong as yesterday, but it was still quite strong and the rain kept on coming and going. At some point, the sun came out as well to to change the day a little bit. But yeah, it was challenging, long, but beautiful, enjoyable, very well enjoyable. There we go. Today’s Thursday. I just leave the Furu Waster which was very cool. Nice chill vibe by the lake. Wonderful place. I would strongly recommend it. Today I’ll go 84 km to Bosses and then I will catch the 245 ferry across to Bordo. So the weather looks nice now. We’ll see what happens the rest of the day. There’s a short It was only 80 km still got drenched in pouring rain really bad actually and the rain stopped the sun came out the clouds came back the clouds went sun gone back here I am I’m already on the ferry so this is goodbye to the hospital and I’m off motor in 4 hours so change this time so nice and try to try the ride so yeah well it’s uh 10:30 :30 in the evening in uh in Bordo and that’s the view from Taho Mountain and you’re spoiled with the number of islands and uh a little rocks next to endless. So I have my coffee and I’m ready to go. Today is 120 km to place called Honest. Uh it’s going to be already right. The weather’s forecast should be good today according to the paper. But uh let’s see. I will take it uh day by day, minute by minute actually over here. Let’s go. Oh. Whoa. Heat. Heat. Okay, it’s Saturday morning. Nothing is open. Try to go for a coffee. Nothing is open. There is no ferry as well to Lasalik which is just through that gap on the right hand side. So I will have to take the long route on the bike. And there is also a tunnel which I’m not supposed to cycle through which is long 6 and a half km but I’ve just been told it’s flat which is reassuring and also that there is no traffic on a Saturday morning. So that’s my uh long day on the bike today getting a bit longer. But on the positive note the weather looks good. So fingers crossed it stays like this and we’ll make it to destination. So from uh for I’m going to Axar Cadet I think something like that. There’s a short ferry crossing and then I’ve got another 20 kilometers for another hope for another ferry crossing just continue on the ear another ferry crossing for today. As I was approach as I was coming down the hill there I see the ferry open. So, I came down like a bullet and I just made it like on time like I was on the I just literally got on board and and we’re leaving. How amazing is that? So, that will bring me across from to a place I can’t pronounce obviously and go another 90 km today to go. But the weather is also like pleasant. It’s nice. So upwards and onwards. I’m going to do Wow. I finally finished what was an an epic day. 171 km with a detour. was was a lot with 2,100 meters of elevation gain which is quite a lot on a on a given day especially with the parking. So, the weather was formidable today. Like, it’s sunny all the way. Very nice. And that’s my my stay for tonight, which is in a super prime location. I’m just right by the beach overlooking the Here we go. Uh, last day today. Hey, yet another day starting with a ferry. It’s on here and it’s hopefully on time. Uh I had the most beautiful night last night waking up with the with the noise. So they wait and now it’s uh rock for about uh I think 70 km then another ferry then 20 on the ferry and then I will get to destination trip done. Getting close to Ja, the place I’m going to catch another ferry. Meanwhile, staring at the cows, gazing on the fuel, and the ships are chilling, too. After more than 100 kilometers, uh wind, rain, sun, anything that the trip throw at me. Here I am in Bruno, which is destination place. Uh beautiful, beautiful view. I check so much this place on the internet and finally here. But I’ve decided to remove the bags from the bike and go and check to the mountain with a hole which is down there. So off I’m going. It’s about uh 12 km to one way and then 12 more to come back. So let’s go. Beautiful view.
