Hey everyone, Sev Mato here!

Welcome to my channel! In this video, I’m taking you on a biking adventure across Seoul on my final day in the city. I hopped on a Ttareungi shared bike and cruised through Cheonggyecheon Stream, snapping photos of a heart-shaped fountain. Then, I pedaled toward Ttukseom Han River Park, passing through Seoul Forest, and explored the Ttukseom Outlook Cultural Complex. My ride wrapped up at Banpo and Jamsu Bridge—an epic loop through the heart of the city.

After the journey, it was time to return to my hotel and pack up, because the next chapter (and the next vlog!) takes place in Busan, where more adventures await.

🔹 Vlog Highlights:
✅ Heart fountain & boulder crossing at Cheonggyecheon Stream
✅ Ttukseom Outlook Cultural Complex
✅ Mihal Campground and Seobinggo Fishing Spot
✅ Wind-down at Nuba Belgian Pub (Hongdae)

Good morning or afternoon already. I’m at Cheonggyecheon now and I came here by bike this morning I rented a Ttareungi and I came here to see the part of Cheonggyecheon I didn’t got to see last time (that I was here) Which is this bridge and also these houses over there. They are part of the museum and what I’m thinking is maybe I’ll go to Ttukseom Park now by bike, look around there and head back to DDP and Naksan Park for the sunset, and then end at Myeongdong. (Apart from Ttukseom park, none of these things will happen) That’s gonna wrap up Seoul after that I’ll be packing my bags; and tomorrow I’ll be leaving for Busan and you’ll see me vlogging from Busan. That’s what’s planned today Look how big these fishes are. They are huge There was something down there as well, but I don’t
think you can see it… (Over by) that bridge over there. I might go there just in a minute, but…
Oh… I think there’s a fountain there. I might visit that first. All right, let’s go. There are birds chilling in the sun… It was quite a long way here. It did take me about 40 minutes to get here. It was an easy ride though. From Hongdae it’s line 2, and it’s the easiest place to be I found. Last time I was in Yongsan, and to get anywhere from there, you always had to transfer. But from Hongdae you can take line 2, the Green Line, and that line loops around the city. so, it can take you anywhere you like without much of a hassle. I think I’m going to take a photograph here. Although I purposely left my tripod at home because I wanted to be lightweight today. By lightweight, I mean just a small bag, and my camera and my bag. But yeah, for this I think I might need a tripod. I managed to snap this photograph free-handed, but it took me many
tries, and a long time to work out this scene. (S 1/5s / f8.0 / ISO100) I wish Belgium would do something like those boulder river crossings. That is so ingeniously and ecological. Then again, Belgian city planning is nothing compared to this. We don’t have any in Belgium. It’s not a design they would do. When it’s summer, it’s the rainy season here and this stream might get very high. You can see this yellow measurement… (*Crow interrupting…*) This yellow measurement against the pilar here, and all of this will be under water. Sometimes even above my head right now Downstream this stream goes to Seoul Forest and then eventually into the Han River. And upstream It will eventually lead to wherever the King’s statue is, the big square near City Hall. (Gwanghwamun Sqr) We were there last week, right at the start of Cheonggyecheon. And the whole stream used to be a highway. It was built on top of the stream but in the early 2000s they destroyed the highway and opened the stream up for the public. They designed it very well. I keep applauding the Seoul government and the designers; Because, every time they design something it’s always green and it goes well with the city. And all of the water transportation because of course
in summer when it’s raining season they get like a lot of rainfall to endure so
they need to get rid of it somehow. And Cheonggyecheon stream is one of those streams that collects all that water and dumps it into the Han River. Anyway I’m back at the stairs here and I’m going to
check if I can get to Ttukseom Park from here. I’m gonna go by bike again of course and I’m gonna take that path over there. and I will see you when I’m at Seoul Forest Park. (Or there about) Oh… The CU is back. And here we are. Ttukseom Park. As you can see, the convenience store
over there is open this week. And I have to review my video from last week because I’m almost certain that building was completely empty. But now it looks like fully stocked. So that’s cool. The managed to stock it and move in in just one week. Lets get up here. Last Monday it was closed, but todat it’s open, finally. Last time I was here they were building all these buildings, it’s like they are all finished. That’s such a change is it? I’m gonna take a few photographs here. And then I will continue on. It’s fitting because the last time I was here
it was the last day of Seoul as well. Though this time it’s not the last day of my vacation. I just finished my biking trip. I’m at Mapo (마포) station and it’s half past five (♫). So I’m heading to my hotel. I need to pack. I need to organize my luggage. I couldn’t film a lot today because, well, I was on a bike and it’s kind of hard to film on a bike. Anyway, I’m going to Gongdeok (공덕) station, which
should be around the corner and I don’t know if I’m going to go to
Myeongdong (명동) tonight, but we’ll see. For now, let’s get to the hotel first and
I’ll catch you when I’m there. I’m back at the hotel now, and I’m reorganizing my stuff. I just bought this from Paris Baguette, which I need to put in the fridge… There. My camera, remove the memory card
and start transferring data. Otherwise I’ll forget it. I do need my hard drive of course. It’s gonna be an early morning. I have to get up at 6am so I can get ready, have
breakfast and move to a Seoul station. From there I’ll take the KTX to Busan. Alright, you guys get the point, right? You guys don’t need to watch me pack all this stuff. I’ll get back to you when I’m done and if there’s
still enough time, maybe I’ll go to the Belgian pub. I’ll get to you when I’m done here, I’ll (…) organize stuff here. Everything is almost packed just the electronics The luggage is gonna be very heavy, but that’s is a problem for tomorrow. Right now, I’m going to eat. I need utensils. What is that? I think it’s cream cheese. It doesn’t taste like much actually. It’s a bit of a late *dinner*. It’s almost 8pm.
Twenty before eight. (19:40) I might go to the Nuba Belgian Cafe one last time. They should know me already, I’ve been there like three times now. This is chicken with cream cheese and some
lettuce, some cranberries, dried nuts, It tastes fried, some tomatoes, cherry
tomatoes and that’s it Healthy stuff, except for the nuts they taste
fried. The salad looks very fresh. It just hits me… I’m leaving Seoul… This time I don’t know when I’ll be back again. Last time I always knew that I would be coming back
in either a year or within two years. But this time I don’t know. I still want to do the east coast of South Korea. I also want to do the bike ride from Incheon to Busan. It’s gonna take some training of course. But yeah. I don’t really know when I’ll be back yet. Might be one year, might be two years, might be five
years, might even be ten years, I don’t know. I also want to go to Japan. If I choose between South Korea or
Japan, I choose South Korea. Mainly because I’m already familiar with the language, even though I can say hello and thank you
and stuff in Japanese as well. But I’ve already invested so much in the Korean language. Anyway, the meal is done. I’ll do the dishes and head to Nuba. Do some cleaning here first. Am I going to take you with me to Nuba? Well, I don’t know yet, but if you enjoyed watching this video please remember to give this video a like and subscribe. And if you have any questions or any comments or whatever,
please leave them in the comments down below. And I will see you next time. Bye bye.
