Spectacular. General [Applause] This year’s tour ends today on the Shanise, 50 years after Paris’s famous boulevard first provided the backdrop to the rac’s finale. Another anniversary, that of one year since the Paris Olympics, sees the riders back on Mon, which means we may not see the traditional sprint finish. [Music] We take the photo, guys. Guys, now we receive info that time will be taken fourth pass through the finish line. So fourth passes through the finish line will be taken time for Jesse. The France is about to fly over the tour here on the Sha. [Music] Look at this for a reception of the riders as they reach the end of 21 stages. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] It’s the time [Music] [Applause] [Applause] of Phillip goes clear. It’s like it’s the last lap. Matra is turning into the theater of dreams of this rider at the front. Yellow. Look at Tad Paga. He’s coming back extremely quick and it’s about Renard on the wheel. So it’s Julian Alfaley Barnard Dele Tad Paga. The yellow jersey kicks on now. He’s decided he wants to get involved in the action this afternoon. Wan is there. Julian Alfilipe sparked a split in the pelaton in the first climb of Mon Mart. Pogata was among the group, but not his GC rivals. With the GC standings already set in stone by race organizers, a prestigious stage victory was now the main prize with two climbs still to go. After crossing the finish line for a fifth time, the lead group headed up Monm again. Pagach took matters into his own legs, leaving just six men in the hunt, among them notably Visma, Fernan, and Matteo Jorgensson. And that group would jewel it out for victory over the final 20 kilometers. Another big attack of Paga in the saddle. Full throttle right now. Vanard still hangs on. Yeah, it’s too much for Moridge. Too much for Yes. And it looks like Ballerini is the only one that’s capable of following him. Vanard. Vanard is too much for attacks. Van Art attacks Pagatcha. The unthinkable has happened. Van Art goes full on now to try and get rid of the yellow jersey and he’s distancing Tad Pagera on Monatra. What a turn up for the books. Van Art goes clear. Only a couple hundred meters before. There it is. That’s the top of the climb now. Look at the acceleration. Wow. Van art has distanced the yellow jersey and winner of the tour to France. An exceptional show of pure power from well fan art. Yeah, this is the von art we’re used to seeing on from a couple of years ago. What an ex sectional climb he’s done. There it is. That’s the top of the climb now. Take it easy around the corner. Slides the bike a little bit. Well, Vanart now full on 6 seconds he’s got. He’s left Pagatcha for dust. [Music] 20ks. Sorry, 20 seconds with 3ks to go [Music] today. The tour to France put in a climb to Mont Martra and this rider has produced the most momentous ride. He’s attacked Pagatcha in the yellow jersey at the top of the final climb and well Vanard has pulled off an incredible stage win. Both hands up 10 stage wins in the tour to France. Well, Vanard wins on the Sha Alise. Take a big bow. That was incredible. That was incredible bike racing. Pure bike racing. Valerini goes for second. Scambo on the wheel looking back. T Pagata is happy with finishing the tour to France. Tare Pagacha wins his fourth tour to France. [Music] Yeah, really really special to to win here on the Shan Le once again and of course the on the first occasion where we also climbed to Mo Mart. The hardest thing for me was to keep the belief but uh especially because people around me kept believing in me I I was able to do it. Yeah, just um speechless to to win the four tour to France. Uh yeah, six series in a row on a podium and yeah, uh this one feels uh especially amazing and um I’m super proud that uh I can uh wear this yellow jersey. [Music] What a performance from Faanert. Pogachar actually had to settle for fourth after he lost out to David Balerini and Mate Mahoric for the day’s podium places. But there was no denying the great Slovenian the most important place on the podium. It’s his fourth victory and his second back-to- back success on the world’s greatest bike race. There were points to be had on today’s final stage and once again Jonathan Milan took them, ensuring he took home the green jersey. And if Pogach is taking home the yellow, it’s thanks in large part to his brilliance in the mountains. He also picks up the polka dot jersey. No surprise that Lifitz turns 25 in September is the winner of the white jersey for the tour’s top young rider. [Music] [Music] This is true. [Music] There’s that moment. Oh y [Music] [Music] [Applause] hell. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Finish. [Music] Yes. Yes. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Good. [Music] [Applause] Woo.

  1. When was the last time someone heard of the runaway winner of The Tour fighting with all his might to win the final stage?!?
    Pogačar, eden največjih vseh časov!!!

  2. Wow. I'm in Oz, so I didn't stay up to watch what i thought would be a bubbly drinking procession. As it turned out, it was a great bike race. Wout Van Aouert gambled and won. He's had a few quiet years lately, but we all know what a classy rider he is. He proved that today. He destroyed the peleton. He came out minutes ahead of everyone. Bravo Wout. He's a rider you can't dislike, because he's so classically brilliant.

  3. I want a behind-the-scenes episode where they take us through the process of making these highlights, such high quality with a personal touch, in such a short turnaround time – would be super interesting! I've worked in video production before and usually something of this calibre takes hours to plan, more hours to storyboard, hours to edit, and then goes through reviews and revisions. So it would take multiple people at least 3 days. But they somehow do it in a few hours. I would imagine whoever plans/scripts the videos is in the media box where live feeds are coming in, and they're literally planning and editing the video together as the live event happens. The pressure must be intense – a bit like doing an editing race alongside the tour! Simply amazing.

And we need a list of the awesome music 😀

  4. Thank you to all who make the TDF such an amazing journey! Seems to have been much better this year with crowds that aren't getting in the riders way so much too. Bravo all!

  5. Realistically if Ben Healy and Arnesman(Ineos) had not of been at the tour it would of been Very Very boring as yellow jersey was bored, Jasper crashed out and Tim didn’t go for green, Lenny was only person with Polka Dot as ambition (it’s really who ever wins most stages in mountains gets it so Tadej) and Remco left so the best riders were Ben and Arnseman
