Vlog#182 Nala cat exploring Luxembourg

[Music] What’s happening, guys? I hope we’re all good out there and welcome back to another video. And we left the hotel this morning and we’re just basically still heading south. We are in Luxembourg at the minute. I mean, look at this. How beautiful is that? We’ve got a busy road just over here and then we’re just cycling at the we quiet road next it some beautiful countryside. It’s a beautiful viewpoint up here. You can see all around the house and away we go. We’re finishing up the calendar just now. I’ve got a few more pictures to get and I would love to get a picture of Nala peeking her head out the grain for one of them, but you’ve just got to find the right place. So, I’m constantly looking out for just a fence post or something just sitting in the field, which we’ll set up on and peek out. [Applause] just camp here cuz we won’t get across this road anytime soon. Fast cars, fast cars. Don’t know on this road for long. Staying outside as much as we can. [Applause] Right. We need to somehow get across that road. It says we cross here. H. There’s a bridge here. I think it goes back on itself. There we go. We have it. Sus Nala. We go this way. There’s none. Another hill girl. Quite a lot of hills now. Just we rolling hills through the farmer’s fields. They’re not too bad though. They’re not that big. So, we’ll just slight low gear and just take our time. Don’t know where that is. Beautiful we town. Beautiful we small town. We’re cycling through. Nice houses as well. Every single house is different. that garden. Hello. That another nasty we hell. Hello. Covered in flies here. Hello. You can see why they get the masks put on cuz there’s just so many flies going through the eyes on all of them. That must be horrible. Hey girl, should we get you a we mask? He’s itching his eye as well. Nasty, nasty, nasty. I was just checking out the weather for the week and it’s to be like this for the next week. Was that important cuz now I never noticed but it’s to be sort of around about 20 23° no rain. Hello. No rain and cloudy. So it’s going to be perfect for us just to continue. One thing I’ve noticed though, there’s not many shops in Luxembourg so far. I could really stop and get another bottle of water and something to eat. It’s 5:00. Stopped here for a we break and I think we’re going to set a base here for the night. We’re next to a busy road as you can probably hear. But what I’m thinking is just tying the hammock across. We’ll have shelter. It’s not meant to rain. Place to keep the bike next to us and then that will be our view as well. So, it’s beautiful. The one problem we do have though is that is the last of our water. So, that’s not very much. So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to go for a we cycle down to that house down there. Just knock on the door. See if we can give us some water. Just giving Nala a we walk just now. Having a we sniff. She’s loving the smell of that. Anyway, is it? What is it? So, we’re going to check there first. [Applause] There’s nothing balls, volleyball nets. What is this building? It’s a big empty building. Looks like a bar, but it looks closed. Damn. toilet. So 610 barbecue area just tap. That’s all we need. Oh, there’s sights there. Is that door open? Oh, we have an outdoor tap there, but it’s switched off. Could be water just straight the toilet now. How do you fancy that? What’s in here? Showers. Oh, let’s see if the toilet is open. Right. So, what we found, and it’s the only thing we found, cuz all the water’s shut off round about is this tap here. I’m pretty sure the water will be okay to drink in Luxembourg. So, this is where we’re getting from. [Music] Lovely. That’s two bottles filled. Now, we’re just going to go back up to that bit there and set up the hammock. Might not set up the hammock straight away, but yeah, I think that’s where we’re going to camp tonight. So, let’s go. A beautiful view. Lovely home sweet home. Here you come. Big jump. Big jump. Come on. Ouch. You going to jump down? Jump. So, I’m thinking I’m going to tie the hammock to that post and then onto this post. Have that as a we desk next to us. And then I’ll be facing that way and that’ll be my view. This is beautiful. What are you smelling? Hey, you smelling that bird? Yeah. You hungry? Yeah. Right. Let’s get her fed cuz a hungry cat is not good. Hey Hello. I hear you. So, that’s what I gave her just now. She loves that stuff. Oh, just bashed her in the nose. Yeah. Wow. Wow. There we go. My girl. She gets wet stuff as well before people start panicking that we only give her dry. But she’s getting that just now. I actually need to go to a shop. We’ve not got much left. We can move this bench a we bit. We can lovely. I’ve just put that in our basket just now, just while I set this up. Just makes it easier. Water. water and a we ultra light hammock. So, pretty easy to set up. Let’s open it. It’s got a mosquito net as well, although I’ve not had any flies land on me here, so we’ll see. Are you kidding? Where are my hooks? Nah. Well, you’re not going to believe this, but the hammock does not come with cords to hang it up. I have bought loads of hammocks over the years. This is a brand new one I got for traveling. No tried it out yet. This is why you should test things out before you take them. And I It does not come with cords to hang it up. So, there goes that. So, our new plans are we have two options. We can either sleep on the bench, which I think might be quite comfy, or we just make up a we bed and sleep down on the floor. We can do that as well. But I was looking forward to just having that as a view up there. Not going to get the same when we’re lying down there. Can’t believe that. Right, since setting up the hammock was a disaster, we’re going to have dinner. So, we’ve got the choice of two pastas tonight. We’ve got penny mint broccoli or we’ve got spinach. And I think I’m going to go with a spinach one. So, we’ll chuck that back in there. Set up the stove. [Music] Nala’s lying down having a nap just now. So, just perfect to do this while she’s doing that. Anyway, [Music] how’s the much water do we put into the pan? all the bits of past out of there. Oh, I don’t wait for this. I don’t wait. Right. Anyway, this is hot, so we need to keep stirring it. Where you going? Hey, this is looking good. Getting there. Come on, pasta time. Woohoo. Right. Anyway, let’s get into this pasta. Just let it cool down a wee bit. Um, it’s probably still too hot, but it looks beautiful. Let’s have a go. Lovely. Anyway, I’m going to enjoy this and then I’m going to take Nal out and have a we walk. Let her stretch her legs. So, bonet. you coming? Dinner was beautiful, by the way, guys. But I’ve just spotted we’ve got two hot air balloons just flying over there, which is quite nice to watch. Here she comes. You coming down? Want to use my croc coming? Nah. You having a we roll?
