[Music] Hello there folks. Welcome to Crystal Motorcycles in Doncaster. Welcome to the channel. Slight technical issues going on there. Sorry about that. Cameraman needs sacking from what I don’t know. But anyway, what have I got for you today? I’ve got a rather nice Yamaha RD80 MX. Uh lovely little bike. It’s a 1986. Um yeah, uh speedo showing 9,430 mi. Got loads of paperwork with it, which we’ll get to in a minute. Um I will try and start it. Um, I’ll be honest with you, it’s been a little bit temperamental this morning. Uh, because it’s been in a private collection for a long time starting it. It took six or seven kicks to get it going, but we’ll have a look at that late in a minute. So, you can all laugh at me trying to start it anyway. So, um, but a nice bike. Anyway, so without further ado, let me grab you guys. Let’s have a walk around and uh then we’ll have a laugh at me trying to start it. Um, I’ll either succeed or I won’t type thing. So, um, but yeah, let’s just, uh, grab the camera and, uh, let’s have a walk around this bike. So, great color scheme. Obviously, the iconic RD color scheme. Paint works really nice. The seat’s lovely. There’s no rips, no tears in the seat or anything like that. And they look fantastic with these uh these mag wheels going on there as well. Uh original exhaust tires in good nick don’t look that old actually in the real world. And as we work our way forward across the top of the bike, you’ve obviously got this the nice color scheme going on. The black over the uh sorry the the red and maroon over the black. Fairly iconic RD colors. But a lovely little RD80. Like I say, showing 9,430 mi on the clock. Coming around to the front of the bike, you got this nice nose cone. Dropping down to the mud guard. And again, the front tire. Plenty of life left in that. And coming around to this side of the bike. Again, everything looks nice and neat and as it should do. Chain sprockets looking nice. Nick, I’ve got the fuel tap on for an optimistic start. But yeah, overall a nice clean bike. So, I’m just going to chuck you guys down somewhere here. Put you back on the table. Hopefully, I get you in the right spot. Some adjustment might be required. Um, so let’s have a go at starting it. Like I say, I I start I got it out the back room earlier. I tickled it. Had a little bit of a go at starting it. It did fire, but it took half a dozen kicks. So, I’m going to give it half a dozen now. If it doesn’t start, it sounds lovely if it does. So, um, let’s just have a look. I’m going to put some choke on, which is there. This is a cold startup or potential cold startup, I should say, folks. But let’s have a look. Oh. [Music] How good does that sound? I’ll turn that off before it absolutely smokes us out. But three kicks. I’ll take that. I’ll take that. It took six earlier. So three. We’re getting better. So lovely little bike. Lovely little RD80 1986. Let me show paperwork. In fact, there’s quite a bit. So I’ll bring this nearer to me. So with it, just bear me a second. Is this the most amateur video you’ve ever seen on YouTube? By the way, just just comment below. Thank you very much. Uh we’ve got the uh original owner’s manual. I’ve also got there’s some parts as well with this bike. Some spare parts. Uh spare bulbs in there. We’ve got uh some spare gas. Uh that’s clutch clutch gaskets. Clutch basket. Uh we’ve got some gaskets. Uh clutch cable as well. Um, I’ve got a Hannes manual. And then we’ve got an original uh RD80 brochure, which is quite cool. Quite like that. All adds to a bit of providence. Yeah. Comment below if this is the most amateur video you’ve ever seen on YouTube. Um, I’ll be curious if there’s a worse one out there. So anyway, 1986 RD80 looking very nice, sounding lovely and smells even better. Uh the bike will come with a full MOT because obviously it’s not quite historic yet. Another year. Uh so yeah, we got another year and then it’s historic, so no tax or testing one more year. Um we’ll still check it over in the workshop. I can offer finance on this vehicle potentially and I can offer nationwide or international delivery if required. If you’d like to know how much this bike is, there is a description below which contains a price and also a bit more information and a link to our website where you will find this vehicle with at least a dozen photos in high definition.
