[Music] Fake. I’m fake. I’m Michael Focus for the winner of the stage. You possible warn the stage. Ben Healey stage winner in the tour to France. Congratulations to every one of you. It’s not one of the super teams. It’s not one of the biggest budget teams. This is everything to this squad. They’re a team who always ride with an attacking frame of mind, aren’t they? They refuse to believe in just riding and following. 20 seconds to the punch. Don’t look back. Now it’s all about what we said or what we said in this tour to France since day one. Henrik Mass, can he get his first ever stage win in a tour to France? I can’t believe we’re actually saying that he’s never won a stage before. This stage good with our heads held up high. stage winning a tour to France. Very proud eyes there from uh to team has been growing. They were on a mission. [Music] So this is how the final day looks for the Pelaton before they reach Paris. A tricky stage heading out of Nour with some tough climbs along the 184.2 km route to Pontalier. Quite a dynamic start as predicted. Keep going. Keep going. We’re going to good weather. We’re going to good weather after 88k. The rain eventually relented, which was the cue for a breakaway to finally stick. Timons, Matio Jorgensson, and Yuan Costu helped a group of 13 riders go clear. After almost 2 hours in the saddle and more than 70 km, it had taken some time for the race to heat up and the Pelaton were still very much in touch. Crash crash. One rider down. How far did Mro Schmidt slide from his bike? Oh, crash. Rear. Oh, Clement Shampusan hitting the deck. onto the climb. Thousands of people on this coach. Jat accelerates in the front. So Jad ups the tempo now with an eye on breaking into the top 10. Jordan broke clear 2 km from the top of the Kotzi with Harry Sweeney in pursuit. The Australian caught the Frenchman before a few km later speeding off on his arm. I think he’s not happy. Sweenie is a lot stronger. Yes, he is stronger. It’s not that he doesn’t want, it’s just he can’t follow you. The rain was back and with the leaders happy to sit in the Pelaton. The stage victory would be decided by those further up the road with Sweeney the man in pole position for now. [Music] Taxi swing has been distanced from that group. [Music] Gregoire W coming out wide. Oh, big crash. Romeo crashes. Gregoire crashes. And the only rider who doesn’t is Fandm Brook. This is going to add some real fight into this chase cuz Gregoire wants this stage. And he’s riding strong to come back on his own. Yes, he was in between the cars, but he came back very quickly. Big move of Kaden Groves. Yeah, but not great reaction there from Vanderbrook because he’s lost it anyway. But great move there. Kaden Groves has looked today like he is having the day of his life. Frank Vandenbrook attacks and he’s dropped Stewart. Has he left it too late? Vandenbrook’s decided he’s got to do this now. In front is Frank Vandenbrook. He looks around trying to hold on for second place, but he’s being hunted down and hunted down very quickly. He turns the corner and gets set for the biggest win of his career. Through the roundabout, he’ll be able to see the final run into Pontalier. And he can’t believe it. What a day. What an incredible ride. Courageous. Absolutely courageous. He comes around the corner with 100 meters to go. This rider is now a stage winner in all three grand tours. The emotion breaks out. Solo win. Kaden Grove stage 20. Thank you. Congrats. There’s so many emotions to win here. I mean, there’s so much pressure at the tour and yeah, my first time ever winning solo head at a tour stage. So, it’s pretty incredible. I got to celebrate with my team tonight. And uh yeah, I’m going to enjoy the shops tomorrow. There had been two top 10 finishes for Kaden Groves on this year’s tour, but this was his first victory in the race and completes his career collection. He’s now got stage wins on all three grand tours. Tade Pogacha came in just over 7 minutes behind the day winner. Barring an absolute catastrophe, he’ll be celebrating a fourth title in Paris on Sunday. No change in the green jersey standings with Jonathan Milan now just one stage away from victory. Bogacha remains at the head of the King of the Mountain standings, too. He’s set for a third career win in the category on the tour. And what a tour for Florian Lipovitz. Third in the GC. He said to take home the white jersey of this year’s best young rider.

  1. Out of all the highlight reels this is the only one I watched that explains the rain and actually shows it.
That poor Kat 4:08 just before slid quite a ways and the motorcycle stopped stopped almost as if it were scripted.
Riding full bore while wet cannot be that enjoyable

  2. Why:

    – Tour de France
    – Tour de France femmes

    And not:

    – Tour de France hommes
    – Tour de France femmes

    or:

    – Tour de France hommes
    – Tour de France

    or:

    – Tour de France 21 etapes
    – Tour de France 9 etapes

  3. The creators of these clips do a great job! Please go on, making highlight videos in this amazing way!
A excellent way to forget that there will be no next season of the Netflix Tour de France series… 0:05

  4. So lads, have anyone of u experiemce from the stages after tdf, i mean cycling as an amateur on vacation. Me and wifey will pass France near Lyon in 2 weeks. Wheres the best somewhat car free stages for 2 amateurs?

  5. Not sure that anyone's mentioned, on any of these videos, how well these are put together. That is a travisty. Please forgive everyone else.
    Seriously though, cheers.

  6. Im so happy for Kaden!! He wanted to leave Alpecin to have a chance to race in TdF bcoz of Phillipsen is the main sprinter, but he stays and got his reward! Awesome

  7. I just don't understand why pro riders have stopped wearing gloves. In the second crash (2:48) you can see the rider using his hands on the asphalt to take pressure off his body. Then as his hands abrade, he pulls them in and just takes the abrasion elsewhere. If he had gloves on he could have continued to keep his hands down, let the gloves take the damage, and reduce the damage elsewhere on his body.

Plus, our hands are sooooo important to everything we do. Having even minor abrasion the hand, much less gravel that needs to be picked out, would make it incredibly painful to ride the following day of the tour. I would never dream of riding without gloves. They make me more comfortable in every way, give me a nice nose-wipe material on the back of the hand, and give me some critical protection in a potential crash.

It really looks to me like gloves have simply become unfashionable. Each year I see fewer and fewer riders wearing them and it boggles my mind.

Anyone have additional insight as to what is going on with that choice by pro-riders.

And as everyone has said, these highlight videos have been exceptionally well done. Great work telling the story of the days race in such a short format. As someone who has no way to watch the full tour coverage, these have been absolutely great!

  8. Fantastic editing!!! When this skill is at its best, the audience doesn’t notice, which is the point, but still sad that there’s little credit to the one who created all the emotion that distracted the viewer from this art.
