just welcomed my new Endurace 6 🙂
Can anyone tell me what the max clearance is? Canyon states 36 mm but I read posts from people saying they managed fit up to 40 mm in the front and 38 mm in the back. As of now the FD is so close to the tire that I don't see anything bigger than 32 mm fit in there but I read that Canyon is aware of this and I'll mail them in the next days.
I'm also a bit concerned that the bike (XL) might be too big for me but maybe I just have to get used to the position. I'm 193 cm and rode a 57 cm frame with a super high saddle and flat bar up till now. When I take a look over the handlebar the front axle is like 15 cm in front of the flat bar, so maybe I'm just used to a mad aggressive position. With the Endurace the front axle is a bit behind the handle bar so I think maybe a 20 mm shorter stem could make it a bit more comfortable because at the moment, I experience discomfort in the lower part of my hand, below the little finger (I am uncertain of the English term for this area) while riding, and I also feel as though I am sitting in a very stretched position. This is because I lean on the hoods, but my weight pushes me further forward, causing my “skin to stretch.” on the part I use to lean on the handle bar. Do you understand what I mean? 😀
