Yo, Vogue, it’s Loli. Today, come with me for my perfect day
in Paris, when I’m not working. It’s snowing. It’s cold. But let’s have a great day. I’d like to be James Bond or Spider-Woman. I think the craziest thing would probably
be to walk around in a swimsuit in this weather. In Iceland.
For Saint-Laurent. In a swimsuit on glaciers.
But it was worth it. Paris under the snow, potentially
the first time. I’ve seen lots of Lyon in the snow. But Paris, that doesn’t ring a bell. So yes, first time. I moved for
the first time 2 years ago. Then I went back to Lyon. I came back to Paris, went back
to Lyon, and now back to Paris. We’re going to the Bourse de Commerce. Follow me, please. I’ve been told there’s an exhibition
on Arte Povera. Come on, let’s have a look. This is the first time I’ve been to
the Fondation Pinault. It was a recommendation from my mom. Because she comes here very often. She and my stepfather love it. We’re here because of her. This is the first time I’ve seen
this architecture by Tadao Ando. I really like the contrast
between the old part that’s been preserved
and this raw concrete block that’s hyper modern. I think it’s a nice contrast. I wanted to be either an athlete
or a musician. But I went to university
to work in societal statistics, so it’s nothing like that. But now you’ve begun, you’re happy. Absolutely! It’s not a perfect job,
but it’s a bit of a dream for everyone. I think it’s a dream because there are a lot
of young girls, and boys too,
who dream of being a model. It’s an attractive profession. You have access to things that
are not available to everyone. I think fashion, and modeling in general,
is something to dream about. We’re about to leave the Bourse
de Commerce. It was a wonderful recommendation. Thank you, Mom! It’s a beautiful place. I’m so glad I came. Come on, let’s grab a bite at Paperboy. The best moment of my career,
I think it was the confirmation for my first show. My first Louis Vuitton show, March 2020,
at the Louvre. It was… emotional, scary,
the unknown, all that. Best fashion show? One of my favorites
was being the Chanel bride. My mom was in the audience. She was very moved. To see her so moved,
that was powerful. I really enjoyed my Versace opening
last February. I gave my all for that show. It was one of my most
successful walks, I think. Hi there.
Hi, how are you? Fine, how are you? I’ll have the French toast,
bacon eggs, avocado and juice, please. Got it! We came to Paperboy because it’s
a pretty legendary place in Paris. And the food is very good. In 2024, I visited… I went to the United States a lot. I’ve been to Korea. I’m going to China. Italy. London. New York, L.A. For work, I like to go to New York. New York is cool. And Paris. Paris. At home, in bed afterwards. That’s cool. I’m so successful,
if you can call it that, because I think I’m pretty laid-back. To have a backstage attitude to fame that’s quite human and normal. We do fashion, we’re not saving the world.
So take it easy. There’s the physical transformation, which
can sometimes be very impressive. You embody a character for a day. You really have to get
under the skin of the character. But in the end, there’s always
a big part of me, Loli, that remains. I think you can feel it,
whether it’s my walk or my poses. But I’m still quite identifiable
as Loli. Like the great models, then?
Maybe so. The disadvantages…
mainly solitude. You find yourself very young, very early on,
on the other side of the world. No bearings. Sometimes without even
speaking the language. I remember when I was younger, when
I’d just started out, my friends would all start celebrating,
for example their 18th birthdays, parties… I’d find myself all alone in a hotel room
on the other side of the world. It’s cool to be on the other side
of the world. But sometimes,
the simple things – being with your mates, your family –
are the most important. It’s a fact that we’re far removed
from all that on a daily basis. I listen to a lot of music
to make up for the loneliness. I like to wander around
the towns I go to. Otherwise, I watch movies. Thank you very much.
Bon appetit! I would tell a young public model
to let herself go. After all, we work with
a lot of professionals. The more you let yourself go,
the more beautiful the result. Whether it be photos or video. Keep your feet on the ground
and stay in touch with your family if possible. Because that’s
a really important anchor point. In any case, for me, it was key in the evolution of me as an adult. Let’s go. Right now, we’re going to go into a vinyl
store and try to find 2 or 3 cool things. Hi, there. A bit of Brazilian music. More funk,
soul, jazz, classical music. I wanted to know, do you have
any Jorge Ben Jor vinyl? Where you have your finger, on top. Right there.
OK. I’ve selected a Japanese vinyl
of Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall album. He’s my favorite artist. And Marvin Gaye. He’s one of my favorite
artists too. With one of my favorite songs
of all time: I Want You. Sergio Mendes. He passed away not too long ago, by the way. I love Brazilian music
because my father was a capoeira teacher. I was always immersed
in these sounds as a child. It’s something I identify with. I’ll take it. Thank you very much.
Thank you. Have a nice day. Time for my drum lesson. Come on, let’s go! We’re here because I’m taking
a drum class. I started drumming about a month ago. I chose drums because of my family history
with the instrument and because I’ve always
been very attracted to rhythm. I find it good therapy to be able
to tap into something. At the same time, you’re
creating the basis for a piece of music. It’s very focused. It’s very cerebral. There’s a disconnect between the limbs. Staying in rhythm is
a complicated exercise. Yes, I studied music. I went to the conservatory for 10
years when I was younger. I stopped playing music for a long time. I needed to reconnect with something. I chose drums. I play with the same drumsticks
as my father. He played drums for 15 years. I found these drumsticks by chance. A gentleman gave them to me in a store. So that’s a sign. At the end of the day,
I sometimes go to Mary Celeste for a glass of wine with my mates. Yes, I could imagine myself as an actress
in certain projects. I’d like to be James Bond or Spider-Woman. Playing in “Jeanne du Barry” was cool. It was a great experience
to go behind the scenes of the film world. It’s really different from fashion. There you have it. Thank you so much, Vogue, for following me
over the last 24 hours. It was really cool.
