The bold mountain approaches the mon 2 but delivered in uni fashion. You say lantern lantern. This is a welter st. It’s not a welter stage. It’s a tour to France stage. They just they’re doing it the uni Puerto style and with that flat start we had a lot of riders trying to get in the breakaway. I mean TUDA they got in with Hala Hishi and uh Mura I’ve said about 20 times Reese’s in this race he’s not in this race and so those teams it’s very peculiar when teams do this a breaker three it’s not going to make it so why block by blocking and then maybe letting UAE control you help UAE and Plet control the stage for the 99% chance that Paga wins the stage look UA with Plet They’re marking counter moves. They are very happy with a three-man breakaway. And when I think it’s Deletron, Total looks at Plet, Plet shakes his hand saying, “I’m not going to relay.” And what Plet’s doing here is totally legitimate. Totally legitimate. He can mark who he wants and follow their wheel and discourage them. And then UAE quite quickly come to the front with Pagatcha. And then there’s going for the yellow jersey is going to go and P. And they’re happy with this break. They’re saying this is the break. Break formation’s over and then they can control for the stage. Pagatcha goes in peace and actually there was no jumping. The Pelaton respected that. But I was thinking this can’t be the break. What 20 teams missed it. Everyone knows Pagatcha is going to win if you don’t get in the breakaway. You know, Mastar, FDJ needs something. And Jacob break the deadlock. Plap and Schmidt go. UAE react hard. It actually split the Pelaton into groups that even UA were getting in. But now Plet is frustrated. He starts giving a serve to Castrio and Ina Rubio saying break formation’s over. You shouldn’t be jumping. Frank Vandenbrook’s kind of laughing at him and so is just marking everybody. But it gets worse. Then Gia Cortina goes, Poland jumps in the wheel and then he starts giving even Romeo a serve. But you got to understand it from P’s perspective. He’s paid a lot of money. He can’t ride in the Pelaton. He had a paid vacation on week one. his one job is to control the stage so Pagata can win on the mountain top finishes and he messed it up on stage 14 and so when there’s jumping he’s kind of freaking out and Gon Banana says we’re not listening to you and then it was very very amusing when the break of three get caught and the actual break of the day is a huge break of like 35 plus riders including three quick steppers they got a tug buddy too Pascal Enorn for Vans Perry Pantra and Ilan Van Wilder their two best climbers left in the race but You know, for UAE, it’s not no problem. They got Civico in the break. They got Solair in the break. They got two satellite riders. Ben Healey in for EF Education for easy post. Um Benot and Camponuts are in there for Vizman. But it’s a big break and it’s going to be hard. Nion impossible for one rider to control. So Pol got a lot harder now with this breakaway to manage and it gets a big gap. one group Fuga Dela Fuga with Aaronman. They’re on 633 by the base of Vaughn 2 and it’s a bit harsh when it is a 16k climb. It’s like a 20k climb from Bedawan. We see the shape of the formation pelon change our Vizmissa bike with Ving going to try something. Enor drops out of the fuger and starts to pace. Enrique goes clear at the bottom wanting to get away but Vizma they take control with Vanard at the bottom. They start setting a pace and the half an hour maybe 50minute battle between Valentine Parapantra and Ben Healey begins which was very very entertaining but you’ll see that Ilan von Wilders on Healey’s wheel so quicker working over those riders and then Seep Cruz takes over after Vanard finishes his pull the eagle of Durango uh cue the eagle sounds he’s back cooking on the front Simon Philip Yates in his wheel Navi is gone so Patcha getting a little bit isolated but he’s got teammates in front. So, Civic Convent there in front. Although then Yates is gone and then he’s got Adam Yates with him. So, Pagatcha is not getting outnumbered. Still looking very relaxed under this tempo. The GC groups about 10 riders, but then the pace stalls. Cus has been pacing for 20 minutes or so. Kalito Rodriguez attacks and then the inevitable happens. Vingard launches his attack on the steeper slopes before Shal Renard because when they turn left and exit Shal Renard, it’s not as steep. It’s 67% and there’s a big headwind. And so Vingard tries here. Was Pagatcha bluffing? Was he suffering? I mean, we’re we’re kind of reduced to analyzing facial expressions. He was never on a gap either. And then he looks a lot more comfortable in Vingard’s wheel afterwards. Whilst Ben Healey, I mean, an Irishman/Brammy, Colombian, and a Frenchman walk into a Shalet Renard and a disagreement unfolds because Ben Healey is like, “Guys, we got to get to the top. We’re on four minutes and Vingard has two teammates in front. He’s attacking. Pagatcha is going to go maybe counter him. If we want to win the stage, we have to cooperate. Bonote starts nuking in front of Vingard on the 10% section. Pagatcha still looks pretty comfortable. Lipovitz and Rogich start trying to work over poor old Oscar only who does admirably. Vingard goes again, but this time Pagata looks under much less pressure. And so where’s Vingard going to go? And he when he looks behind and sees Pagatcha’s still there. So, not an inch budged by Pagatcha, although Vizma were putting him trying to put him under pressure. Campernut’s weights ahead. He’ll start to pull the headwind section. Ben Healey just continues himself. He’s like, “Well, if you’re not going to pull, I’m just going to consolidate my GC position and maybe battle it out one v one at the finish. Uh Bora were actually doing the same tactics as Vizma. It wasn’t on TV much, but Bora played this stage perfectly.” And since, you know, they had a bit of a shocker at the start of week one. Bora have been excellent the last six or seven stages I would say and their GC position is looking excellent. Uh meanwhile ahead in group one there’s still no cooperation. They’ve caught Enrik Mars Santi’s dropped and now there comes another attack from Vingard after Campernard’s pace for a while. They’re within two and a half minutes of the front of the race. But fortunately for them Vingard gives Paga the chicken wing and Pagatcha doesn’t relay. We maybe expecting a counter. Pagata probably wanted to win this stage of an iconic finish. We don’t know when the next mountain top finish will be. We don’t see but Roglish has attacked Onley and Onley is trying to chase him with Livitz on the wheel. They’re still finessing in front. Then Healey takes over. Then he’s like, “Please pull.” They finesse him some more. Marsona come back and now the big problems coming for that front group. Pagatcha attacks Yonas Vingard. He had to go out and try. Oh, is that a Was that a poor Adelaide jersey on that bloke on the left? Um, and Ringard responds, even gives him a counteratt attack. And I’m sorry, I’m really thrown by the Port Adelaide jersey. I mean, what’s it doing on Vault 2? But they stop again. 800 meters to go, but they’re stopped in front. We It was so entertaining, but where does he come from? Cue the Undertaker music. Ilan Van Wilder returns to the front. The teammate of VPP. And they know, VPP knows, the others may not know. VPP is fast. And if they can just get it to the final 300 when Ben Healey leads him out, not many people can actually beat VPP’s uphill kick. And he goes around Ben Healey to take the first French stage win of this year’s tour to French. The fourth stage win for Sudar Quickstep. A bit further behind. Only 40 seconds behind. Paga attacks in the last 250 m and puts Vingigard on a couple of seconds in the sprint. But here’s the stage results. VPP wins a big stage for Quickstep and France ahead of Ben Healey. Brago third. Then Van Vilda, Pagata and Vingard were 43 and 45 seconds behind. In terms of GC, the big change is Rogich goes ahead of Voclan who lost a lot of time today. Livitz takes more time on only Roglish inches closer to Onley. So Red Bull white jersey is looking good. They nearly despite not winning the stage, he takes a good three, four minutes on Carlos Rodriguez and moves back into ninth. Hope you enjoy the recap. Jo.

The lead over 3rd is vast. Pog just has to stay on Jonas wheel. There’s other Visma lads can do what they want
Excellent commentary mate!! ❤
if honest im little scared for Pogi after yesterday… Vine looked fresh and ready. And in that first attack Pogi looked like he was not really ready yet for attack. Now we have two more mountain stages and if Pogi has just one bad day, Vine is ready to bite of time like a shark. As pogi fan im happy for those 4min and respect to Vine for still trying!
This is the Vuelta stage!! 🗣🔥.
Why is Campenaerts cooking his 🧠 out like that with that TT helmet? It’s because he’s balding or what? Serious Q.
Great stage incredible finale.
visma stop trying as it's very doubtful that vingegaard will be aloud to take a stage win or even take any time back, visma should concentrate on getting wout a stage win, just out of respect or they could loose him to another team next year, i also reckon that vingegaard could also be looking to change teams as it's all gone a bit stale,
what happened to Mateo Jorgenson, I didnt watch the full stage but dont see him on any highlights
What the F is going on at Lidl Treck?! This is not the same team we saw at the Classics and in the Giro!
Port Adelaide are out of the finals so why not go to Mount Ventoux!?
The Eagle of Durango Eagle Squack
That definitely was a Port Adelaide Jersey hahaha
Ben done well.
that most certainly was a Port Adelaide jersey!
Still amazed that Campanaerts almost retired until Visma snapped him up
Yes, it was a Port Power jersey. It’s a wonder there wasn’t a random South’s jersey there too!
5:16 was the camera angle that made me jump out of my chair. GAP!
poor vingegaard
Love your style lantern you’re awesome
Did the Power fan take Ginni’s plane cele seriously?
Am I the only one getting fed up by the boring dominance by UAE and their arrogance?
Am I the only one who calls VPP Party Pants?
Why has bro said 67 in this vid like 2 times
Can see the highlights on other channels, but LR tells you why they're highlights! Chapeau!
Poggie-juice! Cures all know colds, and ailments, and lets you fly up hills no matter the time of day!
Politt can follow anyone's wheel! Even up large mountains! Because now he rides for uncle Mauro!
pogi is defiantly doping
Really sad that UAE is such a weird expensive team that is not able to control a flat stage untill the mythical mountain appears and Pogi should have won there
Paret Paintre going full leech on Healy to win the stage, and didn't even high-five him at the top – Healy went over to say congrats and Paintre ignored him.
Paintre may have won the stage, but Healy won the people's hearts.
That is a Port Adelaide jersey at 6:52 😂 https://images.app.goo.gl/DT8kWSQRT98k5Cy96😂
Whole UAE team should go to manners lecture.
When Van Wilder surged from nowhere I just screamed at my TV "Who the hell is that?! He just teleported from nowhere!"
Pogacar is dopalien or alien 🙂
It's amazing how similar the Eagle of Durango sounds to the kwokka's roar
Pogacar toying jonas.
