A grand tour jersey has to be on the cards for Matty, which makes Joe happy about having a way in to more free bottles & team swag…
I started off from a local group ride and then I went to my local club and I started racing a little bit. From there it just developed. You you do a little bit better every single race and eventually you end up on the start line racing for Fencham House, one of the biggest junior teams in the world. It really opens your eyes into what this sport can offer you. 3 years down the line I got my first call up to Pur Bay. Like this is my job. It’s it’s class. It’s still just a fun hobby, which is the best part about it. I meet people. I travel the world and have such unique experiences that I just couldn’t get anywhere else. I’ve been fortunate enough to stand on the podium 10 times this season, eight of which were professional victories, and it’s been a class year, but I always want to achieve more.
