Day 5 of my solo bikepacking tour and the adventure LEVELS UP! ☀️ I set off from Lochau on Lake Constance and pedalled into Landquart, Switzerland—finally getting crystal-clear views of the Alps and jaw-dropping landscapes all day long. After 100 km of sun-drenched roads I stopped at a designer outlet for rain-ready gear, then rolled on through lakeside paths, rivers, and the first alpine valleys. The scenery changed by the minute and the excitement was REAL!

So the end of fifth day about 90 kilometers done today. I came from Loha to Lquart somewhere in Lquarts. A friend of mine is staying here. It’s a pretty nice village. The road was so nice and it was just continuing the same way. It was like a valley and um I did there for 90 km. Most of the road was there for about 45 km or so. I didn’t even realize I was like going 45. I thought it was only 20 or something, but it was just um yeah, I got into the flow there. Then I realized that I already passed Leninstein to some degree. So then I got into Likenstein. Okay, just got out of the camping site. Now we have about 86 kilometers. Um I just had a great interview. It was actually really nice. Um I’m really getting this feeling that bike picking thing bikers are like it’s a community and it’s a it’s a community I think I want to be belonging to you know it’s um I don’t know it’s great join in lads let’s start the journey I do have a bit of an concern if I can do it but yeah I know I’ll manage especially with these people man Like people are so nice. It’s uh especially if you’re like traveling around and if they know that you’re traveling around, there’s always someone who likes a traveler and then they help you out. I don’t know. Especially when they see the bike, then you have like a straight up reference point, you know? It’s like, yeah, you’re traveling. All right. Do you see the mountains in the rage? We’re getting into the Alps zone. like actually getting into it. Let’s go. The scenery is amazing. a bro. Amazing. And it goes on this little hill. You can’t see, but like it’s all mountains here. All mountains. You know whenever it feels like what am I doing I tell myself I’m exploring you know I wonder what’s that how it is like in 80 kilometers after and it’s so it’s such a nice feeling to see the earth change like culture yeah culture changes you see that but like to face to actually witness how the earth is changing like the shape of its the landscapes really slowly. It’s an amazing feeling. Just do it. Just do it. Get out and bike, bro. It’s been about It’s been about 45 kilometers since I’ve been traveling and I haven’t even realized it. The road is just This is so good. I’m in the flow, bro. And everybody like so nice. People are really smiling all the time. Look at these mountains though, bro. Look how majestic they are. So cool. You can see some houses in the distance. [Music] Apparently, I’ve already entered Lienstein, but I didn’t even see. So, now I’m going to go towards the center to see around the city, the country. [Music] But now we getting into the more city part of Rikstein. [Music] It feels like it’s generally tourists. There’s the art museum on my left and it’s a really good one. [Music] It’s a nice church. [Music] I wonder if they have a different kind of a church. [Music] [Music] They really like to like, you know, they really rich. Maybe I can sell the bike to someone here. Okay, so I came about 45 50 kilometers still. Now there’s like 40 more to go. Taking a little break. We have in food today. Salami sticks with tomato paste and some bread I bought like 3 days ago. That is pretty good bread, so should be fine. Lucianstein so far. It’s uh I I was on the bike highway, so I didn’t like fully realize where I was, but um it’s really small. Um you can finish the whole country in like an hour max bike ride. Of course, there is like if you go through the central part, I don’t know what is there to see here. And I have a long way still. So I’ll just, [Music] you know, just passing by. The church is nice. I don’t really know what to say much about it. I didn’t search the country that much. I know they have like a really right-wing monarchy system. I know they’re wealthy. Um, I know they’re a country. But so far it feels like um any other place you pass by in Austria or Switzerland. It’s like it is blended in the culture of course. Okay, I have to show this. I don’t think I’ve seen any water that’s this clear before. [Music] It’s so nice. [Music] After taking the break and eating some food, seeing Michenstein, I got back on the road. It just went on. The landscape kept on changing and I just got more and more amazed by how these mountains look. And even now, like look at this view. Yeah. After getting amazed so much, like it just wasn’t enough. Like even now, I mean, look at this. It’s just amazing. Yeah. After that, I went into an outlet to buy some stuff because I needed some uh some stuff to make sure that if it rains or if it gets cold that I can actually make sure everything works out fine. And I got those and then I came my and then I again saw some amazing places like I took some pictures, not much videos of it. It’s like when I say it can’t get better, it just gets better and better. How amazing is this? And this is only the beginning, bro. Only the beginning, bro. Look at these roads, bro. Like, I don’t know how much I’m going to film this, but you can’t get enough of it. Now, I came to my friend’s house. I’m going to settle down, wash my clothes, edit the videos, and prepare for the next day. And tomorrow I’m going to actually stay in um I’m I’m using warm showers for the first time. I’m going to stay with a host. Uh she has pretty good reviews, so I’m assuming it’s going to be nice. I’m looking forward to it. Let’s see how that goes.
