My first ever build — definitely a learning experience! Bought the frame on eBay (may have been somewhat inebriated), came with original BB/crankset, headset, and vintage Cinelli stem and bars. Looking through old Peugeot catalogs I figured out it’s an ‘84, based on the weird (not very functional) binder bolt behind the seat post in lieu of a normal collar.
Set up now with a vintage quill seat post, Brooks C17, Velo Orange cockpit, and Claris groupset. Wheels and tires are just what I could find at the co-op. Still need to iron out some kinks, but it looks pretty sharp and it’s fast as heck. I’ve only taken it around town so far but I’m looking forward to a longer ride or two soon. Fun project!
