Wild Atlantic Way starts now! Cycling Ireland day 8!

Hey guys, welcome to day eight of my cycle tour here in Ireland. I’m back after having a day off to get my hair colored and it’s time to get back on the road. I’m super sad because yesterday there was no rain and today it’s pouring all day long. I got a bagel and a coffee before I got going, though. I stopped by the post office this morning to buy the Wild Atlantic Way passport, and I got my first stamps. Just as I was leaving Cork, the rain started coming down. So, I got in all my rain gear and headed off. Today, it was pouring nonstop. So, I don’t have much footage of the ride. But, as I continued down the road, the more miserable I became. All the rain got through all my rain gear. So, everything was just drenched underneath and I was getting so so cold. I decided to stay in a B&B tonight because there was no stopping this rain. Also, the roads weren’t that good today. I was with a lot of heavy traffic and it was a little dangerous with all the rain. But I did make it to the B&B which had the most beautiful view and the lady working here. Even dried my clothes for me. She was so sweet. The room was super nice and had a bathtub. So, I was thriving. I had some dinner and ran a bath and enjoyed my evening. I’ll see you guys tomorrow.
