hey guys what is up everybody and welcome to a
new video in this video we’re going to talk about top 10 um scenic routes around Montenegro which
you can visit on a motorcycle so I designed this roads that they can be accessible by any type
of the bike from cruisers to ADV bikes because they all paved roads and let me start probably
from one of the first routes which you’re going to visit because this road is located around
coastal area of Montenegro and probably it’s one of the most famous routes which people visit –
Kotor Serpentine road this road is famous for its stunning views to the Kotor Bay area Kotor Bay is
also known as Kotor Fjord the most southern fjord of Europe it features number of turns and twists
and first of all it gives you enjoyment to ride and secondly all the views which you which open
up to you from every turn like they just they just beautiful i would also suggest to visit that
road probably around the sunset time because when they when you ride there around sunset time just
probably unique feel right so you’re riding there above the clouds and then sun is going down it’s
just something to remember I would say so next one will be the road from Pluzine to border of border
with Bosnia i personally like this road because it features number of again tunnels some bridges
there is also um Mratinje Dam which been built in 1975 and you know still functional since then
and also you ride along the turquoise waters of Piva Lake uh which is also beautiful no matter
whether you go down from Bosnia to Montenegro or from Montenegro all the way up to Bosnia I would
definitely suggest to incorporate this road um next one will be the road through the Durmitor
National Park and of course that is the most famous road not only in Montenegro but also in
entire Balkan region so many travelers from from Europe they want to get there they want to see
this place because it’s truly amazing it is it’s hard to explain until you see it right so it’s
better to see it it’s better to experience that place and um I would always say that if you’re
going to go if you’re going to cross Durmitor National Park from Pluzine all the way up to
Zabljak just uh don’t rush maybe even take a lunch box with you and then when you’re in the
middle of the park stop there um take a minute maybe have your lunch have your drink maybe do
coffee and just enjoy because it it is going to be it is going to be silent it’s going to be what
you see in terms of mountains uh that’s probably what you’re not going to see anywhere else it’s
like unique like structure of those mountains and landscape of those mountains it gives you some
kind of feel that you’re somewhere out of this world um so that’s what I like uh about Durmitor
National Park next road which I also would um incorporate if you traveling through the
Montenegro there is a P4 back road connecting Zabljak and Kolasin this road also has a famous
Tara bridge on its way and if you ride this road almost any time of the year except wintertime um
you will be witnessing beautiful beautiful nature uh like Tara Canyon on your left or depends from
which direction you go on your right it has number of you know twists and turns as well and um also
tunnels and the thing is that road is not busy i mean again you’re sort of you can enjoy that road
you can ride in your own pace you will be passing by some villages on your way the only thing
which to consider is that sometimes this road has ongoing construction works and it can be blocked
try to do your research or reach out to me and uh literally ask you know um is it is it open can
we go next one will be E65 road which I personally like it connects Kolasin and Podgorica which
is the capital of Montenegro back in the day it was like main road people ride or drive these
days there is newly built highway so most traffic goes there which makes old road great because it’s
not busy with the traffic it has beautiful views bridges tunnels you ride along the canyons and
those canyons feature turquoise waters and also on your way you have like small Montenegrin villages
so like all that combination um of things which kind of give you glimpse of what Montenegro is
Skadar Lake road and that road you can split into two parts one is uh connecting Rijeka Crnojevica
and Virpasar and another one connecting Virpasar and the Bar so Virpasar back in the day it is a
trade town which connects Montenegro and Albania and from there you have small boats going and you
know do trade between those two countries nowadays it’s purely tourist attraction but the thing is
from there it’s kind of like central point so from there you can go you can cover one part of Skadar
Lake which is beautiful and also goes through the small Montenegrin villages and on the other side
you have pure wild nature when you ride that road you have stunning views to the Skadar Lake and on
the other side of the lake you see Albania another road which you can take from there actually road
connecting Virpasar and one of the coastal towns called Petrovac so that road is uh previously been
one of the main roads connecting coastal area of Montenegro and again the capital of Montenegro
Podgorica but these days it’s not really used much but I personally like that that road because it’s
currently not being used so you have more freedom riding there less traffic and also stunning views
on one side you have stunning views to the seaside of Montenegro like coastal area of Montenegro
on the other side you have stunning views to the Skadar Lake and that road features number of
again twist and turns and uh even has a little bit of Yugoslav architecture there if you somehow in
that region and you need to go to the coast from Skadar Lake probably this is one of the roads to
take the next will be Captain’s Lake road so you can take this road from Niksic to Captain’s Lake
uh that’s going to be a paved part of the road and it’s been recently repaved so like any type of
motorcycle can go there i personally like this road for again not many people being there i like
it for the nature which it can offer it just like somehow you get there and you just surrounded by
those big mountains and uh like rocky mountains in some fashion people who like hiking they
will find plenty of hiking passes around this that that lake um if you just want to camp you
can camp there there is unfortunately there is not that many options in terms of accommodation
but there is a campsite so if you’re okay camping you can camp there but if you don’t want to
camp and you’re looking for more comfortable experience so in this case you can just visit
there visit that place for a couple of hours and then continue riding all the way down to the
coast or to the capital of Montenegro another one uh is not far from the capital of Montenegro
called Korita Circle and that road is again goes through like small Montenegrin villages it is only
maybe 40 kilometers loop so it’s going to take you maybe 1 hour maybe hour and a half depends on your
riding style but it features uh kind of nice views you have landscapes which open up to you on every
turn and also you can see you can actually be on the border with Albania so you can literally
see the Albania from there i would not say it’s like must visit road but it’s one of the roads
which beautiful and if you have another hour to ride just why not to do that and the last but not
the least place to visit or ride is um the circle around Kotor bay so you can start here in Tivat
you can go around uh the bay and then you come back to Tivat using ferry on your way you will be
see number of Venetian style cities and villages and one of those which you must to visit are Kotor
and probably Perast yeah it’s just like beautiful and even if you want if you have a little bit of
time you can take a boat to their islands in the middle of the bay uh that would be nice addition
to your vacation or even just a few days stay around Montenegro area so guys thank you very
much for watching i think that’s all for today and if you have any questions or comments leave
them down below and I’ll see you in the next one
