On Saturday December 28th 2024 we went to Preston Parkrun (https://www.parkrun.org.uk/preston/) for event 555 and the results from that day can be seen at https://www.parkrun.org.uk/preston/results/555/.

It’s a 3-lap route around Avenham and Miller Parks on tarmac paths running alongside the River Ribble and taking in THE HILL OF DOOM (as described on Strava!) 3 times. It was a 50th milestone for one of our group who, today, ran with the camera. A bit of a murky and damp morning but we all enjoyed being back here in with all the 485 finishers

There was something undoubtedly wrong with the GPS data recorded as there is definitely not a drop of 147 metres from the start to the finish (they’re on the same level!!) and the course is 3 exact same laps so the route on the video is wrong. Perhaps the watch had over-indulged over Christmas…

Many thanks to all the friendly volunteers who enabled us to participate. Enjoy the video!
