HELLO. Had an amazing day, been inactively trying to learn how to jump for a year or so now and I think it finally clicked today – at least on these mellow lipped table tops. I learned to bunny hop a while back, and a lot of the technique stems from it with these small jumps that don’t have much of a lip.
(Thank you to Ben Cathro/Pinkbike and his video “Make Jumping Easier)
I’m looking for any general advice/things to think about for my progression, especially when it comes to jumps that have a steeper lip and have a longer distance from lip to landing. I don’t think I’d be nearly as confident on something that has a larger distance and would love some pointers on how to get that extra distance. Even on these smaller ones I was having some trouble getting the distance I need, I came up a little short in this video and it was 50/50 whether I was a little short or just perfect with the distance in my attempts. More speed? More of a pop?
THANK YOU! Excited to keep working on it 😁
