now it’s a new 145 mile cycle route celebrating the beautiful Kent and Sussex Countryside and this week our sports reporter James dun has set out on his bike to complete the entirety of the KY way having already taken in Canterbury than at deal and Dover this morning he set off from Folkston on the final leg traveling down through the Romney Marsh and Ry with the aim of reaching the Finish Line in the village of why near Ashford later today well I’m here in Rye Harbor as you may remember there was a yellow weather warning in place earlier today but it was a bit wet and wild round by dungeoness generally it seems to be pretty clear and the good news is I’ve got some company for this afternoon’s ride I’ve got Alex morphett here and James morett both tour guides who run cycling tours here in Kent so the county way Alex is there much interest in it a huge amount of Interest people who love leure cycling and love traffic free routes on bike passs and uh bridleways and back roads this route has it all so we get people from the United States also from Europe and Australia and also people here in the UK who want to come out and enjoy Leisure cycling and beautiful day and it’s got a lot to offer hasn’t it a really diverse landscape yeah hugely diverse I mean you got the sea on either sides in the middle you’ve got beautiful fields and forests that you can ride through it’s fantastic here known as The Garden of England so it’s got everything you need I’m looking forward to riding the rest of it with you two guys luckily the weather doesn’t look too bad and hopefully we will get to why this afternoon and we’ll find out how James gets on in our program at 6:30 now Sophia is here with the weather for us um sfia James has done quite well avoiding the rain so far hasn’t he will his Luck run out at some point it definitely has been a wet Affair as you can see from our weather watcher picture here plenty of heavy rain around in eastborn now I’m afraid James there may well be some rain to hit you at some point so let’s take a look at the week ahead
