Need some help with a loose chain

I accidentally knocked my Brompton C Line electric over and the chain popped off the sprockets. I tried to simply put it back in place but the… Jockey wheel doesn't seem to be stiff enough so if I back pedal, the chain comes off?

It started to rain so I folded it up and it wouldn't fold properly either because of it
