Hi everyone, it’s erem. I hope you’re having a great summer and that you’re lucky enough to visit cities that have caches or other second-hand shops that sell video games. That’s what I do. For the past two years, I’ve been filming my shopping reports, and today I’m going to share with you all my finds during my Tour de France. erem travels! Further than night and day. No, not really, but erem is traveling to Nancy for the first time in his life. A city remarkable for its architecture, like, “No, I don’t know anything about it.” I was just visiting friends. And like in every new city I discover, I pull up Maps and type in Cach. Imagine my surprise when I saw three shops in the city center within a 5-minute walk. You can’t beat the number of caches in Nant or the concentration of video game stores on Boulevard Volter in Paris. But I’m telling you, for a city this size, it’s more than good. We have a game cash, a cash express, and a cash play. This one is the first time I’ve heard it. Contrary to popular belief, hunting in caches can still be interesting. Very often, games are at market price, sometimes a little higher, so you’re less likely to find that rare gem than on Vinted. And yet, mistakes do happen. A bad scan, an incorrect price estimate, a game left on the shelf too long while its value continued to climb without its price being changed. Most often, we leave the cages empty-handed, but the more you visit, the more likely you are to find something that interests you. Nancy’s city center allows you to do it on foot, without making any detours, and that’s convenient. First, I went into the Game Cash. As the name suggests, it specializes in video games, so it’s rarer to find a good deal. The guys know their stuff. On the other hand, there are some interesting articles on consoles you don’t see often. Saturn, PC Engine CD, and even a 32X game. Well, I was tempted by the 3DS section. Dead or Life Dimensions complete for €10. A very good fighting game from the console’s early life. It’s not a very expensive game on the market, but if you pay for it on sites, you quickly pay double with shipping. It’s still interesting, especially since I was looking for it. In the United States, the US version of this game costs much more second-hand. Over there, 3DS-wise, they’re on another planet. But in Europe, we often follow the trend with a lag. So, I bought it for €10 like that, no regrets. If it ever goes up, I followed a similar logic by buying StarFX 0 on Wii U in the Express cash. This game is not a marvel, it is not very sought after, but I think that will change when collectors will become interested in the Wii U again. There are very few games left that have not yet been ported to Switch, but Star Fox Z0 is one of them. It is one of the last Wii U exclusives of 2016 and I do not want to find myself having to pay 50 bucks for it in 5 years like it has become the case with Game Wario. So I got it here for 10 €. Usually, it is not much more but I was happy to come across a real French version without the disgusting German PEG. At the time, most copies were sold in a bundle with Starfox Guard. So, they standardized the packaging for several countries. You know, it’s like for Twight Princess HD, as it was sold with the wolf friend. So, if you had to choose who didn’t have the rest of the bundle, you might as well just get the basic version. Express cash games mostly make money from phone sales. So, sometimes, they’re less picky about game prices. Here, I found some good prices on Gamecube and PS1. Unfortunately, the games I was interested in didn’t have instructions. So, I passed. We’ll finish with cash play. And that, on the other hand, is specialized, but really, really a lot. There were Neo Gos and even a PC Engine GT. And like many Elitis stores, the price is pretty close. Get ready to buy. Your Nintendo games are 50% more expensive than elsewhere. On the other hand, there’s a complete Astonia Story on PSP that caught my eye at €19. I’m not a big fan of Tacticol RPG anymore, but I found this one addictive when I pirated it a few years ago. However, if you have a pirated version, there’s a little scene with a big-headed character who tells you that it’s not right not to pay for these games. So out of curiosity, I wanted to retest it on an official version. The context around the game is interesting. Unlike 99% of RPGs that were made in Japan, this one comes from South Korea and was released on a Korean console called the GP32, almost unknown here. On PSP, we got this remaster. In total, across three stores, I bought three games, one in each, it’s not huge. And at the same time, for me, today, yes. I’ve been going to thrift stores and second-hand stores for years . Most of the games I’m looking for are either too expensive or I’ve already found them. I have new ones that get added to my wish list as I discover them in YouTube videos. But the more time passes, the harder it becomes to stumble upon something I really want to buy. It’s not like when you just got a 360 or a PS2 and you still have dozens of games for €3 to get. As you can see, depending on your gaming profile, these stores will or won’t be for you. My solution to continue finding interesting games is to never stop being interested in new games. I can hear you saying, “Yes, well, the countryside is fine for 2 minutes, but when do you visit a city at €20,000 per square meter ? Well, right away then. Let’s go to the capital and for this day in Paris, I won’t be alone since I’m in the company of Ace Bunny. Hello everyone, how are you? Paris, city of light, of vébum beats the balls. We’re only interested in Easy Cash today since we’re not going to visit any of the big specialized video game stores found in République. You know, the famous retro gaming district known for its rather high prices. No, we decided to let Maps guide us and visit all the caches. All the caches in Paris with XBY, you can find good prices there except on the Philip CD. The advantage of second-hand stores like Cash Converteur, Cash Express, Easy Cash, Happy Cash, Game Cash or Mercato is that you can find old video games there and sometimes the sellers don’t know anything about them. So, you can get some good deals. I thought that lately, I’d been praising the shops in Japan a little too much, whereas in France alone, there’s already enough to have fun if you know what to look for. You know, our regions have talent. Even if, of course, you shouldn’t expect to find the same items. The grass is always greener elsewhere. We get stars in our eyes when we find cartridges in Japan for €3. Whereas for a Japanese person, it’s already more of an attraction. In the same way that for us, an Xbox game for €3 in a cash register leaves us indifferent. But imagine a Japanese person, no, maybe not a Japanese person, but an American, who came to our place and saw what we can find for less than 5 bucks in our shops, they would be amazed. But it wouldn’t be in the Super Nintendo or Sega Saturn section, that’s for sure. In fact, now when I see the prices of very retro games in France, it doesn’t make me want them at all. Afterwards Japan, everything that came out before the 2000s, I no longer have the budget. On the other hand, where France shines is for everything that came out after. If you exclude the Gamecube, there is enough to make a beast of a collector on each console. And I want to hear anyone tell me that a PS2, a PSP, an Xbox 360, a Wii or a DS, they are not amazing consoles. Generally, people wake up too late. It is only once the prices have increased that they realize that in fact, they loved a console and they would have bought games on it again. So don’t wait any longer and scrutinize all the second-hand shops in your area. Paris has the advantage of having plenty of them, but they’re quite far apart. So to visit them all, allow at least a full day and get a Navigo pass because otherwise it’s going to cost you a lot in metro tickets. And even with public transport, you’re going to be walking a lot. Your feet will be sore if you’re not used to hiking. So prepare yourself physically beforehand. I’m kidding, it’s not that I’m sedentary, that day, I took 30,000 steps. But it was worth it. We visited about twenty stores with my treasure hunter colleague, and the two of us give each other strength. It helps you stay motivated and have a cameraman filming you as you walk around town. Sometimes between two caches, we even came across real video game stores. But who knows why, they were always closed. Bad point Paris, second retro game store closed. And yes, well listen, the moral of the story is, they’re not wearing their vibe well, but retro gaming stores are playing hide and seek. So we’re going to continue with another one. And yes, we can trust them. It’s true that we can trust them. We bought a lot of games that we’ll show you as soon as I’m tired of talking about Paris. In Paris, in fact, you find all kinds of stores, including Escromania, but it’s still worth going in, if only to see if they have any new games to clear out, because their used games, as you know, are not good deals. We’re in the middle of a Bookof in Japan. Oh, but what do I see? I didn’t know they existed in France, but it turns out that the Bookof has crossed the ocean. There are some in Paris. On the other hand, the logo is blue and it’s not a super bazaar. And inside, it’s more goatee. But still, it brought back memories to see some of them well wrapped in plastic. It’s not great in terms of waste, but it’s still better than the bullet holes in the caches that stick the price tag directly on the box. It’s too annoying to remove and it leaves a lot of glue on the jacket. My advice, apply a little WD40 on the stain. Oh, a Hard Corner DVD. And we finally found a real retro store outside the Republic that wasn’t closed. Well, we quickly left when we saw the prices. But it’s true that there are some crazy things you can find like a 32X or a boxed multimega. For everything else, we go back to the caches. But first, we’re going to eat because good deals make you hungry. Here, to remind me of Japan, I had lunch in a Japanese restaurant in Korea. And since you can tell me I don’t have much left to say, we’ll move on to my shopping report. So, it’s not just limited to this day with Ace Bunny. In the meantime, I happened to stumble upon one of these shops in Paris again. But the bulk of my finds were really during our cache tour. Let’s start with the big ones. A modded GBA with a backlit screen for €80. I knew that one day I was going to have my original GBA modded because I love its ergonomics compared to the SP. In this case, I think the express cache at Gare Lyon just mistook it for a standard GBA given the price. So I’m happy, it saved me time and money compared to if I had to do all the tinkering with a pro. On DS, I found the first Professor Leton for 10 bucks. That’s not bad for getting back into the swing of things before the next one. And Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate €10 too. I’m not really a fan of the series, but I like to try out new games for my Circle Pad Pro. We’re going to Microsoft with Project Gotham Racing 2 at €3, Project Gotham Racing 3 at €4. I don’t know the series at all so I wanted to try it. Especially since the 3 is a 360 launch game. Look at the 001 on the spine. And I like launch games. The Trials HD Limbo Explosion Man triple pack at €10. That’s so good. It’s the only way to get these games physically. And I was surprised, the disc is backward compatible with Series X, that’s three icons on the menu. Titan Fold, that’s a game Xbox One and yet it had a 360 port which is technically pretty good, apparently. So for €1 I let myself be tempted and what’s more, inside, there was still a free 2-day Xbox Live Gold trial code. Except that since it no longer exists, it gave me 2 days of Game Pass Core. So good deal. Rise €5 because it was the big launch exclusive for the Xbox One and there was also an unused Live Gold code. Are you serious? Do you give a damn about free gifts? Did you know? Rise had a sequel. Tales of Arise. It tempted me and at €13 it was a good price. In fact, the store made a mistake and slapped a Tales of Vesperia label on it. We’re moving on to Sony with the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. I wanted it on the PS4 because it’s the current controller that has the best cross in my opinion. €18 at Micromania. Sorry, but as for this one, I couldn’t find it cheaper elsewhere with the box in French. Guitar Hero Metallica for €7. I got a PS2 guitar a while back, that’ll give me an excuse to get it out. On PS3, I indulged my launch game fetish with three games released day one in Europe at the same time as the console. Resistance Fall of Man €2, Formula One €2 and Need for Speed Carbon €10. This one, I surprised you, it’s not normally cheap. Caches, they know how to delight us sometimes while other times the prices make you wonder. So, you take out your phone to compare online and then you find an ad on Vined or Le Bon Coin that’s three times cheaper. So, you look at the seller’s other items and you see that he has other games that interest you and bam, you negotiate a lot at a price that defies all competition. So, it doesn’t really count as a cash purchase, but in itself it does. Three times that day, I bought games on Vined while in cash. Stores actually have several advantages. By displaying certain games on their shelves, they make you think about looking at specific items online when otherwise you might never have done so and you would have missed out on a good deal. That’s how I got Untold Legends and Castlevania Lords of Shadow for €13 in total. Or to come back to Xbox, Sunset Overdrive ready and Dragon Age Inquisition Soulister for €16 per lot including shipping. But that’s the advantage of buying in water, is that diluted in each game, shipping is cheap because otherwise, of course, a game at €3 if the shipping costs as much as the game, it’s annoying. That’s the advantage of caches for anything that is games under 5 bucks, is that you know you won’t find anything cheaper online. On the other hand, there are games that I couldn’t find in stores, like Sleeping Dogs definitive edition €10 on Le Bon Coin or Metro Exodus Series X €8. So the 360 version of Sleeping Dogs, you can find it everywhere, but the Xbox One version which has the FPS boost on Series, let’s remember, well I think it was only released in this cardboard edition and it’s not that widespread. At least, when I was looking for it, I couldn’t find it in any store. Same for Metro Exodus Series X version. You can find the One version everywhere which also has the next gen patch downloadable for free, eh. So it comes to the same thing. But while we’re at it, why pay the same price? I wanted the box in its next gen reissue and I could n’t find it in stores. What I did find, however, was Gravity Rush 2 and God of War Ragnarok but they’re still expensive in cash. So I was happy when I got Gravity Rush 2 down to €28 and God of War down to €20 online. All that to say, after a shopping spree in Paris, you can treat yourself. But it’s not over yet. So, it’s my turn to present my finds from our epic journey outside of République. There are lots of games, an accessory, and even some Bloray DVDs. To start, I found the first three Dirt games for the Xbox 360 in the same store for just under €20. I discovered the series with Dirt 5 on Xbox One X plus Series X and Dirt Shodun on my Steam Deck and I wanted to discover all the episodes of the license. The first Dirt learned a trick of old but frankly Dirt 2 and 3 pass the years well. We continue with a game on Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption 2. I was looking for the first on 360 with its expansion Undead Nightmare. But for 12 € we are not going to spit on one of the most impressive games to be made in 4K. And it is also one of the rare recent games that is on Blu-ray. It reminds me of the period on Gamecube with the games on two mini DBD. Group shot on two games bought in the same store as Red Dead 2 for cheap, Gears of War 2 and WWE12. The first is to replace my platinum copy of the game which is pretty ugly and the other is that I’m a wrestling fan and I missed this one at a time when I had a break not bad but I prefer the opuses released before and after this one. We arrive at a single game bought in a Micromania today, the Ori and the Wheel of the Wsp. So this one, I have a small problem, it’s that I really want to play it after having done the first one. Except that Ori and the Blind Forest, it wasn’t released in box here on Xbox. You have to import it from the United States. I could buy it on the store, do it on Game Pass or get the Switch version. But what do you want? I’m a bit stubborn this time. Back to 360. I promise, there’s not only Xbox. Sega Rally Revo. This is a game I played on the PSP and I loved the experience so I wanted to get it on console. And thanks to RM for the tip because he’s the one who saw the game in a store for €3.99. I’ll take this opportunity to mention something about our hippopé in Paris, which is that if you want to go around a video game store, it’s always nicer to do it with several people. Firstly because it makes for great outings with friends where we can talk about anything and everything, but also it allows you to have more of them to find games that everyone is looking for and avoid missing a little hidden gem. It’s also a good time for me to talk about my bloré and DVD purchases because there’s more to life than video games. Indiana Jones 3 for €12 on 4K Blu-ray, a Spielberg classic, my favorite of the three. Um, there were two movies after that. If you want to buy 4K Blu-rays, don’t hesitate to buy in Germany. They release a maximum of films in this format with VO and VF. The W DVD [ __ ] 15 years for €2 which shows the behind the scenes of the guignoles de la four in 2003 with the authors, imitators and personalities of the time who were entitled to a puppet. And to finish, Jackas 3D for €2.99 in Italian bluray because why not probably the most ambitious of the four and after viewing my favorite with Jacas Forever. So for the time being, I didn’t think I would buy an accessory during our expedition, but a very friendly seller and a price that defies all competition, I couldn’t resist for a Kinect for €3.99. Today, Kineck, we see it as a bitter failure of Microsoft, but in reality, it is 24 million of this camera that were sold. That’s not the point of the video, but don’t hesitate to find out about the history of the late Project Intal because it’s fascinating. Oh, and also in the same store, I found Des Loop for €11.99. I don’t have a PS5 but my brother has one and so, since it wasn’t expensive for a game of this generation, why not give him a gift because that’s what the passion for video games is all about. No, that’s not true, it’s to speculate to death. Next game, Alien syndrome on Yes. I don’t even know why I bought this game. It’s a shooter seen duo a bit like Dead Nation, sequel to a Sega game of the same name released in arcades in 87. I had to feel guilty for having bought too many Xboî games especially since for €4.95 it’s not necessarily the best price. Unlike Project Gotem Racing 2 in the same store for €2.95. So my copy got sunburned, but for three bucks, it’s okay, I’m not going to be a smart guy. And what’s more, it’s complete. PGRs are sequels. Spiritual of Méropolis Street Racing, a racing game from the Dreamcast and the license contains two installments, two on the first Xbox and two on Xbox 360. It’s less simulacent than a Grand Tourismo or a Forza but without being arcade. It’s a great series of games to play, I recommend it. And this purchase of the first Xbox gave me the taste to buy another racing game on the console, the first Forza Motorsport. So for your information, I love the Forza Horizon saga. I have all the installments, even the Xbox 360 version of the second installment which is very ugly yes but it’s good. So even if I’m not a fan of the Motorsport license, I wanted to have the first one in my collection and for €5.99 it’s done. And my last purchase of this day in my surprise for €2.99 is Den Central. Before this day, I would never have imagined being interested in the Kinect game console, and the collector, in addition, made a discovery as everyone hates this accessory. Kinex games on 360 are worthless. Abandon your Neo collections. The Place to be is Kinect, guys. So for once, I’m going to go much faster for this second day, which was each on our own. MGS5 The Phantom Pine on Xbox One for €7, the latest MGS product directed by Kojima. Burnout Paradise on Xbox One for €4.99. nice but I prefer Burnout 3 Takedown grouped shot of three Kinecr 3 games because I did not find the Kinect adventure and Kinect Star Wars because it is Kinect Star Wars guys games bought in another Micromania of used games for 10 € Killzone Shadow Falls launch game of the PS4 and we wonder how it managed to hit the mark with a game like that Wolfen Young Blood on Xbox One game derived from The New Colossus oriented cooperation and finally DSG on PS4 for 12 Euro 99 €. A TPS action game with motorcycles and zombies. And there is even the apprentice of the power of the force who plays the good guy. To conclude this video of our tour of the caches in Paris, I would say that my foot hurts I would say that the main difference between going to République and going around Paris is the games that you will find. If you are looking for games from before the 2000s, except the PlayStation, you will be disappointed. However, if you’re looking for games from the 2000s and 2010s, you’ve come to the right place. There are plenty of games priced between €5 and €15, or even much less. And we’re talking about caches and other shops in Paris. We didn’t go to the shops on the outskirts, and even less so to the caches in other regions. You may have noticed, but in this video, I primarily bought games for Xbox consoles. The reason is simple: the games are cheaper than their PlayStation and Nintendo equivalents. This can be triple the price, especially on the URPS2 Gamecube Xbox. So, if you’re on a budget, it’s excellent value for money. I really enjoyed this trip to Paris, but I must admit that one of the big advantages of République is that all these shops are nearby and there’s a variety in the game selection, which explains why the area is popular with gamers from Île-de-France. But why not do this type of expedition again one day in another city in France or even elsewhere? Ace Bunny let loose by touring the world of caches. We wish him good luck, but for that, he needs your support, so go check out his content. Well, “mat” isn’t the right word, he does podcasts, so you won’t need your eyes. Backup Memory Cartridge is his show that he hosts with other retro gamer friends, and once I was even invited. There’s the link in the description. I hope you enjoyed this different video format and that we gave you some ideas for games to buy. The sun is setting over Paris, it’s already time to leave us. So, I’ll leave you in front of the Montparnas station with a pianist I hired for the occasion. Thanks to your donations, RM travels, further than night and day. For a trip after Nancy, Paris, and Tokyo, here is Bordeaux. I have spent a weekend there for the very first time and now you know for me, tourism also rhymes with tour of the caches. That’s the only way I judge the interest of a city. Who cares about weird monuments, waterfronts, somersaults, wild concerts, Spider-Man, rue Sainte-Catherine or whatever. Catherine is a video game and that’s it. No, I was looking for game stores and I got what I needed. I was going to be able to make Abce Bunny angry and prove to him who knows the best treasure hunter in the YouTube game. What? You don’t know Isb? It’s with him that we toured the cages of Paris. Well, today, he’s not here. I didn’t want him to steal all the good prices. So he’s probably moping in his bed. So like that, we think we’re the only one traveling, going on weekends. I have Gamecube and Kinect full sets to finish. Mr. Erem. I’m also going away for the weekend. I went to Lyon for WWE and Smackdown. Not only was it super cool, I saw R Mysteio my friend, but you have no idea how many shops there are. Yeah, Lyon looks awesome compared to Bordeaux. Oh yeah, you want a fight? That’s it. See you at Gar du Nord. Come on, city battle. I’ll start. In Bordeaux, there’s not only the center. If, like me, you have a private driver thanks to YouTube money, you can even visit the few caches on the outskirts to the west. Within a 15-minute drive, you have three. I present to you the Easy Cash in Méignac. It’s big, it’s a change from the small shops in the city center. That’s the advantage of going a little further away. In commercial areas, in large parking lots, there’s much more space. I was surprised by the number of consoles on sale. Game Boys, Nintendo DS, PSP, Vita, lots of boxed machines too for not too much money with games included. We’re glad, the Vita section offered something other than Lego games. Hello, the little Jack and Dexter trilogy for €80. There’s Rockband 4 PS4 sold with its guitar for a good price if you’re interested and it ‘s still not gone. It’s one of my favorite rhythm games, so I recommend it. Oh, a Gamecube steering wheel. In this store, I only bought Ratcha Clank Nexus for €22. It’s been intriguing me for a long time because it’s one of the last Sony games on PS3, since it came out the same month as the PS4. Back in the car, heading for the Saint-Medd-en-Jal app. Yes, that’s the real name of the town. There was a large stock of PlayStation 1 games. It’s quite rare to see so many in one store, but as is often the case, the PS1 section is a bit of a mess. Very damaged cases and of course no Suicoden or Castlevania on the horizon. But a good store overall. There was a selection on Xbox 360, PS3, Gamecube. I just didn’t understand why there was a whole collection of Philips video game packs. On Megga Drive, it wasn’t bad either, but I’m past the age of buying games for more than €30. So I set my sights on Forza Motorsport 4 at €2, the Prince of Persia reboot at €5 and Motorstorm Arctic Edge at €9. For this one, it’s not a particularly good price. It can be found cheaper in stores but rarely in such good condition in a French version with the instructions and not in platinum or disgusting essential. Then I went shopping at Leclerc and it’s the only Leclerc in my life where I’ve come across boxed Game Boy Advance games and even Game Gear, SNES, Gamecube and Dreamcast. It’s because I was in the second-hand Leclerc section and there was plenty of choice there too. Almost all the consoles were represented. It was nice. I just got Ghost Quad, a good Unrail shooter from Sega. It was 5 bucks complete in good condition. That will give me an excuse to dust off the wizaper. Now that the suburbs are done, I’m heading to the tram to get to a much more populated area. Rue Sainte-Catherine, which proudly boasts of being the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe. We’ll see what that’s worth it. I loved it so much. In fact, Bordeaux is a land of wib. There’s almost no need to go to Japan anymore when you have so many geek shops on the same street. It brought back good memories of those shelves filled with manga figurines, the countless Japanese restaurants and Asian grocery stores of all kinds like Popo. It’s almost the same name as the supermarkets in Yakuza and inside you can find lots of food that comes from there. I was almost nostalgic to find chips with weird flavors, noodles, candy and even cans with the image of characters from King of Fighters. It was so cool this walk in the center. And I insist, it’s full of Japanese restaurants and stores. I’ve never seen that, such a concentration. Because we’re not in a specifically Asian neighborhood. It’s not Chinatown, it’s a mainstream shopping street in the heart of Bordeaux. So it’s nice to see all these products when you’re a fan of Bruce Lee’s country. I’m flying to Japan. I flew to the land of electronics and Bruce Lee to talk without complexes to the computer that makes me feel all sweet. But let’s not lose focus, as far as I know, we’re here for the caches and that’s good, just on foot, you can connect a Cash Converters, a Cash Express, an Easy Cash, a Cash Cash and even the corpse of a Game store. I don’t know how long it’s been there, but it should be buried. It’s starting to smell like maggots in the Cash Converter City on Rue Sainte-Catherine, I was able to notice once again that the people of Bordeaux clearly worship the Philips video pack. I assure you, it wasn’t just that. The store is smaller, but you can find gems like this Mario Kart Double Dash for €13. Well, I already have it, so I headed towards other racing games. Need for Speed Nitro exclusive: Yes, if you don’t count the DS version. Did you know? It’s the only Wii game that uses the analog triggers of the Wii Classic Controller. I found it for €3. Then Quantum Red Shift, a futuristic racing game exclusive to Xbox made by former Wipeout players. For €4, I wanted to try it. A quick lunch break, I ate a Japanese pancake. Okay, I admit, I don’t know how traditional it is. I never came across one during my trip to Japan last year. But it’s fun to eat this sweet and savory mix while the restaurant plays Jop or even the OST of The Winwaker. Continuing down the street, I reached Cash Express and was surprised to come across two Japanese PC Engine games, a Chrono Trigger DS, and even a dual-screen Game and Watch. Otherwise, there were Blu-rays. Be careful, cashception, the first store of the day where I didn’t buy anything. There was a selection but it wasn’t in my budget. Another food break because I’m a big lar, and it’s dangerous to shop on an empty stomach. We finished with Easy Cash, which didn’t look like much until I came across the first NIR at €4. Okay, it’s an English version, but at that price, it’s still crazy. Same for Deadly Premonition at €6. It was the intern who labeled these games, it’s not possible. Then I let myself be tempted by the PS2 version of Guitar Hero 3 at €2 and Gunpay on PSP at €3. It’s a puzzle game created by Gunpay Okoy, the inventor of the Game Boy, the Virtual Boy, and the Wonders One. And I actually thought the GoPay game was a Wonders One exclusive. So, I’m curious to see this PSP version running. Well, I’ve made the region’s economy go round. I spent money in almost every store. Result: 11 games, €65. Who can beat that? Well, my friend, my bare-bones weekend was meticulously planned to do as much as possible in a minimum amount of time. Unlike my friend who lives off YouTube currency, we podcasters are the true proletarians of retro gaming, which means public transport. And Lyon’s is really very simple to understand. It’s four metro lines, seven network lines, and numerous buses. Visiting Lyon without car is really disconcertingly easy when you take the Paris metro. Oh, they also have République but it’s not at all a gaming area. During our expedition to Paris with Arem where we visited the cages of the capital, it took us a whole day to do half of our list because it was such a pain. Now, in a little over 4 hours, I was able to visit about ten stores including three in the Lyon metropolitan area and it’s the right time to tell you about them. Our adventure begins in the second arrondissement of Lyon which is where a large part of Lyon’s gaming stores are concentrated. The first store was a cash conviner on rue Victor Go. And it started badly because I didn’t buy anything there. The selection of games was quite poor and the prices quite high. Enough to discourage my compulsive buyer soul. And was Rem right? Would Bordeaux be better than Lyon for gaming? But against all expectations, a blue sign with the letter M was installed right next to it. So it will be literally 15 meters from the cash converter that I will make my first purchases in a good old family Micromania. The Order 1886, a TPS technical demo of the PlayStation 4. Judge magnificent but very short. Code Vine on Xbox One, a souls-like auquettier from Namko Bandai and Kinec 360 games, The Lapqetin goes live and Fighter un Cage. Given the prices, you wonder why you bought them, but that weekend it was Micromania offers. Two games purchased for €10 on PS4, Xbox One and €5 on PS360. Total cost of this operation, €15. We’re recovering well, we continue our journey with an Easy Cash on rue de la barre. And what do I see? jevideéo.fr But let’s start with Easy Cash, a nice little easy cash in the neighborhood, not very big but with a very decent selection of games. I bought two games there: Project Gotham Racing 3 on Xbox 360 for €4.99, which RM had found during our tour of Paris, and Sport Island Freedom for Kinect for €2.99. A Sunsup game, of which I only know the soundtrack, which is truly excellent. We’re not bad there. And right next to this Easy Cash, there’s an authentic independent video game store named after a website that’s now dead and buried. There’s a really nice selection of games at somewhat premium prices, of course, and sorry. Ori and the Blight Forest Definitive Edition on Xbox One for €49.99. As I said in the previous video, I was looking for this game and I never thought I’d find it here in Lyon. 50 bucks isn’t cheap, but that’s generally the price you’ll pay for the purchase and then the import from the United States. I jumped at the chance and this will be the only game in this store that I highly recommend you visit. The next store was a Micromania vu Grenette, a bigger one than the last one, but I didn’t find anything there so I quickly went to the other independent store in the area, Game Spirit. Located at the Jean Moulin shopping center, it’s a video game store and much more. You could buy arcade games. There are also board games and playing cards for sale. It’s a very diverse store. I set my sights on two games: Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare in its PlayStation 2 version for €9.90 and the remake of Bionic Commando on 360 for €6.90. We Parisians would tend to keep Boulevard Voltaire AK République as the retro gaming district. Well, I think the Bellecour Cordelier axis can serve as a gaming hub in Lyon. If there are any Lyonnais watching the video, am I right or am I wrong? Feel free to say so in the comments. While waiting for your answers, it’s time for me to leave the second arrondissement of Lyon towards the suburbs in VilleOrorbone where a Cash Express was waiting for me right next to the metro. I’ll be quick, I found games there. Forza Motorsport 2 bundle copy version for €4.99 and especially Donkekung Juggon Beat for €29.99. RM often mentions it in these videos and I’m finally going to try it. As I leave the store, I see a cash express, I head there and it’s closed. It was past noon, much to my regret. Oh well, I told myself. The other shops were waiting for me. So I decided to stop at the Par Dieu shopping center in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement, which can be compared to Châtely Léal, where there’s a Micromania. Ah, it’s not easy. It was a tough choice between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 4. There would only be one game purchased, and it was on clearance. Wide Hearts on Xbox Series for €9.99. The astonishing union of Electronic Arts and Omega Force. I wanted to make a detour to the WWE pop-up store to buy some goodies. I quickly sang along in front of the crowd, so I quickly left for the next store. A cash converter on Avenue George Jor in the 7th arrondissement, which was all about wrestling. The Scorpion King on Gamecube, the game adaptation of the film with The Rock for €7.90, W Hardcore Revolution on Dreamcast, which I only bought for the wrestling-related game for €9.90, and Smackdown Versus R 2007 on Xbox 360. I’ve been looking for this one for ages because it’s the first SVR to come out on an Xbox console and in high definition, and I found it for €1.90. Thank you, sports games that cost nothing. Wrestling is not a sport. And our journey ends in a built-up area, a wouln where, by the greatest of coincidences, a flea market is taking place. Hence the absence of video, I apologize. Despite the obstacles, I headed into the last brutal, a dungeon. There’s a cash game. So, I didn’t expect it, but in the same street, there’s a game cash literally right in the main street of Oulin Beert Benit. And Benny was this find because I made some great purchases there. Dark Chronicle, sequel to Dark Cloud, a level 5 JRPG exclusively on PlayStation 2 for €19.99 and Game Gear games in loose. Castle of Illusion in its Japanese version for €6.99 and Ax Bler to Legend of Golden Ax for €19.99. Yes, this one stings a little. A very nice surprise with a great team like all the stores I visited, by the way. And finally the last store, a cash converter who for the occasion was offering discounts on their products. And so for a total of €20, I bought the Wii version there because I was curious to see the port of one of my favorites on 360 Colin Macret 2004 on Xbox. Along the same lines, I wanted to see the origins of dirt and, nothing to do with it, the Tomb Raider Legend in its Gamecube version. Well, I would have made shops. There will be a total of 21 games for a final amount of 221.42, or an average of about €10.50 per game. I spent without counting that day, but we must not forget that it was a unique opportunity, because in addition to feeding my insatiable thirst for game purchases, it allowed me to visit Lyon and its surroundings. A very nice city, a little more on a human scale compared to Paris, even if I only stayed there for less than 48 hours. And I thank Esther PG from RM’s Discord who advised me to visit the two independent stores that are Gpirit and jevideéo.fr. And thank her because without that, I would not have had my Ris and Blight Forest on Xbox One in a wooden version. Thank you, thank you, stop shouting. I remind you that we have a lot of boomers on this retro channel. You’re going to give them a heart attack. Anyway, they already had a heart attack when they saw that our retro purchases were Xbox 360s and not Mega Drives or Super Nintendos. In any case, thanks Ace Benny for showing us your purchases. You’re welcome, RM. And I’m redirecting the audience to another of your podcasts, New Game Plus, where you talk retro gaming with other retro gamer friends. I may have 50 YouTube channels, but he has just as many podcasts. Come on, listen to this. What? You’re having an epileptic fit from the cities that are happening so quickly. Okay, let’s slow down. So, some more meditative shopping . Hi everyone, it’s RM. Today, we’re going shopping in Savoie. Do you know what that is? In the summer, we are forced to go see the family to find out about it, as far as I am concerned, It’s cool, there are mountains and lakes, but I’ve known these landscapes for a while, so it’s a little less of an attraction. So to mix business with pleasure, I stopped in a few caches on my way to Ansy. It’s not in the center, eh, but anyway in these little towns, you have to quickly have a car to not be too handicapped in your travels. I found a store called Parlon Cash where I found a lot of games and especially a lot of retro games on Super Nintendo, on PS1, on Saturn. There were games [ __ ] so it was very varied. There is Gamecube and sorry it shakes a little because I don’t ask the sellers for permission to film. So I do it a little discreetly. Look at the US PS1 games with the long box format because yeah if I get a remark about no you shouldn’t film you know know the age it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission there are even DS games and quite rare games that you don’t often see in stores. So it really looked like a real video game store when in fact no it was a second-hand store that also sold lots of other stuff. And that’s the advantage of not being in the city center, is that the store is much bigger. Inside, I found Deadpool Live 3 because retro gaming is getting more and more expensive. There are quite a few consoles on which I consider that I already have enough games and I don’t want to spend crazy amounts of money. So on Xbox, that’s where I have the most fun because you can find games for less than €5 that still have historical weight. That’s an exclusive from the first Xbox. And then they even released Dead or Life Ultimate. Well, this one is more expensive at €15. Which is also exclusive but is a compilation, a port of Dead or Life Alive 1 and Dead or Life Alive 2. So like that, I have the first trilogy on the first Xbox and I think it’s also backward compatible with the Series X. So it’s perfect. What’s funny is that Dead or Life Alive 1 and 2 are on two separate discs. However, they’re not on two separate manuals. Look, on one side, it’s Dead or Life Alive 1 and bam, you turn it over, it’s Dead or Life Alive 2. I find that funny. But there were also plenty of games from the 7th generation, PS3 games that were really good value. Virtua Tennis 4 was cheap. We tend to love Sega’s arcade games on the PS2 Dreamcast generation, but we shouldn’t forget those from the PS3 generation. So, I wanted to test this 4th episode especially since look on the edge, it is compatible with PlayStation Move. And now, I’m going back to the PS3 and I want to test games that are compatible with the PS Move accessory. So that’s also why I took Sports Champion for 1 €. I had tested the demo, it looked a lot like Wi Sport but with a fairly increased precision thanks to the PS Move technology and then with graphics that aimed for realism. It was beautiful in HD. I took the navigation controller. So it’s not the PS Move but it’s the thing that you used with the PS Move as a Nounchuk. So, it’s not very sought after because on PS4, you can use the PS Mov PS3 for PSVR games, but there the navigation controller, it’s useless. So it’s really only for PS3 games. But there are some games where you use a joystick to move, like Kill Zone and the PlayStation Move to aim. Except that rather than playing with a Dual Shock 4, or rather a Dual Shock 3 that you hold with one left hand, well, it’s better to have the navigation controller for €10. I was looking for it, it was a good price so I got it. And then, still heading towards a shopping center that housed an easy cash machine inside, which I rushed to explore after checking that my video setup in the mirror was discreet. Once again, sorry for the tremors, we do what we can. Inside, there was less choice of course because it’s inside a shopping center, so it’s smaller. There are fewer consoles, fewer games, really retro, but I was still surprised to see games from the first Xbox, PS2, older games downstairs, you see PS1, a little NES, but at a New 3DS at €110 but especially, look at that, Zelda 3 and especially Fantasy Star Master System in full, €80 anyway, but it’s not the kind of game that we often see like Fast Racing Neo. It’s the original Wii U version of the game that you may know as Fast RMX on the Switch. It was my very first Switch game. So historically, it’s a game that matters to me. It was never released physically on Switch. It was first released as a DMAT on Wii U. And there, I found it in a box for €18 because later, they made a physical version on disc. So, I’m always pretty wary when I buy physical Wii U games. I wouldn’t have taken the risk of buying it in a Micromania because the games on Wii U are often unreadable. The format isn’t very good quality. Okay, it’s okay, I took it, it worked. The opportunity to see the demos of the store that closed, eh. So it’s no longer useful and I like to see a bit of paperwork. So while I was trying to find this Wii U game, I also took a Wii Brain Academy game that I had done a long time ago, but I took it because it was €5 in a blister pack. It’s not often that you see new Wii games. And for the collection, I admit a Nintendo First Party game on the Wii, completely new. I thought it was funny. It gave me a memory of this store. I took the car. And it wasn’t me who was driving, otherwise I wouldn’t have filmed. This time heading towards Exbain, a smaller town than Ancy but very pretty too. There’s what you need in terms of mountains and lakes and in terms of shops, there’s a cash express which was less stocked in terms of retro games than the other shops I’ve visited previously, especially PS3 bins. In truth, I didn’t see much of interest, but on the other hand, there was something that surprised me, it was the Game Boy Advance wireless adapter that was sold with Pokémon, Leafgreen and Firered to be able to exchange Pokémon for the first time and fight wirelessly. I already had one but when you have one, well you need a second one to be able to communicate. So since I have a GBA linker, I’m finally going to be able to test this wireless feature that I had already tested at the time with a friend, but now I wanted to maybe potentially see the other games that are compatible with this wireless adapter because there aren’t just Pokémon games. But I have to dig deeper into the question. And that’s all I saw in the store to know there. I’m walking down an alley in Exlébin because I thought it was cute. I could have gone to Chambéri too but I didn’t have time. There’s also a Cach Express in the city center there. I saw that there was a garage sale. I went there but I didn’t find anything. It was really shit. But so, with a few shops, I was able to give my Wii U, my PS3, and my Xbox something to eat. So I’m pretty happy. I’ll leave you with this beautiful image of the lake and the Dent du Chat, and I hope you enjoyed this little shopping capsule in Savoie. If I say Nant, what do you think of? The giant elephant and the rest of the machines? But no, we don’t care about that. Nant is the only city center I know that has four second-hand shops within a radius of less than a 5-minute walk. There’s a Game Cash, a Cash Express, a Happy Cash, an Easy Cash, and then an Escromania and a Fnac. But we don’t care about that. In short, I’ve never seen such a concentration of shops. Even Kylian comes from Japan to do his second-hand shopping. I confirm, it was worth the €1,000 round-trip plane ticket. Okay, now let’s eat. I’ve been taking notes every time I buy games in town for 12 months. And now, it’s time to give you an overview of everything I’ve found over the past year. I’ve bought about ten games spread across multiple console generations. However, I don’t go there that often since the sections I’m interested in aren’t updated much. So I’m too lazy to rummage through them every week. And then, in terms of rummaging, I already gave to Japan last year. I have so many games that I’m not lacking. So I only go into stores. If it’s on my way, I pass by the center, but I go there more deliberately. All that to say that I could have found a lot more things if I went there often. Now, I’ve been there like every month. But that’s already enough to see some crazy stuff. Look, a Game Boy limited edition Metallica Final Fantasy 6 in all its forms. A cache in a cache once again valid and a Neo Go X which definitely does not appeal to anyone since it has been lying around for over a year. But what I really bought was Sonic 3 the cartridge for 10 € since I already have the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge, I could finally fit them together to make the biggest 16-bit Sonic. Mikox is going to be happy. Still on cartridge but next generation on Nintendo 64, I found Tonic Trouble. I don’t know if many people know, it’s a game made by Ubisoft and when you look at it, it looks a lot like Reman 2 and in fact, it seems that it’s the premises of the gameplay and the vast majority of the design ideas of Ran 2. Since Tony Trouble came out before, I haven’t had the opportunity to test it yet but if Ran 2 is so famous, it’s perhaps also because they practiced before and they wiped the plasters with this game. I can’t wait to see what it’s worth when I’ve done the 300 other more priority games on my list. On PS3, I took Sports Champions 2 at 50 cents. You saw that in my last assessment in Savoie, I had bought several games at PS Move. Well, that’s in line, I’m not ruining myself, it’s fine. On PSP, in an express stamp, there was a bin with lots of ultra discounted games. I found Loco for €3 in a box. But then almost mint, it looked like the game had just been unboxed, the plastic was so soft and it was perfect. There are several games like this that are rare to be mentioned that weren’t in the Platinum edition. And to stay on the PSP, another game I found in another store is Segaralias Segarali Revo which is a sort of reboot of the series. It’s not worth the first episode of the series which remains my favorite on Saturn, but it’s still a very good game with nice graphics, even on PSP and quite pleasant driving while drifting on the ground. At €6 I recommend it. Also at €6, I found Tken 3D on 3DS. I don’t even remember when I bought it. I haven’t even had the chance to launch it yet, so I don’t know what it’s worth, but it will go well with the Dead or Dimensions that I have in my collection. We’re moving on to the Switch and this might surprise more than one person, but I got the Hul Warriors Definitive Edition for €40. So not the Herule Warriors with the Breath of the Wild engine, the Age of Calamity or whatever . This is really the first episode that comes from the Wii U. Except that on Switch, there’s bonus content that came from the 3DS, there’s DLC, I think, and above all the game runs at 60 fps, which wasn’t the case on the Wii U. So, we don’t say that enough about this definitive version on Switch, but let’s be clear, whether it’s at 30 or 60, it’s still crap. It’s just that I saw that it was a game released quite early in the Switch’s life and that was starting to get a little popular on the networks. So I saw it in a shop and some time later, I saw on the internet that yeah, it was like 50, 60 € or even more. Sometimes, I said to myself, well when I go back to the city center, if it’s still there, I’ll buy it. And in the cache in question, I guess it didn’t interest many people because when I went back days later, it was still there. I saw €40, I saw that it was a good price. Come on, for the love of 60 fps and for my retirement. We continue with the chapter you’re all waiting for. Of course, the best consoles for collecting these days, the Xbox with Forza Motorsport 1 on the first Xbox at €7. A normal price, but the game is in good condition, not in a stupid edition, I’m happy. On the other hand, forget right away the idea of playing it on a Series X or whatever. All racing games with officially licensed cars, you forget. So it’s mainly on the Xbox 360 that I’ll play it because it’s backward compatible with a large part of the games on the first Xbox. Speaking of 360, Most 20 in its version, I mean 360 but there was twice a game called Need for Speed Most 20 out of 36. This is the one from the launch of the machine, the one that is the most sought after of the two. In fact it was my first Need for Speed at the time on Gamecube. A lot of affection for this game. I saw it at 7 €. In addition, I already have the game but not on me currently because I have different pieces of my collection spread between several cellars. I did not have the game on hand. So there, I said to myself, go ahead, I’ll buy it again, it’s a good price. And then when I was little and I didn’t have a next gen console yet as they said, the PS3 made me want it a little but the 360 was already available. I had friends who had it and I think it was on Game One that I saw images of the first Naruto game made by Ubisoft in action adventure mode. Naruto Rise of the Ninja. At the time, Naruto was on Game One. So I wasn’t a big fan of the series, but when I was waiting for my South Park episodes sometimes I came across it. I really don’t know much about it but I already remember that at the time I found the game magnificent. It was the period when I was not yet very used to HD and there this cel shading rendering, I found it splendid. So even I who was not necessarily a fan or at least an aficionado of this universe, well the game made me want it just for that. So there at 5 balls, I took it in the happy and in the same happy, there was also its sequel Naruto the Broken Born which is also an action adventure game. So it’s cool, it’s not like all the Naruto games that are just versus games so it makes me really curious to try it. The second one was also €5 but I had bought a third game in this store. I don’t remember exactly which one, but there was an offer on the 36 games where you got a free game when you bought three. In any case, I often get this kind of offer for PS3 games. So tell yourself that I got three games for €10. I got Fable 3 at €6 since it’s backward compatible with Series X, I didn’t say it but Naruto games must also be licensed so that’s why you can’t play them on the new Xboxes. So you really need a 36 for that. But so Fable 3, I could do it on the Game Pass but since the Game Pass is starting to cost a lot, I secure my disk and that way, I can play it whenever I want. And the last game I found, Final Fantasy X, Lightning Returns. I played the first FF13 a lot, even though it disappointed me a lot. So its sequel, 132, I wasn’t interested at all. But this 133, it seems to change a lot of things in the gameplay. I had only tested the demo, it made me curious, especially with this day cycle system. You have to finish the game before the 13th day. It reminded me a bit of Majoras Mask. I don’t know what it’s worth. It might be crap, but on Series X it runs at 60 fps. So that’s nice. It’s backward compatible. I’m going to give it a try. €15 is a good price. And I have the impression that it’s starting to build a good reputation on the internet. There are people who are coming back to this FF13 trilogy. Sometimes on the internet I see comments from people who say, “Ah, it would be great if this trilogy came out again.” today in a remastered version” and I want to tell them “But actually it’s just that you ‘re PlayStation players because I think the whole trilogy is available on PC and the whole trilogy is backward compatible on the new Xboxes, so in itself on Series, on Xbox One, on Xbox 360. So it’s just PlayStation players who can’t play that on their modern machine. Bottom line, buy an Xbox One and you can also play Assassin’s Creed Odysseé which I paid €3 for. So it’s not a very expensive game normally but €3 I think they made a mistake eh. Tell yourself that I already had a free copy that I had picked up at my work but it was a UK version I think. So the game was only in English. Now, to play it in FR, I was ready to invest that amount. And finally on Series, but I could say on Xbox One too because it’s a bit tricky this case, Forza Horizon 4 in its version where the box was released after the release of the Xbox Series because otherwise everywhere in the caches, it just has the Xbox One graphic nomenclature and since it was optimized for the Xbox Series, they brought out this box that we see a little less often in the caches. So every time I see Forza Horizon 4 written on a slice in a store, I still check if it’s not the Series X version. And I was finally able to find it for €15. I was happy. I already had the first three Horizons in physical form. So that completes it. And as I told you, it’s the kind of series that because of the car licenses ends up being removed from the stores. So I like the idea of having it in physical form for later when it will be permanently deleted. Like currently Forza Horizon 1, 2 and 3, you can’t get them in DMAT at all. Even on Game Pass, they no longer exist. Whereas if you have the discs and you put them in your console, well then it works. And that’s all I had to present to you today. I hope you liked it. I’ll be able to give you other reviews when I visit other cities in France. Hi everyone, it’s RM and MX. Today, we’re going to review all my different purchases that I made while passing through La Rochelle and Nior because, imagine that things happened to me last weekend. No, yes, yes, lots of adventures, as the intro on my phone tells you, and you ‘re looking at his tram timetable. It reinforces your role as the jaded guest who ‘s all forced me to be here. I didn’t choose. You’re here at any time, you can interrupt me or ask me questions about my purchases. I’m going to do it. But like that, I can tell you what I did. So, I went to La Rochelle for the weekend. Oh, I took a little day off to treat myself. Nice. No, the truth is that I saw that in La Rochelle, there were three caches in positions not too far apart. I went with the car we inherited, an old wreck, and this detail will be important. We went to La Rochelle and by car, it’s the pâelins where you see when you’re used to being in big cities, transportation is easy. It’s stylish. to reach places. There, there are the France of the Edge as we call it. Uh, if you don’t have a car, the hollow, the hollow, if you don’t have a car, you’re in trouble. So there, it allowed us to connect the caches in which I found, imagine, Salomé Saké. Do you see who Salomé Saké is? No. Oh well, she’s a left-wing girl who does economics on the internet. There are people in the chat who see who it is. Salomet Sak, I don’t see who it is. Oh really? There are some who see who it is. There are some who see? Yeah. She’s on. I e But it’s the sals there. No no, you put all the letters in a different order and it can work but very present on these days. Well, that’s it, it’s me, I’m an Arté consumer of course so it obviously speaks to me. What’s your favorite program on real life? The underside of the cards well. I I was expecting it [ __ ] a slap in the face. I love the underside of the maps. I learned the positioning of lots of countries thanks to that. Ah, Albania is here. Ah, okay. Ah [__] but France is there. France is at the center of the universe. Of course, of the universe. It’s not even the same, not the world. No, but after seeing web stars, I was especially surprised by the number of boxed Sega games you find in La Rochelle. The number of Mega Drive games, Master System games that sit proudly in the windows. I don’t know, I don’t know what that brings to mind about La Rochelle. I had the impression that it was a city of old people, a bit rich. I don’t know if it’s true, but in any case, there was some retro stuff. There were well-stocked shelves. I thought you were going to make a fashion joke, and well, there were two. No, no, really, it was full. There were things to see that I didn’t want to buy because everything was pretty much at the normal market price. That is to say €3,000. And right now I’m looking for Xbox games for €10 rather than Master System stuff for €60. Well, it’s safer, eh. I saw a lot of pretty rare PS1 RPGs, but hey, go ahead, drop 100 bucks for a PS1 game that ‘s probably scratched, no thanks. Something that surprised me too, a Super Nintendo bundle, the console with the game Donkey Kung Kun. Oh yes, that’s a very nice bundle. How much do you think it’s worth ? 300 bucks. 300 exactly. Oh, I’m too good. Exactly. Uh, but there were also a lot of Gamecube games, that’ll make you happy. Ah! 300 bucks also they weren’t cheap but there was still a pretty good selection that you don’t often see like in the shelves like that Monkey Ball 2 Jo OK it wasn’t bad good nothing less than 15 bucks like dam no well yes but that’s it and so either it was too expensive there are things that I didn’t have in my collection I ah why not but well too expensive or there weren’t the instructions and there well well too bad eh and then in addition when it’s a bit far from home, I don’t want to spend too much money and tell myself well if the game is scratched never I’ll go back to La Rochelle to get reimbursed. Yes. Then, I saw that there was an easy cage in a lecler. So, I go, take the car. And I discovered that there were Easy Cash Mytho, that is to say that there were 20 m² of Easy Cash which only had phones and tablets. Oh yeah, okay. OK. Like, you step into the store, you can take three steps and you’re at the end of the wall. Oh yeah, okay. And you know, I walk in, you see at a glance that there are no video games. It’s a Parisian studio, you know. It’s Ah, I don’t see any boxed Master System games. Goodbye. And you have the salesman who must have been happy. Oh, there’s finally someone coming. A customer, a customer. Can I help you, sir? Can I help you? I have my hand on the pepper spray. No, no, no, I’m leaving. So out of the three caches in the end, well there was one, it was a fake cache. So I went to the third one. The bandits and guess what, when I came back from the third cache, I realized that the car’s headlights were still on. Oh, I left for fifteen minutes, eh. Cit pas c’est pas beaucoup. Now the car won’t start anymore. Weird. That’s strange. Ah, problem is, it’s an old car. There were already battery problems. The 15 minutes stopped with the headlights on, that was too much for it, huh. That was that was that was too much for Titine. You say “Why go so far from home with a car like that Normally, I just go to the local clearing. Well, there were two of us so I was pushing and we tried to get out in mode well if we push it will go you know it will restart it a little. You see like in 40. Well well in addition to having created a traffic jam in the parking lot of the cach, well it didn’t start but there we had pussy, it was like 6:20 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. the garage there was a garage next door that was about to close. OK but we were able to get settled. What’s good though is that people are cool when they see you pushing a car. He must have a problem. Don’t you have the guy who honks? Like push harder because he knows that if he honks, he’ll have to help push. Yes, it’s true. On the other hand, you always have friendly passersby who are next to you like “Oh well, we’ll help you.” And honestly, imagine that pushing a car too much, it goes much faster than on your own. Oh no, stop. I assure you, I’ve experienced it. And so there, you have the mechanic who arrives with a booster. So, there was no Pokémon card in it, but it has two clamps, a small battery and in fact, it allows you to start the car directly if it runs out of battery. And like he finally puts it on and like there were zero fire dragons. There was a problem with the booster, I think, because the car started right away. Afterward, we said we’re not turning the car off, never again. We left that goddamn town and went to Nior. Oh Nior. Well, I have a friend who lives there. Big kisses. Ha, have you visited any shops in Agor? Not at all. I’ve never been there. Well, I didn’t go there with the idea of shopping, mind you. But we had an Airbnb. Ah, Agor, because there were appointments to make nearby, stuff like that. We arrived in Agnor, I was driving, well, driving, praying that the car wouldn’t stop. Drifting, so as not to waste time on every bend. So as long as we’re on the highway at 100 km/h, it’s fine. As soon as we arrive in Nior and there are red lights, you get the red light, you stop and start again. Oh no. Oh, the key is gone, it doesn’t do anything anymore. The car is in I gave it everything mode. Stop, stop. On the highway, we were still at 20 km/h. So there, I find myself at the red light. Well, we’re not moving forward. And there, the car knows, nothing’s happening. There aren’t even the little lights, quickly. No, no, nothing. Well, well, we had to push it again in the same day. There, on the other hand, there was a small hill there. So there were other people who came to us. Ah [__] we’re going up. So we were still able to park it in a parking space next to the church. And there, well, even with a booster, there’s nothing to do. There, it’s good, well, there without Raichu, that’s it. But it was already later in the evening so the garages were closed. Well, we call Mondial Assistance. By the time we eat, a trailer arrives, takes the car to the nearest garage. Well, yes, there’s something that’s probably broken in the car and the problem is that when you have a shitty car like that that’s taken away, if they tell you well there’s €400 worth of repairs to be done, well no, we’ll buy a new car. He said well keep the change, eh. You don’t want any more. So we empty all the stuff we had in the car, the bags, the papers, like well, we’re potentially going to never see it again. And we go back to the Airbnb. There, we forget it, we don’t have the car anyway, but Mondial Assistance tells us well tomorrow, uh, we ‘ll provide you with a rental car so you can get back to Nant. Oh and the advantage is that you can leave the car in a place in Nant. There’s no need to go back to Newor and all that. And we say to ourselves, well, in case we no longer need to get the car back, we leave it in Newor and at the dump. Yes. Well, that and we had planned to make some small trips around the area. So we say, well, that’s good, we have a car, we’re making the most of it. Except that they tell us, well, we’ll send you a taxi to go to the agency to go to… And so in the morning we get up, phone rings. Yeah, well, the taxi will arrive in 5 minutes, we get ready because we had all the things in the car. We get in the taxi. So the Mondial Assistance taxi is the taxi of the stars. It’s a limousine but like face-to-face face like it’s not side by side, it’s like a big van with you know tinted windows. Yes. OK. Yes. But you feel like it’s the footballers who go in there. You say to yourself we’re president. Like we have a lot of space anyway. So uh not bad huh. It was worth having the car towed. It was worth losing my car. Yeah. So and dude, we put a PS2 in the car. Well, it starts it still doesn’t start huh, but because we plugged it into the battery so it doesn’t work. So the console works but we mustn’t stop at the red light. Not good. B remember to save first though. The taxi arrives and takes us to the nearest rental agency. Yeah, let’s go. Hello. Where’s our car then? Oh yeah, your car is exactly that time. Yes, we tried to call you. Uh, actually, it was 10 a.m., it won’t be available until 5:30 p.m. Oh, and here we are in the middle of an industrial zone. What are we going to [__] for 7:30? There’s definitely a Flunch lying around somewhere. We’ll be able to eat lunch. But there’s definitely a cash register lying around somewhere with Master System games. I’m looking in this industrial zone. I see three caches accessible within a 10-minute walk. On foot, I was like, it’s a sign of destiny in fashion, and well, if I don’t buy anything, it’s because it’s not, I’m really, I’m really an idiot because I didn’t tell you, but in La Rochelle, I went to three shops, I bought a game. Ah, the famous Remember Me. Remember Me for 10 bucks. It’s the only game I bought in La Rochelle. Oh, I’m up at 5am. Well, it’s a 36-day game that’s backward compatible on the Series X, so that was getting on my nerves. It’s published by Capcom, they say, but it’s Dant Nod. They say they’re liars. Liars. It’s Dant Nod. So it’s a French, even Parisian, studio, I think, that made it. Dant, but wait, aren’t they the ones who made Life is Strange, or what? Yeah, uh, yes, there’s a way. I think it’s them. I think it’s them, huh. And uh, well, I heard about it recently because after we went on strike at Ubisoft, DNO followed suit to go on strike too. And so it’s a game that wasn’t a huge success, I think at the time, but it still has a certain reputation. No, but it’s still quite well-known because I knew the cover and when I looked on the internet, I saw that it was more like 20 bucks in its 36 version. So there, 10 bucks, that was fine. Let’s go. We’ll do it. But I said to myself it’s still a bit light to make you a video like here are my purchases. That’s all, see you next week . Luckily, life said we’ll put a few obstacles in his path so that he has some adventures to tell. And so no, that’s not it. It’s fate that said 10 € there you’re making fun of me. Hop hop hop go I’ll burn your car and you’re going to go buy me some crap there. That’s enough. I’ll give you 7:30, that should be fine. And so really find myself in the middle of his industrial zone but the probability that you’re hiding an oasis of water like in the desert. Oh a cache, that’s exactly it. But I’ve never seen that. You have a happy cash. So wait, uh, there was Easy Cash, Cash Express, Appich, and Happy Trock with the same logo. Happy. Oh, the name is crazy. Happy Truck. Happy Trock. Why is there a happy here? Why are you making a Happy Truck right next door? What’s the madness? What is Happy Truck? So like in the Happy Trock, surprised by the mass of Pokémon cards, surprised by a Neo €15. You know, these things are old, eh, next to the in fact tr it’s just app but they don’t know they don’t have internet judging they estimate the price well, well this old wicker chair €300 the neo neogo or there it’s this thing is old so troc tr that will mark you for life but you it will be my nickname on Tinder Hitrock and imagine that at Happy Trock You can do everything find all kinds of used lasses, everything except video games. You’re there, but there’s everything. There are Sonic figurines, there are Pokémon cards, there’s a real pinball machine for 1500 bucks. There are chairs, there are sofas, there are musical instruments, but there’s no video game section. In what world does that not exist? On the other hand, there were electronic games. So yeah, I didn’t stay in that store very long. Weird, and I went to the real Happy Cash afterward. H Happy Track in a store, I saw the GX4000. Oh , the crappy Amstrade thing there. And how much was it sold for? Oh, I don’t remember. I think I filmed the thing, but maybe the people there in replay will see the video, but I don’t remember how much it was. [ __ ] you’re lucky. But it was between 100 and 200 bucks, I think. I would expect more than that, it’s in that range. It’s not looking for a GX4. Well, I don’t know because I say, yes, it’s crap, but it’s rare and so on, so you know, right. And on the other hand, in all these second-hand shops, there was still the laser tag battery joined the car’s. Ah, but what I didn’t tell you is that , ah, I can’t get any more exchanges between the two. I can’t get home anymore. Are there any caches here? Is there a little happy swap there? Let’s get my collectors’ items? Yes, that’s it, actually. We really have the best chat, huh. They have all the references. But on the other hand, surprised to still see Sega. It’s a Sega land. There were still plenty of Mega Drive games. But Sega, in France, was doing well. Tell yourself that I saw a boxed Shinobi 3. Oh! What’s the right price? €1,000, no, I don’t know. Ah, from 60 bucks, go for 150 for this game. I can see it, man, at the right price. And so this house, €25, I would have taken it, but well, a zero too much for my taste. Afterwards, I don’t know if it’s the real price, eh, but besides, I was a bit in my Sega period. I was playing Shinobi and Shadow Dancer games on Astro City. So I saw Shinobi 3, oh cool. Plus, we did the top, uh, our top 10 M drive not long ago. So I saw it, I was like, Oh, “Oh, so good! I love it.” Ah, 150 bucks. Well, we’ll download the R instead. Yes, we’ll put it on the Miin. So instead, I bought, uh, Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros. on the 3DS. Ah, Dream Team Bros. €11. Oh yeah, good. So, right now, I’m playing the Switch one that just came out, the brotherly pops. And last year, I did a retrospective. Yes. Which has aged very well, eh, where I explained that there would probably never be a new episode. Can you do the same thing for Restar, please? Retrospective, it’ll last 30 seconds since there’s only one game. So I took this one because thinking back, this Dream Team Bros., I don’t know if it has a mega good reputation in real life on the internet, the DS episodes are a little more famous , but when I did my retrospective, well, it pleasantly surprised me. I find that it’s a beast of a 3DS game that exploits the 3DS. Games that use both the dual screen and the touchscreen and the gyroscope and especially the 3D in the monster patterns are rare. Well, in fact, in the fights, the 3D is really exploited. Like if you put it in 2D, there are moments you are there [ __ ] but how do I actually dodge the attack? And so that’s annoying if you have a 2DS, but if you have a 3DS, I find it so rare games, uh, you see, there’s Mario 3D Land where you have certain bonus stages or like you see the cubes, only it’s in 3D. But uh otherwise uh even if there are problems of rhythm at certain moments of the adventure, you are really taken by the hand too much, there is too much blah blah, it is a bit of a pain in the ass, I find that there are lots of good ideas in this game and I have a good memory of it. And when I saw it in this section at 11 bucks, it is really not worth much on the internet, it is not very sought after. I said to myself well I want it Join my collection, you know. Well, Tom, because the cat agrees with you, not great. Well, I like Dream Team Bros. I wouldn’t put it that far away in the center of Bower. Go ahead, keep flexing, watch the 3D. And yes, it’s in 3D. I can play it after Moon explains to us that he couldn’t see the 3D. But hey, you can console yourself on the 3DS. If you can’t see the screen, you can see what’s happening on the back of your console. And if you had a New 3DS, you could change the face plates. It’s true. And well, you know, he got some face plates from a face plate store, if you say it in French, it’s a bit funny. Face plate face plate. Yeah, well, less funny than I thought. Careful. Yeah, it’s true that it’s basic, look at camouflage. Oh la la, that one, I’ve seen it 3 billion times in my life. Well the thing is that I bought the 3DS, there was the black thing and a Kirby thing which is apparently ultra sought after but hey Kirby, I don’t really care. I have every time I looked for face plates there, well it was still a little like I didn’t want to spend astronomical sums on it. And I have the impression that it’s a little sought after anyway. But the fa plates I thought were cool. Me on New 3DS in fact the time when I had one, I was really happy. I had several. You had several? Yeah. I had face plates that I had bought day one with my console, they were old Pokémon sprites on a white background and a little later, gen I had bought face plates uh rosa. There you go, like with a big donation that’s huge. But isn’t that mega expensive now? I don’t know, I don’t know, because I bought that. Well, it was almost 10 years ago, you know. But yeah, but I ‘ve seen it sometimes, well, I don’t often find it in stores anyway, and I saw it for €2. Look there, it must not be the most wanted I think it’s really not the most wanted but at least it wasn’t good camouflage it goes incognito especially in the bushes in the bushes the same one playing Mario Kart but but no offense in full guard of Vietnam no offense to this Sunaris I’m fed up with my Kirby case so I said that will give me a little change for 2 € and that gives me a third article to show in my video so we recap remember on 360 Mario and Luigi to stay a little in the news and uh and the news of the war also with the 3DS camouflage. Ruined his whole video on this so summary of my purchases 20 3 € for 7h30. And if you’re wondering what happened, what happened to my car, well, in my opinion, it’s it’s from And well, after going around the caches, we called Mondial Assistance again, who told us, “Well, actually, we’re going to find you another agency that has a car earlier than 5:30 p.m.” We order you a taxi, you go to the other agency. Oh yeah, we tried to call you. It’s at 10 p.m. actually. And then, the taxi arrives. Big black car, quickly tinted. Oh, but you’re the taxi from like 2 hours ago. Oh yeah, he’s the only one when we’re there, we were the only one doing errands, it’s like in the city of Newor. And then, he takes us, like, 40 minutes to Disneyland, 40 minutes by car, and we saw the meter going up. Except that we’re not the ones paying, it’s the insurance. Damn, every second it was 10 cents. Oh, that’s horrible. And you see, you see a bar filling up, except that the bar, it was like speedrunning, you see. It was 1 2 3 4 and you know, we get to €3000. Well, we get to the agency, it was like I think we were over €100. Oh [ __ ] [ __ ] it’s mega annoying in a taxi. Oh yeah, next time we would have taken we wouldn’t have taken the football player limousine. The old Pokéall sprites, they’re one of the most expensive now. Oh yeah, [ __ ] If I had known H. If I had known. How much do used face plates cost now? like that? The problem is that the market is a bit saturated with counterfeits, I think. Ah, but the official stuff, there are some that resell for 50 or 60 bucks, I think. Oh yeah, anyway . And so finally he takes us to Europe Car where we have a crazy car. Uh, it’s your car, we repaired it. That’s it, it’s like new. No, it was a fully equipped hybrid. You put on the Bluetooth sound because I’ve always been in my family, we never had crazy cars, what, when we had one, eh, because half of my parents don’t have a car, and uh, and when you had the sound, like, you just had the radio, you did n’t have the Bluetooth system or anything. Yes. And then, we arrive in the fully equipped car, you put on the sound, your 5ound stereo. You put something on, you hear the bass really well and especially this car when you’re driving at 100 km/h, you feel like you’re standing still. It makes no noise. Yes, that’s it. It’s And [ __ ] it’s a change from the old Twingo, eh. The Twingo of the last millennium not literally of the last millennium. Yes. Well yes. So there, it’s you’re there. Ah yeah, luxury, not bad, eh. You’re there, we’re not going fast. Ah 230 km/h. Well, we’re going to slow down a little. It’s 230. And so we were going for a hike and it was worth having a car. Going faster in a car. That is to say, all this car business Come on now we’re going to walk and in the middle of the hike you have the garage calling us and saying it’s okay we’ve fixed your car. Oh you’ll have to pay €28. It’s Yeah it was So they I didn’t know that word. You just had to change the terminals. Terminal, that’s a country. Terminal, it’s a thing that connects the battery. It’s a kind of cable like a little something where you put the cable, I think. Yeah, the thing was a little damaged, they changed it. It’s crap. And 28 bucks and the car, it runs. Well 3v, you’re the bomb. Yeah, but really, luxury is you can’t keep the other car. Well, that’s a bit like it. It’s Ah but we were starting to get excited now. The guy will have to come back with his old, his old carcass. We can’t put the Bluetooth sound on. That same evening, we were supposed to go back to Nant and then, the garage closed in like 1 hour and 3. We were in the middle of a hike. So, we were shit. The problem is that if we don’t go get it there, we won’t abandon it in fact because it runs after all. Yes. The problem is that we have to go back to Nant and back to Nior to get the car. It’s too boring. So, we speedran the hike at the end. So it was a pretty physical hike. It was more of a hike or it was after in New it’s pretty flat the hikes but it was for those who see it’s the tide weight of finish I think that’s what it’s called. We managed to arrive 10 minutes before the garage closed. Yeah. We got the car back which runs but now well side well everyone in a car and we go in the car. So and we’re going to return it to Europe Car know we had rented Europe Car they had granted us for like 5 or 6 days or something like that. Oh yeah and then the same day we return it. Well well well. I can still sniff the seats and turn it over in the crate. Oh, I’m in pain. Is that why my knees are at chin level? Why can’t we hear any music and we have to use up energy? So it was a very sad return. Luckily I was able to console myself. Luckily there were the camouflage face plates for €2. Ouch, ouch, ouch. That was the end of my travel anecdotes. Travel. Again! You’re still not asleep and you want more? Well, the problem is that I don’t have anything left in stock for France, but if you’re interested, I can do the same thing this summer for my purchases in Japan. Let me know what you think of this format. See you soon.
