Yeah, I was really close to giving up at some point, but then uh I think at the right moment class uh said to me that I had to keep going. Wenger, he sees Remco in front of him. He’s going to sprint for all he is worth to catch the rider in front of him. I knew with in the last two three kilometers when I was going really slow that there was a big chance if uh that he would come come past me. Uh and especially on this last steep kicker. I was kind of prepared for it. [Music] Are you worried about tomorrow? Uh not yet. I just hope uh that I will be better tomorrow. This is the only thing I can hope with you. A savage day in the mountains. The cold detour and a summit finish on Lucon Super Ber. Overall, nearly 5,000 m of elevation. A true leg breaker of a stage. [Music] Steph Cass of the Total Energy team. The tears starting to flow because no rider wants to leave the tour to France. And that might be no successful breakaway formed yet. That meant when the Pelton reached the intermediate sprint, Jonathan Milan was able to grab the top 20 point hall ahead of Matio Vanderpool and Benai Taga himself snapping up three points. Stop it. Remco a Nepal. Is he in trouble or is he going back through the race? No, in my opinion, he’s in trouble. Number 85 Matias Skilmore forced to retire from the race after his crash. At the back, number 21 Remco Avenue forced to retire from the tour of France. A trio did make it up the road. Arenssman, Rubio, and the polka dots of Lenny Martinez. But on the term incline, the bunch swelled with quality. Tobias Johannes eighth placed overall. A GC danger to those in the Pelaton. Whisma duo. Simon Yates and Seep Cus in contention. This the cam before the storm. Ben O’ Connor ups the tempo. He wants to split this race up a little bit more. Yet it was Martinez to leave Jacob Alula’s leader in his dust and solo over the famous Turle Summit. Wearing the polka dots for Pagatcha. Martinez now the virtual king of the mountains. The Frenchman added a further five points on Kaspan but appeared happy for the support of compatriate Vantan Par and Sebus. 50 km to go. The chase group with a few minutes to make up. Three minutes back to the pelaton. Oh, there’s an acceleration. Acceleration of Tim and Aaron. Aaronman decides Rodriguez ride for him, but it’s time to go. 36.7 km. [Music] Over the penultimate climb, Aaron’s men building a lead with a lack of cohesion in the chase. The yellow jersey looked serene. What was in store for the finale? Could Inios claim a first tour stage win in two years? To Aaronman heading towards the top of this climb and then he’ll get set for the final rise to Super Bur. And now Vengerard starts the acceleration and Pagatcha just trying to sit down and come back. Wenger looks another big acceleration and Pagatcha pedals his way back onto the wheel. Getting it dropped now. Leapitz is trying to go but Leapitz is struggling. Venger really start. Oh, almost hits the fan. Looks around. Is that the only attack of the day? And here goes another attack. Fengard strikes one more time. Tries to get rid of Paga. Paga is still there. The fans are so close to these riders. Far too close. But now we’ve reached the Pyrenees. He sits up. It is a debut stage win for Amazing Arensman. 115 the gap over and faggard gets ready because he wants to beat Pagatcha to the finish line and just give him a little reminder that he’s there and can he do it. Pagatcha strikes. They go for the finish line. Pagatcha in that yellow jersey is going to take time. Finger cracks just on the run and he’s unable to go with it. He wanted a little bit more seconds, but Pagacha takes a time bonus and takes another three or 4 seconds ahead of Wangard. [Applause] [Applause] I don’t know. I can’t really believe it. [Music] I don’t know. I uh I think I just had amazing legs and uh the shape of my life [Music] to win a stage in my first tour on on this way. You know, it’s crazy. [Music] A first tour to France appearance. Aaron’s men claims a first stage win to boot. A top finishing from Gal, Lipoitz, Onley, and Healey. Pagacha Imperious again. A small increase of 6 seconds. Then did everything he could think of, but the champion remains in control. An important 20point haul for the green jersey of off Jonathan Milan. Pogacha still a danger at 28 points a drift. A stunning early performance paid dividends. Lenny Martinez back in possession of the polka dots. Eight points clear of a certain Bugattacha. Ever out. Lipoitz the new man in white. Only and booklan the main rivals to the German.
