[Music] He tears through the streets like a thunder’s roar. Rubber burns and the engine soarses. Rev bomb rides with a wild man’s pride. The world can’t keep up no matter how it tries. Rev bomb’s motorbikes got a heart of steel. Wheels spinning faster than the fear we feel. Lights flash like fire in the dead of night. He’s a rebel on wheels chasing freedom. Morning all. Wednesday morning OCR. We’re going to do three test rides back to back. Now it’s about uh 10:00. We’ve got the three final test rides and we’ve crammed them all into one day back to back because we’ve obviously got no staff in the garage. So, Black OCR looking rather grubby, but does need its final wash and clean. 10 on the bike and the final bit of mileage to rack up as quick as I can because I have three back to back in 45 minutes and then two, two services and a load of welding to do on a truck. So, uh, full on day today. So, we’re just going to scoot out on the OCR. After that, we’re going to be following up with I think it’s an LXR and also a Barleta. And the traffic at this time in the morning is absolutely horrendous. There two turning left. Let’s go. Quick one around the town. We’ve done the 10 miles that we need. This is just the final test ride of about half a mile. back to the garage just to get the last bit of mileage on the bike. Make sure that the bike is running effectively, which it is. And then obviously massive great snow foam clean polish ACF50 and get the bike registered for the customer. And everybody is out in their little summer sorts and short skirts. And don’t you love the summer? Absolutely love it. Right, round the town. Keep your eyes on the road, RB. That’s the main thing. Right up into town we go. Now, if you’re thinking of an OCR, these are the cheapest ones out, and you won’t go far wrong with one of these. So basically these are $16999 1,700 quid for a little 125 scooter and then obviously your on the road fees as well. So with us on the road fees of 149 and prep and build procedure but all the ride test cost you 100 quid. 249 we’re charging on the road, which is about the same as everybody in the country cuz tax has gone up and obviously we put fuel in and we put a lot of prep into our bikes. We actually worked it out the other day. We put about 7 hours into every bike we do with all the preps, the tests, the paperwork, all the office stuff that we do on these, the videos, the ride tests, all the YouTube. So we do about 7 hours on every bike. And if you work it out, your average garage cost is about £100 an hour. Yes, we are not making a lot of money once we start spending a lot of time doing bikes, which is why I tend to do it in either early mornings before I come into the garage or like I am now doing it in what’s called my catch up and break time. And we’ve got a learner. Oh, look. We got a learner in front. It’s the weapon of choice. It’s a Toyota Prius 07 plate and the Ronell plates. Well, at least if you uh you crunch that one, you you haven’t got an expensive bill. And it’s being followed by a Tesla. Electric follows electric. And uh she’s got no idea of how to judge distance. Always give yourself a little bit of room when going past the car. At least a meter and a half in case say, “Open that door. Watch out for the bus. Is she going to stop? They’re going to be Oh, stop for the zebra crossing. There’s still people on it. No, they’re going. All right. Come on, people. I want to get my test rides done. Funnying around at 22 mph. Remember to turn that indicator off as well. Oh, habit. RB habit, habit, habit. So used to self-cancelling indicators on mine. Right, couple of quick things for you while we’re doing these test rides. If you watch it all three back to back, then there’s going to be shedload of waffle in it. Uh had a message last night from 5T Fifi. And she sent me a message. Said uh just to let you know there is a big bike meet on in La which is Leicester in the middle of August. I think it’s on a Wednesday. I will post it up but it came in on me Tik Tok. Be good to see you. And Pete Hickman’s organizing a bike meet for PHR Pete Hickman Racing. It is invite only. You will not be allowed in if you have not had an invite. So don’t go turning up to it. It’s invite only. You have to apply for an invite. Well, I’ve already been invited. I said I will try and get there, but obviously leaving the garage at 6:00. It’s from 6:00 till 9:00. It’s a 2hour and 20 minute ride. 120 miles. It ain’t going to take me long to do that distance. Is it when it’s up the motorway if you’ve seen my woven run? No, exactly that. And uh I said I might even finish the garage a couple of hours early, get there for about 6:00, but then I ain’t going to be home till about 10:00 that night. But it’ll be worth it just to have a run out and meet Peter and obviously Lucy, 5 foot Fifi. So keep an eye out for that one. We’ll tell you about some more stuff when we get back to the garage and we switch to the next bike. And I’ve got a choice. So, I could either do the Bar Letter or the LXR. I don’t know. It just depends where they are parked cuz I have bikes everywhere at the moment. But we’ll get this one parked up. But braking abs. Oh god, the brakes on this are so good. Little scooter for just under two grand and it’s an X Moto OCR. There are loads available. If you want one of these, then obviously contact your local dealer or contact us at Eclipse Motorcycles. And the best bit is you can filter, you can scoot between the gaps, right, we’ve got to try and find a gap for this one somewhere there. I might have to put it in next to Rocky. That’s the first one done. So 11 miles on the clock. It is now 20 10. I have got about another 30 minutes to rack all this in. We’re going to uh squeeze in down beside this RX1. Try not to smack me head on the sign as I come in, which I did this morning. Trying to get in past that sign. That is the OCR completed. Job is a good one, which means Oh, there we go. I’ve got an LXR and a Barleta over there. Right, we’re going to rack some mileage up on these. We will see you guys in just a few once we’re out on ride test two. So, back on bike two, LXR in the black and red. Finally got the mirrors fitted, done all the bits on it, and I noticed that the right peg was a little bit. So, I’ve changed this entire plate. Put a brand new peg on it. Not happy with that. It was all right. It was just not to my expectations. Phone Lex Moto. Need a new peg, boys? All right. Send me one. It is that quick when you know the guys at Lex Moto and you put warranty claim in. So 5.3 miles on the bike is coming in here with the left hand indicator on then. Okay, quick uh blip and we’re going to do the dual carriageway again. I’m just going to rack some miles. I’ve got the last four miles to do on this one cuz we didn’t have time yesterday. So it’s quick blip down the dual carriageway. Same route as yesterday. Get the power on. Get the miles up. Job done. Back to the garage. Next bike to do is the Barleta. Now, the blue Barleta, if you watched the last video, had an issue with the fuel display. Yes, it did. It was coming up full and then flashing top and bottom. Top and bottom. Top and bottom. Oh. So, on the phone to HJS, I need a new fuel sender. And have you done the fix on the clocks? There is a fix for all the barettas on the clocks if the speedo don’t work properly. And it’s just a little uh cut a wire, put a little snap connector in, put the wire back on. Took me about 10 minutes to do that, but I’ve done it anyway. It didn’t need it. Went under the bike and uh going through all the wiring. And you have to take the whole back end of the bike apart to get into the wiring for the bloody fuel sender. Took me about an hour this morning at 6:00. Got into it, found the wiring not clipped in properly. Oh dear. Yes. So, that’s now all done. And I’ve now got a full fuel tank. Yay. Sorted. And then put all the bike back together and uh check everything is all okay. Let’s get some power on. Let’s wind it up to the obligatory 45. Give it a quick burn. There we are. We’re 45. And drop it back down. So, 40 to 45. First 500 miles. Keep an eye on the traffic behind me and then we’re off at the next junction back to the garage as quick as we can to do the Barleta. I’ve got the uh sexy little munchkin orange one coming up. I’ve nicked that from Moto Gym. Sexy little munchkin. You Oh, I do like watching his videos. Right. So, yeah, three bikes back to back. It’s going to be a long video this one, is it? You can just skip through if you want because it’s just me waffling. But as I always say, every single bike has to be given that love and attention. And if you don’t like doing the long runs, then you’re in the wrong job. Then I’ve got other stuff to do in the garage. I’ve got a shedload of paperwork to do cuz we obviously got no receptionist. We got no moly. Me and Phil are running on fumes at the moment. We are literally running on fumes. We’ve been in every morning bright and early at 600 half and getting out of the garage at probably half 600 7:00 at night. So, it’s 13hour days for us. Hence why I obviously need to get out and ride a lot in the evenings and just clear my head ready for the next day. I was that shattered last night that I actually uh got home at 6, grabbed a bite to eat. Mrs. B actually cooked for me and she’s uh messaged me twice this morning. Will you please go easy? Slow it down. You’re not young. I know. I am 61. I don’t feel it though. I am uh I feel body of a 21y old and the uh the brain of a 12y old. I enjoy what I do. But let’s get back and have a little test ride of this back to the garage and then we can crack on and get the day started and hopefully I get out before it starts raining as well. So trying to rack up as many miles as I can. So exactly the same route as I did yesterday. Right, we’re going down here and across which means right hand lane. Check the mirror. Check the shoulder. Check that junction through the roundabout back round the corner and get back to the garage. Now, one LXR left, black and gold one left. If you want one, we’ve got one left. Your next order for these is going to be August, September. So, if you want one, as I say, if you want any bike, pre-reserve it. If you want a new BMW, you’re going to have to wait 6 months. Yes. If you want a new Triumph, there is a two-month waiting list. So, even the big bikes, why has she got a group? Look, look at this. In front, she’s got a group call going on. She’s ning away on a video screen on a group call. WN13 LSO. Look, she’s got a bloody WhatsApp connection going chatting with four people on video. Make us believe. Is it? Make us believe. And you’re just going to cut me off. Yeah. Well, what do you expect? Enterprise. Rent a car. More like Enterprise. Rent a brain. All right. God, they’re everywhere this morning. Weapon of choice. Another electric car. Or maybe not. Look like one. It’s a cash guy. Could be worse. Could be a Sportage. And he’s in the outside lane. He needs a rental van. Oh, Jesus. H Christ. You see them all when you’re out test riding and you just got to be aware of all the numpties around you. Oh, what fun. Right, so we’re back to the garage on this. By the time I get back, I will have logged up just under 10 miles, which is good for me. And that engine sounds really nice. Really does burble. I do like the sound of the LXR. The LXS’s are a lot quieter. And someone said, “What’s the difference between LXR, LXs?” Well, the LXS is shorter. It’s lower in the seat. It has obviously uh twin exhaust under the seat, whereas this has got a sidemounted exhaust. And the dashboard is different. LXS dashboard is all blue digital LED one. You can wait. Watch them wheels turning. Keep an eye on that through the camera. 30 mph. There we go. 29. And we’re going to hook in here and back to the garage. Blip down the box. And the gearbox on this is just so smooth. What the hell is that? Down the middle of the road. I didn’t think them things were allowed on the road. I thought they had to be on the pavement only cuz they’re under 15 mph. Filter between the cars. There we go. Around the corner. And let’s hook this one back to the garage. Right, test ride number three coming up. So, we’ll see you in a few once we are back on the bar letter. See you in a bit. Here we go. Back out on bike free. It’s not a bar letter. I brought the LXS out. So, differences. shorter in length, lower in the seat height, and you’ve got twin mounted exhaust just under the tail, just under there. A lot shorter, and the display is totally different to the LXR. So, shorter leg rider, get yourself one of these. Longer leg rider, get yourself an LXS. Let’s roll out. 5 L of fuel gets you one bar. We’ve already got 111 on this. Now there is the obviously the recallil on this. So next thing is obviously you have to change up the front brake caliper bigger spacer. Take you about half an hour if you’re good mechanic. If you’re slow ass it’s going to take you about an hour. Uh but it’s a really quick fix for me. God the traffic is building up. It is now round about 11:00. Clock says 7:21. I’ve got to change that. But it’s about 11:00 now. My first is due to roll in. And there’s a dirty great lorry up there that’s stopping the traffic, which means Rev can filter. She’s having a nice little smile at me. Hello. Right, let’s get out of a ride last little bit back to the garage and uh wait for them to uh deliver all their stuff into uh now the best bit is being on a bike, I can do a filter to the front of the queue like so. Get myself down into neutral for a minute and wait for the lorry to back in. Now he’s trying to back into what is called new yard. And he does say goods in lack of turning within the yard. Please make sure that you have a banksman to guide you in. I don’t see his banksman anywhere. He’s obviously doing it on his own, watching out of his mirrors, but this is great fun watching these lries trying to get down here. Go on. You can do it. You can do it. No, he’s going to have an Oh, there’s the banksman. He’s turning him. Why you steering the other way? We’ll make sure you can see him in the mirrors. It would help. I’m going to uh let him do his little bit. And then I am going to scoot past. I’m just going to let him get cuz you know the front of the lorry is going to swing. Right, he’s in. I am away. Let him deal with it. Get on with it. On the bike. I can filter. And look, he’s already backed all the traffic up. Right. Quick test ride back to the garage. Here we go. So, I’m just going to go straight up this time. Get the power on. get round the roundabout before he does and then hopefully my cup of coffee that’s been sat on the side for the last half hour in my thermos is still going to be warm. Now the only thing about working this many hours is I don’t get to smoke so much. So you may notice I’m not coughing so much now. I am down about four a day at the moment which is good. Keep me working Phil. I don’t smoke so much. Right, we’re going to roll back into here. round the corner and back to the garage. Free test rides. You’re just going to uh Thank you very much. I’ll go over the bin bags. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The boys are all pushing cars under the yard. He’s having fun with that one. [Music] You need a few more bodies to push that. There we go. Bump it up the curb. Right, we’re going to throw this one back in the MOT bay for the time being. And that is the three test rides completed. So, happy days for me. Oh, look, there’s Phil’s rocket all covered in dust cuz he hasn’t ridden it for ages. Right, we’re all done. All the test rides completed. Everything is all good. Get into the right gear. There we go. Thank you very much. Test ride completed. Just the front end to do on that one which I shall be doing in a while. We’ll see you on the next one. Till then, be well. Ride safe from Rev. It’s a big goodbye from me. [Music] [Applause]
