New to Canyon bikes and was after a road bike for a while. Canyon is one of the few companies who makes a 2XL frame (I’m 6’6) so I was excited when I found an Aerorad CFR for 35% off. Hasn’t been delivered just yet, and I am truly excited as I’ve never had a bike of this caliber. But now I’m reading about the CP0018 cockpit and issues with durability / fitting / inability to accommodate aero bar attachments. I want this bike to last a long time considering the price even after discount. Did I make a mistake going with this (linked below) model due to the cockpit/ seat post qualms I’ve been reading about?
