I’m currently walking across America on the PCT but do to a stress fracture I’ve decided to bike from Lake Tahoe to mt shasta to reduce impact on my shins and feet. Basically my plan is to buy a crappy bike on Facebook marketplace around Lake Tahoe and head up to shasta. I’ve never biked long distances before so any advice is appreciated. Of the bikes I’ve found which ones look like a decent option?
