[Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hey, what’s up? I’m in Switzerland now and I’m heading to Messenger European Championships and the World Championships. What we’re going to do is we’re going to do a group ride from Busousan to Zurich. I forget just how efficient trains are here in Switzerland. Like they’re to a second. All right. Good day. We are at Milan Park. We are about to do an uphill race. Let’s hope I don’t break your bike on this. I doubt it. All right. So, we’re changing shoes. So, bike exchange. We’re going to trade bikes for the uphill time trial. And you’ll go fixed. Yeah. With the 4817 on this mountain bike. That’s a ratio. Let’s go. I’m twitching on the bike because uh cuz it’s it’s like so small for me and the bars are like a 747. These bars are like so [ __ ] wide. Wait, can I uh do the race this bike? No, you you cannot ride with this bike. That’s the rules with no brakeless bikes. No brakeless bikes at all. All right, then. Yeah, I’m sorry about that. So, what if I just run with the bike and not ride it? Uh, you can leave the bike down here and run. But I I can’t cuz I run faster with a bike. I don’t want you to go on the course with a brake bike. Really? Sorry, no discussion. Oh, man. All right. Yeah. There’s people here. Could you go off to the Yeah, there’s people here who have the skill to do this. Yeah, I know that, but I don’t want to take responsibility for that. Someone died here ago. So, no break. 4 3 2 1 go. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] Oh, [Music] come on. The best pair. Everybody. Come on. Come on. How was it, man? Yeah. True. Hey, it was great. Yeah. Yeah. But I didn’t clip in. You didn’t clip in? Yeah. No, I like when I went down again. Yeah. Here it goes up into the up like up going part. I had to clip out for the stairs and then I didn’t get any chance to come in again. Oh well, congratulations on the freaking run on the uh Chinelli. Thank you. So these guys did really well today. Um so anyway, on to the next event. Queen. I’m the crochet queen. I’m the crochet queen. Oh, you know who I am. You know who I am. You know who I am. You know who I am. [Music] Oh, you know who I am. Queen [Music] All right, everybody’s queuing up now to turn their manifest in and finish up the race. The checkpoints are all closed, so no more deliveries. Well, I guess we’re going to go do some illegal track lacrosse somewhere. Imagine if we haven’t had a enough racing. Anyway, we’ll see where this ride leads us to. Thanks for a long ass day. We finished up as the trash can in the forest. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. 131 the first [Applause] the last person to finish the course of match 2828. [Applause] Yeah. Tomorrow we start our 550 mile ride from here in Lean to Zurich. No, she sucked. She came to the funeral. True photography. All right. Cargo races are [ __ ] interesting. [Applause] One more applause for our main race winners. [Music] All [Applause] right, at this point, everybody’s leaving this basketball court campsite. Yeah, we’re going to be uh open road real soon. All right, everybody’s getting ready for the group ride, and it’s like pretty chaotic right now. It took me a long time to get ready because of the video equipment, but um yeah, as you can see, we have quite the uh setup here. So, hey, Philip. Hey, group ride. And you’re taking stuff and you’re making sure that there’s no like drugs in the van. Yeah, that’s a public announcement. No weed and [ __ ] in your bags, please. I’m the one who drives the car over the borders and I am not keen on getting caught by the police. Thank you. Hey. Hi, Lucas. All right. So, you ready for this [ __ ] thing? As ready as I’m ever going to be. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. We haven’t We haven’t done a group ride for together for like forever. I think since 2018. Oh, yeah. Since Estonia. Since the uh the the polar ride. You ready for the group ride? Yes, I am so ready. How long do you think it’s going to be easy going for uh for the group ride? I’m taking it easy the whole way. That’s my plan at least. How uh you think today is going to go? Uh so it’s it’s been a long week. So today I’m very tired. But I think at first it’s going to be like very exhausted, but after you you take the flow, you start riding with a group and chatting with people. I think we we arrived to the end safe and sound. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] All right. You okay? You okay? Yeah. Sorry, man. However, uh these are sweet corn, so we might as well take advantage of the situation. Let’s roll. [ __ ] How you feeling? Oh, terrible. That is savage. I’m worried about my legs cramping. They feel like they’re going to go at any second. I could see that. Legs cramping. All right. So, at this point, Ronin is swapping his gear out for an easier gear. Easier gear. What gear are you going to, Ronin? Uh, 3818 from 3816. [Music] Okay, that was one hell of a climb, but even more so for a Ronin. So on a fixed gear and yeah I mean I’m on this um you know fully geared bike but couple of small breaks but that was about it. So you know he has no choice but to just go like hell a fixed gear total commitment going up a hill. No options. Uh yeah this course that he’s on is actually meant for the geared bikes. to fix gear. People have a different route, but he chose this route. [ __ ] savage. Anyway, Switzerland. All right, we just stopped in this little ass town and this is the center of it. It’s like literally four-way. So, I guess this is ski country and we’re parked here at this closed place and um we have some refreshments that we got from a store. So yeah, continuing on. Tastes like spring water. [Applause] [ __ ] better. Not better. [Music] Up. Hey. Y up. [Music] [Music] Little little element. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Whoa. [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh, dude. That was solid, man. Oh. Well, that’s how these days go. You never know who you’re going to run into or what the hell’s going to happen. Of course, we almost [ __ ] ourselves up on the first day with that descent. Anyways, time to chill, rest, and recuperate. And yeah, um this concludes day one of the group ride. All right. All right. So, we’re going into a bunker right now. This is where we’re going to be staying tonight. Thank you. [Music] When they said bunker, they weren’t kidding. This is a bunker. So, this is a freaking bunker. Here’s where we’re sleeping today. It’s a freaking bunker. I can’t believe it’s nice. It’s beautiful. That’s actually the most beautiful bunker I’ve ever been in because I have been in number of bunkers in war zones, but not like this. Look at all the beautiful equipment. This is a sight to see. My oh my. All right, everybody’s cleared the bunker now. Almost. So, bunk beds, those are nice. But this is day two, and I’m one of the last ones to leave because of the fact that video takes a long time to do, but I did it. So, copied all the footage and uh yeah, let’s go ride. Uh, as you can see, we are at breakfast. We have porridge and all kinds of good stuff. For the energy. Anyway, it’s a cool, dry day. It’s like 68 Fahrenheit, 20 C. Those of you who know me know that I love hot, humid weather, but whatever. We’ll make do. So, here we go. Have some breakfast and start riding. Yeah, pretty okay. It’s pretty nice roots. Beautiful roots. I mean, my knees are kind of tired from cycling, but yeah. Well, but I kind of enjoyed walking up things. Walk. Yeah. We were like, let’s just walk again. I’m quite happy I didn’t take my pixie. Yeah. My friends in Stockholm were like, take the pixie. Be cool. Take the pixie. Oh, of course. Ron here. Oh, yeah. It was all the way. He’s going on the geared route. Yeah, man. Freaking savage. That’s what he was doing yesterday. You have pretty easy gearing, right? Yeah. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Ah, no. Not here. Oh, but the next village for a coffee. Oh, all right. Or no coffee. I’ve seen two, three other cyclist, the same group. Yes, we nearly produced an accident because I was stopping at the road because I saw something skeleton of a small animal. It was a frog. And then they came behind me. They complained I have stopped and one passed right by me and two left and then ker came a car. So I know I’m cyclist I’m still alive writing fast is always dangerous. I mean yeah you you said you and you said you think so. I say cycling is principle dangerous. Sure. The faster the more dangerous. Yeah. I’m 70 years old. All crazy bastards. I’m 70 years old. Yeah. I’m still alive. I have Oh, we are sorry for ourselves. They all lose a little bit their brain by racing down. So don’t worry. But you’re not the same group or we are the same group but they are all bad heads. They all go by themselves. Everyone is responsible for him. But if you ride down first anyway can come animal or a rock falls down and then you have that. No don’t get angry about we try to calm down everyone but sometimes give you the same the same group. We can repeat this. We try to talk into people frequently. Tell them take it easy. Watch out for other is useless. So I don’t No, it’s not useful. It’s good to remember because people they don’t also hurt others but sometimes they also get hurt by themselves because they just it’s like ride fast, die, die, die soon, die soon, die soon. No. Good to meet you. Thank you. Okay. And again, will I appear somewhere in the internet? Will I appear? Will I appear in YouTube? Um, hold on. Where’s uh finally I’ll get famous. Hold on. Now you’ll become famous. But just only if we meet up with you in 50 years and you’re still cycling. 50. Dare. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] One of the really fun things about these group rides is you’re just constantly catching other riders. So, there’s another group right there. Uh we’re going to catch them. But we uh I’m always with the fast riders. So, you know my philosophy on speed. Hello. Nice one. Oh, once again. Once again, bro, man. All right, that’s the campsite and that’s where we’re staying on the camp. Today was tough as hell. It wasn’t actually as lively or as crazy as yesterday. We had a couple really good descents. Um, but it was very difficult. And it’s funny because I looked at today and I’m thinking to myself, you know, when I was back in Miami, like, oh, you know, this map looks really cool and the sites and all the streets and stuff like that. And it looks easy when you’re looking at a map on a computer, when you’re looking at Google Earth or, you know, GPX files, whatever. But when you go and actually commit to doing the [ __ ] man. So today was a really tough day, probably in part because it wasn’t as exciting. So, uh, but that’s okay. So, that’s pretty much a wrap for today. Um, other than, um, dinner and, uh, rest and recover. This is me here um doing my video and sound and all this other stuff on the computer. So, uh I was up at 6:30 this morning and for like the last couple of hours, it’s just been a race to get everything ready audio video wise. So, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love to fit all the puzzle pieces in and to make this possible to show how we roll, what the hell it is that we’re doing here. So, anyway, stoked for another ride. That wheel got too hot. It was from braking, right? Yeah. Yeah. It just elaminated. Yeah. Yeah. Tire blew and um she had the skill to be able to slow down with a flat tire on a high-speed descent, but got too hot. rim brakes. Um, how old would you want them? I actually prefer rim brakes to disc brakes. They’re easier to travel with and maintain and everything, but the thing about the disc brakes, uh, of course, is that when you’re in an intense descent, well, they last. They’ll be there for you. Good face. Good face, man. How you feeling? Yeah, pretty good. Yeah. Almost died on the last bit, but I think we’re like almost halfway now, right? Yeah. Far up. Yeah. Yeah. It went well. You got a nice false splat here. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I’m loving it. Do you got the You got good gear today? Yeah, I got the climbing gear on. So, hopefully we’ll make it to the top. Yeah. Really? Jesus. You You do many climbs like this? Uh, no. This will be my first like over 1,000 m ascent in one go. I got you. But I do a lot of climbing in the UK. We just don’t have like big mountains. It’s got a lot of small ones, right? Yeah. Well, we made it to the top in the clouds and view over here. So, yeah. Now for the fun part, which is the descent. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat up here. Oh, heat, heat. [Music] And that is how to ride a bike. Damn, that was a descent. [ __ ] That was [ __ ] That was [ __ ] animal. Okay, that was the ride from hell, but the descent was heavenly. Anyway, we just arrived at the barbecue and yeah, everybody’s got their bikes on the rack and here’s the barbecue. So, um, recover, eat soon after you do a ride like that so your body can repair itself. For today, the plan is uh eat something here, get your bellies full, and then we leave for the campsite together in a group ride at around latest uh 7 [Music] I had two major items on my shot list this morning to video and um one of them was getting a drone footage at the top of the mountain and then the other one was going down the mountain and I did that with chips. So, nailed both of them and some bonuses today. Not as hectic as the first day, but yeah, this is day three and uh nice close to it. What a day. Look at the charging going on. I hope we don’t take out the city with this amount of electricity. And I’m not going to take a very long shower. This is cold shower that we’re getting tonight. So, after riding like 90 miles and a bunch of other crazy [ __ ] but yeah. So, here we go. The faucet and everything. I guess they got these up here so that you can grab it. Exactly. Okay, that’s the situation here to see that right. All right, cold shower here we come. Mind over matter. Okay, that Yeah, that’s cold. Go cold shower and then do one of these. Oh man. Oh man. All right. I don’t have to do nearly as much work to set up camp tonight because this venue that we’re at is some punk rock concert going on. But they have a tent that they’re not using until Friday. So this is what my tent looks like now, my setup compared to last night. So this is like 10 times the space. I’m sure there’ll be guests, but whatever. Today’s day number four of this tour and so I feel like this morning I had a lot more preparation. Just things were more methodical. Yesterday morning was completely chaotic and um I’m very lucky that things went the way that they did yesterday and I got the shot list that I wanted to and more. This is the key to the energy. Thank you. Thank you. Oh my god. Well, Pablo’s pro tip on where to sleep and get away from the uh rowdies. Oh yeah. No, get go go go find yourself a corner. Go get yourself some good earplugs. Maybe a nice little cushy face mask. Uh, get yourself near some woods with your back away from everybody essentially. Uh, a nice even groundish that’s fairly soft, not full of rocks. Make sure you have a good ground mat underneath you so the moisture doesn’t come up to your ass. Exactly. This is peaceful over here. It was so chill. And this is the old person’s corner. So, we were all asleep by 11. The old person Okay. I mean, I slept in the field last night. Yeah, it really did. But wow. Yeah, this is like These guys got it going on. All right, here’s a pro tip. Instead of washing your cycling gear, just stand in the smoke and it’ll smell like smoke. So, barbecue versus body odor. Yeah, that doesn’t work for saddle sore, Lucas. [Music] Okay. [Music] [Music] traveling somewhere. Could be anywhere. There’s a coldness in the air, but I don’t care. We drift deeper and life goes on. We drift deeper into the sound. [Music] Traveling somewhere. Could be anywhere. There’s a coldness. Hell yeah. Uh, not not really. I don’t know. Yeah, pretty tasty. I’m feeling strong. So bring it on. [Music] So bring it all. Embrace me. Surround me as the rush comes. Embrace me. Surround me as the rush comes. Praise me. Surround me as the rush comes. Oh, praise me. [Music] Get a little bit of grass action going on the bikes right now. It’s cleaning your drivetrain. [Music] Hello. Um, hey, do you have a uh a hose or anything for for water? I can give you some. Thank you so much. You need one or two? Do you guys want any more water? Well, actually if it’s okay. Yeah, we’re a big one. Oh, thank you so much. This is me. Amazing. Thank you. So, where have you been? Everywhere. Where did we start today? Basel. We’re near near Basil and we kind of through the hills. So, you went around the hills to here. Okay. Yeah, exactly. Now, we’re heading to Fryberg. Okay. And eventually to um Sir. From now on, it’s only done. All right. Oh. Thank you very much. [Applause] Life goes on. We drift deep into the sun. Feeling strong. [Applause] That was fun. Yeah, that was great, man. Yeah. Well, the my brake was rubbing on the descent, so I thought the descent was over, so I was like, “Oh, I’ll just I’ve done this a thousand times. I’ll just reach down and like push it over a little bit.” And but I was watching the road instead and tried to do it blind and put my missed the brake, right? It’s just like one of those things like I know how to cut things with a knife. My hand like my finger caught the spoke and pulled my hand in. Very [ __ ] freaky. Yeah, that’s that is freaky. And then Jesus Christ hand in the spoke over the top. I’m glad it’s not worse. Like No, we’ve all been there. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, this is our housing. This is another gym. So, here we are. This is going to fill up with a hell of a lot of people. And I’m glad that we got the mats. So, these are kind of nice. And we’re near electric power. And we’re not going to get the morning sun cuz it’s the afternoon. So, we have power and be able to sleep in. And um yeah. Um this looks like a nice new place to be in Fryberg for a bit. All right. Well, we just arrived at dinner, so real nice place by the river here. What a crazy ride over here. Anyway, glad I could change out of my garbin into something a lot more comfortable. Very important to do that shower as soon as you’re done riding. Recovery begins as soon as you get off the bike. Hey, oh, there is food. That looks fire. It’s amazing. Slide down. Okay. All right. Well, today again was 10 out of 10. Um, gravel ride was my major agenda today. And you saw how the group whittleled down. It was a huge group at the beginning and there’s all these variables. There’s heat and accidents and directions. You know, everything’s all messed up. What happens is you work through that and you stay persistent on your goal no matter how bleak things can look. Um, so I love the heat. Heat is my friend. But uh I wanted to show you guys the descent into Fryberg from the single track and Chips is a savage and downhill and this is the best community ever. I can’t imagine having a better time with anything and feeling so good after such an accomplishment. But that’s bike life and then above that subset is mess messengers. So, what an inclusive open community. And uh well, that’s a wrap. Oh my god. Happy birthday. This is so nice. It’s the girl’s birthday. [Music] Oh, nice. [Applause] Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear. Happy birthday to you. [Music] Go go go go go. We love speed. All right. Well, we’re clearing this gym out in a hurry. Yeah. No, not in a hurry. We have time. Yeah. Everybody is still not there. So, true that. True that. So, all clear. All clear. Real contrast from yesterday. So, anyway, um yeah. So, clearing out the gym and on our way up to I don’t know where. Uh Northshai. Okay. Uh Nordic Arena. There will be the sick location for our mainies. Oh, the main. Okay. It will be fun. Yeah. this in between European cycle messenger Championships and world cycle um messenger Championships we have uh our own race so that we’re going to be going up to today. That’s a precious [Music] finger. just sketched up to Robert because why not? Yeah. Yeah. Car drivers were not happy about that, but whatever, you know. That’s the way. Exactly. Yeah. My plan is to go slow and steady and make it up slowly. All right. Of course, there is the gondola option for this ride as well. We’re in cargo bike. Yeah. Overtime. Damn. [Applause] Fixie up the hill. That’s the way. I’ll see you. So make an eco dumping, you know. Yeah, exactly. I can definitely feel the air getting cooler and thinner. It is very beautiful up here, but at the same time, I’m taking it in sprints, mixing in a little bit of sketching, and yeah, because I am about the speed, not necessarily the endurance of climbing something so huge. Oh, here’s the gondola again. [Applause] Okay, there is hope because the gondola is actually in sight. It’s right up there. There’s the freaking finish. Can I get out? [Music] Yeah, I sketched. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Fast, too. So, [Music] that was insane. Jesus Christ. Thanks. Sadly, I didn’t die. So, you got that on camera, but maybe next time. So, I kind of had to dig deep even emotionally to get up here because sprinting, I’m not a climber, but sprinting this much, believe it or not, actually does wear on you. So, um had to do that, dig deep in your soul, think about things that happened in the past, might not have been so good, and about motivation for the future. And, um, yeah, a series of sprints, a little bit of sketching, and um, got up here. So, flatlander, you know, different style. Um, always worth it though. You know, people are giving their cars a workout just to get up here, but man, they have no idea like how good it feels to actually be here on a bike. So, who gets to do what we do riding on a bike? Well, push. Yeah. All right, we’re going to the camping now. All right, now that we did the hill climb, we are going to do a race on the top of this mountain. There’s actually a race course up here of all things. So, this is the start and there’s the course out there. Uh, yeah, you get a manifest. Uh, you can only handle one manifest at a time. Do at least two jobs to manifest. I think it makes more sense to do more than two jobs. Also, we don’t have that many money fastest. So, if you always change How do you feel as the start time approaches? I don’t feel at all like Yeah. [Music] We left Fryberg this morning and uh this is a whole different world. I mean, we are way out in nature on the mountain top. I hadn’t done one of these group rides which is very rigorous for many years at least six years and um even in that time period a lot changed in terms of me knowing more about nutrition and getting better sleep and taking better care of myself. So yeah, I’m older but um I guess that’s offset by the fact that I know more now. I wish I’d known what I know now back when I was younger. I really don’t want to sweat today. Yeah, it’s impossible. Crazy climb, man. Yeah, but well the viewer. Yeah. Yeah, because the light stayed on. So, but now it [Applause] Just slow cookie. Sleeping accommodations here are crazy. Well, let me show you the best spot in the house, courtesy of Robert. Yeah, it’s messing up because I’m cleaning up my [ __ ] Yeah, well, we’re, you know, filmmakers, photographers, so Exactly. But you slept up here last night and separate from everyone else. Apartment. Quiet. In Japan, they would sell this as an apartment. Nice. Perfect. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Okay. I cannot use my big ring right now because we think that the cable’s shredded. So, me without a big ring doing anything to it. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It’s all slack. Should normally be turned. Yeah. It’s going to be down there somewhere, isn’t it? Oh, I can see it. I can see it. It’s almost there. It’s almost Oh my god. Oh, this is not too bad. Yeah. So, we’re limit screws adjusted so it’s on the big D on the big Yeah. But we don’t know if it’s quite enough to keep it there. Okay. Well, you know what? It might slip into this morning, but it’ll hopefully not. I mean, I’ve reached down. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve reached down the derailer and adjusted it myself. So, holy [ __ ] Thank you. This is just like [ __ ] three bike mechanics up here. Well, that that that’s a that Okay, that’s a sure sign to not have such a complicated bike. Well, it’s not that complicated. It’s just modern, you know, and it’s unfortunate that the cable snaps and it’s internal. These things can happen. Yeah, of course. Yeah. Heat. Heat. [Music] Got a babble and brook. How is this? Uh, cold. Good. But the mountain water. Oh, yeah. Mountain water. Like cramp cold. Yeah, that’s definitely cold. Cryotherapy. Perfect for Yeah, cryotherapy. Yeah, you’re right about that. Yeah, it’s true. True. Oh, man. Yeah, that’s a wonderful place. Oh, yeah. Amazing. Yeah, this is [Music] [Music] All right. So, right now we’re ordering some falafles for this next little stop. We are getting our water from the slowest like Chinese water torture fountain ever. Look how slow this is. You almost full. Almost. Very slow. It’s been 30 minutes now. It definitely is a hot day, but we are keeping hydrated. And we’re keeping electrolytes, too. Very important to not just hydrate, but also get electrolytes so that you retain the water and um energy. Anyway, we’re going to have some falafel pretty soon. All right, this is the best combination because we’re just going to be able to swim right behind this store in that amazing river that we were looking at earlier. Oh man, I love that current. Up for the challenge. [Music] All right, stopping for stopping for lunch right now is a really good idea. All right, done with lunch and um yeah, going to uh take a dip in the river. I’ve been waiting to go into this river, one of these rivers, for so long on these group rides, looking at the rivers, just like, oh, um, over there is Switzerland on the other side of the river and, um, we’re in Germany, so I’m not going to end up over there. [Music] There’s this whirlpool effect where this water is actually carrying me upstream. And then what I’m going to do is I’m going to take that downstream. You can see how rapid that’s going. But this is very cool. It’s just taking me upstream, the direction I want to be. That’s going fast. I can already feel the resistance. Holy [ __ ] Okay, I’m going for a [ __ ] ride right now. How fast we’re going. Woo! Oh man, we are going fast. This is nice. So, yeah, it’s it’s a quick jump in the middle and then these eddies take it back upstream. Oh, yeah. Yeah, the current’s taking you back. Nice upstream. Nice little trick. Learn as a lifeguard. Okay. You’re a lifeguard. Okay. Yeah. So, if you guys Okay, I’m coming. Of course, uh after lunch. That’s a little heavy, but that’s okay. That’s fun, man. Going to try a little We’ll do like a little lap. You were so fast. Yeah. So, so fast. Oh, it’s so much fun. I’ll do it again if anybody wants to. As you saw earlier, the cable to my front derailer broke, so I’m stuck in the big ring. Anyway, that delayed me. The reason that I met these guys is because of that little incident. A little pissed at myself because I didn’t have my mechanic change the cables. Um but whatever. Um that is the beauty of life is uh it’s 99% how you handle adversity. spot maybe. Oh, hell yeah. Hell yeah. Swinging spot. Okay, so these hill climbs are brutal and it’s late day. Everybody’s blood sugar is super low. This was the last one. Last one of the day. We at 1,000 of elevation now. 1,000 m. Not feet. Not feet. Any more hills? No, we got it. Recovery swim, sprint, sketch. Little elevation here though. I am not going to miss it. Climbing the descending. God damn, that’s been awesome. I mean, the descent is always worth it here in Switzerland. It is true what they say. A little bit tamer, shallower waters here, but this is really awesome. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Lawrence, props on the routing. Nice route. Thank you. Holy cow. Yeah, that’s one for the books. Rolly. Rolly. Hello. Did you ride here? Yeah, you’ve been with the group, right? Oh, heck yeah. Cool. All right, finally done with the ride. That was some crazy ass [ __ ] And um it was broken up by two swims today. Today was a lot easier. Anyway, uh I’m in line to register for housing as you can see there. And yeah, the line is they have some bikes and more bikes. That is amazing. Yeah. Thank you. Okay, so our bags were not dropped where we’re staying. Our bags are right there. This is the baggage room. And then um I’m going to take this bad boy over. I’m going to do it on the handlebars. And then I’m going to navigate with this little guy. Start. And so yeah, it’s pretty close. But um this is the first night that our bags have not been dropped where we’re staying. A little chaotic, but hey, handle it. Let’s do it. Well, I got about 50 lbs of weight in here. But it’s not about the weight. It’s all about the balance. And so this is how I transport big luggage. Okay, I got to put two hands back on this. This is where we’re staying tonight. Look at this place. It’s a miracle you’re still alive. This is where we are staying, man. How unique is this? And here’s the trains. So, we’re going to leave one of these doors open uh for fresh air. So, we have some cross ventilation right there and there. And yeah, I guess I’m just gonna put my stuff there. So, accommodate Alleycat sleeping accommodations, man. Best in the world. Best in the world. Who gets to stay at a place like this? Another awesome day. I did not think would turn out this way. It started off with a mechanical and what looked like a kind of a boring route, but it did not disappoint. The gnarly uphills and the crazy descents and going off track a couple times and swimming in the Ryan River, skinny dipping in the toss river. It’s actually called the toss river. Most people don’t realize how living bike life and the bicycle is the ultimate expression of freedom. [Music] Well, this is what is waking us up. And this is where I slept last night. So, anyways, happy Tuesday. All right, our bags are going to Zurich. And actually, some of these are bags from a ride that we actually merged with. So, there’s even more bags now. Yeah. Yeah. jump in. And so, welcome to the final leg of our trip, the group ride to Zurich. Oh, I’m going to miss everything here. All right, group ride speeds right now are about 8 miles per hour. And it’s definitely a chase and a lead, you know, for safety. So, and certainly more people will be involved if there’s chase in a lead and it’s slower speed. So, I respect that. But I got to jump cuz we’re going into Zurich. And I thought a group ride into Zurich meant a shred into Zurich. All right. Well, this has been real and fun, but let’s do this. This is strong. As drromes go, that is quite a drum. We have arrived and now need to find where the bags are and where we’re sleeping. Okay, behold our bags. The trip has ended. All right, this is where I’m going to set up camp right here. And this is all going to be full of riders competing in Cycle Messenger World Championship CMWC Zurich. Anyway, let’s get unpacked. Well, we’re here for the alleycat and it’s going to go off in a few minutes. But in the meantime, there’s some nice vintage footage Zurich um and also whole bunch of items. [Music] Do you like something like those checkpoints are not going to visit themselves? Get out there on the street. Start doing some of those colors. [Music] That was hell. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] That’s so funny. [Music] You found a duck. [ __ ] duck. Red duck. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Thanks. Oh, hell. Hell, dude. Hope it wasn’t too boring for you. Some parts, but most of it actually was pretty [ __ ] powerful. [ __ ] cannonball. Safety first. That’s right. How was the [ __ ] race? It was amazing. Incredible. First we cut the hair, then we joined him. Yeah. No race without a haircut. How was it for you? Oh, it was good. Tough climb after a group ride. Damn it. Yeah. Yeah, it was fun. There we go. Spicy sauce on there. Oh, they got the special spicy sauce. It’s some hot [ __ ] Uh, I hope not, but cuz I like mild. Don’t Yeah, I’m going to eat it. Oh, nice. Enjoy. Safety tip. If there’s rain, take the tunnel. [Music] All right. So, I just canceled the Uber and uh Yeah, the train station is right up here. So, walking distance. Yeah. All right. So, one last car. Public transit to the airport. Very best transit in the world, I guess. Switzerland. So, here we go. Switch connect. That’s right. This is our switch. Switch connect. Okay. This is the train station. Nice run. All right. Well, here’s my train to the airport. I mean, I’m happy we made it here, but I’m sad that we’re be leaving. That’s right. Oh, man. Can’t believe Oh. See you soon. Master music.

Dude, what an awesome travel report, loved every minute !!! Also it kinda got me melancholic, because I can't tour myself right now…right in the middle of summer 🙁 .
But how the fuck do I join your channel to be able to watch the uncut version? Can't find the button for membership.
