yes what is up peeps welcome back to another episode i hope you’re all doing well today I am in Bournemouth i’m online with Uber Eatats and Deliveroo i just got my first job in on Deliveroo paying £2.90 time has just gone 6:00 p.m and I’m going to be delivering tonight until about 9:00 hopefully you can hear me all right it is super super windy here i am on a different bike today i’m on the Fedo Air which is a full carbon ebike and I’m going to be doing a full review video on this bike very soon so keep an eye out for that very nice yeah I came here a few years ago for my son’s birthday but obviously I didn’t come here to deliver and I’ve always wanted to come back here because it’s such a nice such a nice place there’s a lot of restaurants there’s a lot of tourists that come here as well uh not only from abroad but I’d say people that live in major cities Manchester London Birmingham they all come here cuz it’s so so beautiful i’m out of breath already i ain’t even picked up the first order that hill took it out of me but yeah I think I’m going to be sticking to the um the town center because it’s so windy by the beach what’s it called indian Ocean oh there it is i can see it yeah I’ve got one of my uh it is my biggest thermal bag wait until you see the size of this thing it’s absolutely massive look at the size of this huge i have got a hydra sling inside as well but yeah let’s just run in and grab this one uh sorry it’s a 6360 yeah thank you let’s open up this bag get everything ready perfect thank you so much have a good evening yeah thank you all right first bye-bye thank you you’re welcome all right first one done let’s get back to the town center and go and get some more orders all right new orders in picking up from Natty’s Jerk in Bournemouth it’s only a 0.3 mile cycle there let’s go get it [Music] all right then there we go damn this place looks nice all right should I come in yeah hey then i’ve got uh you and Uber Eats yeah man what’s up man what are you doing down here delivering i’ve I’ve been there before two years ago but I’ve never delivered there so I was like “All right let me let me see what it’s like.” Yeah man yeah good to meet you bro yeah I promise thank you man thank you bro i’m just a delivery guy man is there one of these in Portsmouth as well yeah there is yeah yeah yeah yeah this is one of I thought I recognized the name yeah sorry for the way bro that’s okay a lot of food man you too man thank you [Music] take care so yeah I recognized the restaurant Natty’s from Pompy Bites i know they’ve got one in Portsmouth i was actually where do I know this name from all right this customer is 15 minutes away 2.2 mi it is a lot of food it’s a big order i didn’t realize how big this order was i thought it was going to be a a small order but it isn’t it’s far from small [Music] all right about to arrive at this customer’s address now only 1 minute away hello that is one bag i got two bags for you second bag is here yeah perfect bye-bye i can grab your door for you no worries all right that’s that one done going to head back down towards the town center or just towards the coast really towards the beach 13 minutes but I reckon I’ll get another order that comes in in the meantime it’s not as busy as I was expecting it to be i think I’m always going to compare it to like Brighton or Yeah I’m just going to compare it to Brighton because Brighton is so so busy and the map the zone for uh Bournemouth on Deliveroo is absolutely massive it’s huge i I don’t think I’ve seen a zone bigger than than this one it’s really really big i’ll overlay a picture of it now so you can see but yeah you don’t have to uh worry about changing zones or anything like that all right we’ve got another one there let’s have a look icelanding pool pool 2.2 mi away for pickup let’s go get it oh going the wrong way all right then yes should be on the stand okay perfect thank you oh yeah [Music] thank you cheers all right this customer 14 minutes 2.7 miles there’s another YouTuber here Delivery Unplugged Pavl I think his name is and uh he does a lot of content i think he lives in Bournemouth he’s also got a full-time job like me and uh yeah before I came down to Bournemouth today had a quick uh look through his recent videos oh I can’t use the pavement here there’s no pavement and um yeah same thing he gets really really far drops and he’s just using a normal bicycle he isn’t even using an an electric bike so yeah I feel for him he must be he must have some super strong legs wow from uh doing all those deliveries with no ebike i have done it when I first started doing deliveries I had a Bwin um normal hybrid bike and I remember how strong my legs got it was unreal i don’t go to the gym i’m very physically active anyway with my day job and just day-to-day life but uh yeah I remember when I was doing deliveries when I first started out in 2019 just before I got the Carrera Subway e ebike and started my channel I was doing deliveries on a normal bike and yeah it’s unreal how strong I got i don’t know if I’m allowed on this road it is it’s a cycle route on Google Maps so I’m assuming so a look at these roads it will be absolutely amazing to have a motorbike a proper 700 to I don’t know 1,000cc bike here on these roads oh man I would love it good one thank you yeah first time using it for uh delivering it’s very lightweight yeah yeah that’s amazing for the holidays yeah there’s quite a few thank you so much have a good evening all right let’s check in and see how much money I won so far i am back near the beach 8:02 and then on Oh god that is terrible £10.92 for the first hour £1092 i’ll let you you guys at home you guys and girls at home be the judge of that is that terrible is that acceptable on it i don’t know i don’t know the one comment I keep seeing on uh recent videos is get a better job or how do you even afford to live on those earnings it’s terrible d I have always said this job is designed to be a side hustle it isn’t designed to be a full-time income if you can make a full-time income from it then hats off to you like I applaud that you know that’s uh that’s dedication because you got to put a lot of hours in and you got to work really hard your social life goes out the window and yeah it’s it’s just very very hard work yes you’re just picking up and delivering from A to B but there’s a lot in between that you got the maintenance of the bike or whatever whatever vehicle you’re using you’ve got the costs of that bike as well it’s not just the cost of your rent or your insurance you’ve got the cost of maintenance and stuff like that i have a full-time job i just do this on my days off and when I am doing this job and I am making 30 quid here 40 quid here 50 quid there if you do that I don’t know six seven eight times 10 times a month on top of my salary I’m earning a decent amount of money just from delivering a loan so yeah I’ve always said that this is designed to be a side hustle and I will always stick by that because I wouldn’t want to give the wrong impressions to people to say “Oh yeah you can definitely do this job full-time and earn a living it’s going to be easy work.” Because it totally isn’t it’s the total opposite from that but yeah just thought I’d get that off my chest cuz it’s one comment I keep seeing on uh on the videos it may look easy you’re just picking up from point A and delivering to point B saying hello thank you goodbye but trust me if you haven’t done this job before and you think it’s easy go get a line bike sign up to Deliveroo or Uber Eatats or whatever and get out there and try and earn £50 where you live and you’ll see exactly how hard it is all right another job’s in £367 picking up from Five Guys the drop isn’t that far probably could get back on the road here there we go i feel like every seaside town has got a Five Guys i don’t think I’ve been to one that hasn’t got it yeah bike theft mustn’t be an issue here then because if this was London man all of these bikes would be gone even if there is a camera there surprised mustn’t be an issue here then wait for milkshake milkshake yeah nice thank you all right nice quick pick up there and I can see on here already the customer has given me a £4 tip before I’ve even arrived look at that absolutely wicked yeah close to this area because I just rode past a golf course it’s definitely around here that I stayed cuz I remember this the the type of houses that I stayed in it was like a It was an Airbnb that I stayed in really really nice i’ll bring you back when the next one’s in i’m a little bit like not that far from the main area of Bournemouth but maybe like a 10-minute cycle what the hell look at that how the hell has that happened check that out from here oh my god look at this wow what the hell that is crazy how has he managed i don’t know what way he’s come from to end up down there unless he was like trying to pull over or something i don’t know i’ve never You never really know it how how something like this happens all right there we go mcdonald’s got to do a Macky’s haven’t we oh it says here ensure your bag the inside of your bag is clean and free of spills from previous orders oh they’re quite uh on the ball here all right let’s get over to McDonald’s it’s only a It’s 2 minutes away yeah I was just uh riding on that path back there and there was another delivery driver rider sorry on an ebike and I said to him “Are most of your orders quite far away even on a bicycle account?” And he said “Yeah because people don’t a lot of people order outside of the city like the city center.” for everyone that lives in this area they just go out and eat you do get a few orders here and there but it’s not like uh all the time you know [Music] all right I got a BF6 Ubot b6f sorry thank you 1.2 miles away for this customer 9 minutes [Music] please call when I came down that’s okay this is it yes for Yasmin yeah perfect that’s all good thank you have a good evening 327 for that one not bad it’s a nice uh short drop let me switch on Deliveroo again all right back down at the beach front still online with Uber and Deliveroo let’s see how long it’s going to take for another order to come in all right little update peeps it’s 8:30 now 6 minutes away from the train station my train leaves at 8:59 this is uh it’s a fail it is i should have planned it a bit better i should have maybe tried to get my moped up here this is definitely a seaside town that you need a moped in to deliver on an ebike even if I have my other ebike with me and I’m not just finding excuses here so yeah I’m making my way to the station now and that’s the thing it goes back to what I was saying earlier on i don’t want to just always show the good shifts you know I’ve spent money to come down here i’m still online if another order comes in then obviously I’m going to accept it but if it doesn’t then uh the next shot will be of me getting on the train and heading home and I’ve still got a lot of battery left on the bike as well it’s not like I’ve completely ran out of battery i haven’t even gone onto the onto the range extenders still got a lot left but look riders just waiting around with no orders yeah epic fail sometimes it just don’t work out the way you want it to might
