[Applause] What’s up with your legs media? Thank you for joining us. What a stage today. Uno axe. That was amazing. Uh his name is Abra Hansen. We’re going to get into that, but I do feel sorry for the young man from Norway that finished second cuz they worked hard. Uh but anyway, before we get into that, make sure you hit the like button and if you haven’t subscribed to the channel as we get onto uh stage 11 of Le France and it was it was a doozy of a day. It’s incredible that the way that the day went. You had Yona you had uh Johansson Abra Hansen uh I believe that’s how you say his name. He went away early in the I mean from Clumber to zero him and I believe it’s Schmidt Mario Schmidt went away they got a gap and then they were joined later by a third rider I can’t remember his name but then they were just out there pretty much for the first half of the race just after the intermediate sprint after the intermediate sprint uh you had a few riders bridge up to them then Vanderpool Matthew Vanderpool I won’t Bernard who else was it Matthew Vanderpool vote and uh and uh I can’t remember who the other guys were. You always remember the superstars, but were in a chase group of six. A chase group of six were chasing a chase group of five. And the five just seemed to be working so much better. The gap was coming down, but it got down like it was at a minute, but then it went down quickly to 30. And it just stayed between 30 and 20 seconds and just sort of fluctuated between 30 and 20 seconds because it was like I believe Johansson was was was the power of the front group. And he he just had them boys ripped into shape just ripped into ripped just whipped into a frenzy and it was just dealing with the uh chase back. Like I said, if you watch my live preview, there was like a series of climbs. There was two categorized climb, two categorized climbs, but then there were three climbs that weren’t categorized before the the last two climbs. And the last climb in particular was short, but it was really steep. It was 800 800 uh 800 meters, just short of a kilometer, but it was really steep. 12% in some section. So on the last climb it was just uh Johansson because the second to last climb there was an attack and Johansson was able to get away with Schmidt and then on the on the second to last climb uh I believe uh Matthew Vanderpool and Walnut tried an attack but it didn’t work. It all stayed together. But then on the last climb, Natthew Vanderport near the top of the climb put in a devastating attack. Got away from everybody. And then he was chasing down Mario Schmidt and um Abraham Yunas Abrahamson was chasing those two down. And when they went over the top of the the last climb, it was about I believe like eight eight kilometers 8 9 to 8 km from the finish. And Matthew Vanderpool actually got it down to eight seconds and he had him in the sight. And then everybody was thinking, all I can think back was Mstyle Girl, that first race of Mstyle Go where Matthew was in a group that chased back the guys that were in the breakaway, caught the breakaway and out sprinted them and it was like, is this going to happen again? And this is so it’s it’s crazy where Matthew Vanipil went in the breakaway uh just a couple days ago and got within 750 meters of winning the stage and today he didn’t go in the breakaway but helped chase down the breakaway and got within 750 meters shy of just winning the like just just missing catching the group. had he caught them. He he I don’t know if he would have been able to out sprint them because everybody was toast, but it was a a fantastic effort and it was just good to see. Now the other big story of the day is taga got taken down by owner ax rider and they were you know they had just broken away on the climb. Uh Johannes uh Ving Yonis Vingard, he attacked on the last climb. Remco followed Kogi followed. Well, he followed seated basically. And when he did, yeah, he just basically closed the gap. It was no big deal. They were all riding and uh you know working really hard to try and stay away from the main group or the group that was chasing and after the they got separated going over the climb and they were attacking one another trying to get little bits of time on one another you know just get move up a place here and there and Kevin Vanquin was the one who b who initiated the big attack on the last climb and then everyone like and that that’s just where the group because the group was still together group was still big but when put in that big attack it was that was pretty prepared to, you know, everyone, you know, coming in as a group, but was getting to was a big moment where they were just riding straight. Someone attacked on the right, made a hard attack on the right. Everyone was looking straight. T had his one hand off the bar because like he’s like, you know, no big deal. And then the Uno Ashraider basically was so desperate to get to who was attacking and didn’t want to let it get away. He just went and just cut a patcha up. I mean, he just literally just took a paga out. It wasn’t even like Patcha made a mistake and over overlapped, wasn’t paying attention. He just lit I don’t care who it was, who you were. If this ride had done this to you, you you were going down. And basically, he took down Pagotaa. Well, when he got up, you could see he was visibly pissed. Like he he you could look like he he he he obviously said a few words on his breath and he was really pissed. But hat goes off to the Shimano guy who literally jumped off his moto ran to Bagotaa, got that chain back on quickly and he was so quick that the group that was about I think 10 or 15 seconds, maybe 30 seconds behind, he was able to get the chain back on for Pogy really quickly and get him on his bike and then he was able to join that group which had a couple teammates in it and dragged him back to the uh the uh the guy the group that he was in. But here’s the thing. All the big players were in that group that Pacho went down. You had Meio Yoges. Yeah. Yas Vingard obviously Remco Corbin people. Kevin Winklin. Uh all of the all of the all the the main sorry all of the main contenders. But I believe someone said Ben Healey basically shut said shut it down. And uh you can’t we can’t be we can’t be like you know taking advantage of the the world champion because uh that just wasn’t fair like it it wasn’t like he made a mistake or something. He you know he just got taken up. So and then the crazy thing was early in the day there was some disrespect shown because Tagucha went for nature. Usually when the world champion or the yellow jersey stops, you know, the race will neutralize and then they, you know, carry on and you you never attack the the uh world champions jersey or even the lead of the yellow jersey and and I remember Abra funny Yonas uh Jonas Abrahamson who won today he got a talking to an airphone from Cavendish last year because he attacked while guys were going to the bathroom And you had I believe it was Ella Phipe. Uh I think I think it was Ella Phipe. It might have been someone else. But I definitely remember Cavendish going up to him hands out what you know in his ear like in the sheling like you know you you don’t do that. And it’s crazy that this on that this this day that they did the same thing but Abrahamson wasn’t a part of that. He was this he had nothing to do with that cuz he was up the road. So, and it’s crazy that they did that today, but they had no one in the group that went up and spoke to the guys and then spoke like that. That’s not cool. That was annoying. So, there was some unsportsmanlike conduct early in the race, but then it sort of like writed itself late in the race. When T went down, I was pissed. I was pissed out like what? And when I saw how he went down and that he was taken down, that he just didn’t just go down because maybe a flat tire or something, how he was taken down, I was annoyed. But the other thing to the owner act rider that took him down actually looked back and put his hand up like you know to apologize I guess as to say sorry. So he probably had a word with Healey and Healey because he’s wearing the yellow jersey everybody say, “Yo, we we can’t race on because um you know you know the man was taken down you know you you don’t want to win win a race like that and someone made a good point that like say uh whoever Jonas or Ramco they won by 15 seconds and the their whole their whole like interview process and you know history will go down. you only won because like had uh you know that fifth you know that had not happened you you probably would not have won. So you know obviously riders think of that and this is not the first time happened. Jonas waited for Tade when they were coming down at descent and they were riding hard and they knew they couldn’t be separated and this was the year that uh Yonas won and uh Jonas you know he was going to win but he waited for TA and like it’s it’s some some sometimes it’s just good to see that we do have some humanity in us and we can exhibit some form of sportsmanship. So that’s how today went. It was a really good day. Uh name is Yianis A Hansen from Owner X Mobility and from G team Jacob Ola, Mario Schmidt finished second and um uh Matthew Vanderpool from Elvis in the credit finish a further seven seconds back and uh yeah that was a cracker of a stage and we look forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be even harder. So you got Otto Cam. They’re finishing Otto Cam tomorrow. That’s like the like the big mountain start tomorrow. And uh we will see if Healey is 29 seconds ahead of Batcha. If Healey is able to hold on to that yellow jersey tomorrow because I’m pretty sure that Bisma is going to be riding hard and if Visma is riding hard. Uh I think just the the pace that Bisma puts on is probably going to put Healey in trouble. let alone when Paul got decides to to go and do his thing. But it’s going to be a long day tomorrow and Healey just sort of was chilling today. Uh he show he’s showing that he can climb. So I think he will be like there for the first and maybe second climbs, but I think when they put in them big attacks on the last climb, that’s going to be the thing to see if Hely can hang in for that. Anyway, until tomorrow, I’ll see you live tomorrow after the presentation or maybe during the presentation and we can uh talk about like some of the stuff that like whatever news that I find online. Make sure you check out the video I just posted. It should be right here. The video I just posted, pro cycling stats. Seems like they’re getting bullied by the ASO and stuff. But anyway, check out the video. Really interesting. Uh it’s it’s not cool what’s going on. But anyway, see you tomorrow.
