[Music] heat heat [Music] what is up everyone welcome back to another travel vlog from Germany this time we are in English and we are going to walk all around the city i will show you everything you can see here in one day we are also going to visit this famous Englisht village which is this outdoor outlet place and you can shop there many brands if you have any questions drop your comment below and you know have fun watching as I promised the first place we are visiting and I want to show you is English village which is just an hour from Munich and you know it is this luxury shopping uh destination and I bet dream for fashion lovers it has over 100 designer boutiques offering discounts up to 60% and you know it is perfect place to just stroll around and you know shop a little bit the weather this morning was sunny and just perfect i stopped by Nike and got this whole bag full of socks because there was literally 50% off and that’s worth it you can find in the village also some coffee places and restaurants i was in love with this design at Cafe Lad i feel like English village isn’t just about shopping it’s an experience so even if we didn’t shop much it was pretty nice to walk around after that we were heading to the city center and I will show you where you can park because it can be struggle there is a huge parking spot by the Tashen Tour also known as the pocket gate you can park there for about €5 per day you also find there this map of the city pocket Gate is a historic tower that was once part of English’s medieval city fortifications built in 1390 during a city expansions it is the tallest gate in the city wall standing five stories high the tower’s name likely comes from the roof pockets of its gabled roof as you can see we were also getting some pastry pretzel and I don’t know how it’s called the other one but it was pretty good following the street you can see this beautiful yellow building it is the German museum of medicine history an 18th century pharmacy and a medicine herb garden offering a unique glimpse into medical history another historic symbol of the city’s medieval past is the cross gate or croto store in German it is one of the English’s most well preserved medieval city gates built in 1385 it served as the main western entrance to the city the gate features a striking Gothic brick design with the seven towers and pointed archways making it one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks originally part of English’s defensive system it once protected the city from invaders while strolling around the streets you cannot not see the minster of our dear lady which is one of the largest Goautic churches in Bavaria built in the 15th century it impresses with its 72 m long nave and up to 30 m high walted ceilings creating a grand and spacious interior the church features massive brick walls in cricket stained glass windows and a magnificent high altar reflecting its historical and architectural significance originally a colligier church it played an important role in English’s religious and academic history today it stands as a masterpiece of late medieval architecture and a key landmark in the city the high altar is a masterpiece of Baroque craftsmanship created in the 17th century it features an ornate gilded design with the increate sculptures and religious paintings at its center is a large depiction of the Virgin Mary honoring the church dedication to our dear lady the altar’s grand door combined with the towering Gothic architecture creates a striking focal point making it one of the most impressive altars in Bavaria the church remains an active place of worship with the regular masses and religious services it is also open to the public for guided tours the church often hosts concerts and classical music performances thanks to its excellent acoustics few streets away you will find St matthew’s Church which is the city’s oldest Protestant church built in 1845 in negotic style it features a single tower and a modernized interior today it serves as an active place of worship and community events for the evangelical Lutheran congregation our next stop is Newcastle which is splendid 15th century Gothic structure and nowadays you will find there the Bavarian Army Museum which is one of the Europe’s significant military history museums the museum’s primary exhibition forms of war 1600 until 1815 showcases an extensive collection of artifacts including weapons armor uniforms and flags illustrating the evolution of warfare during that period notable highlights include the grand visitor’s tent a unique piece reflecting the Ottoman influence in European military history and the treasures chamber housing rare items such as a 16th century conquisitor’s attire in addition to the main exhibits the museum offers insights into Bavaria’s military past within a European context emphasizing the culture and historical significance of its collections visitors can explore the museum’s diverse displays gaining a comprehensive understanding of the region’s martial heritage the streets are taking us to the Duke’s Chest Castle which you will find right by the marketplace it is one of the oldest secular buildings in the city originally built in the 13th century today it houses the city library and remains a striking symbol of English’s past we were getting there also some coffee some drinks not far away from the marketplace you will find the old town hall Artist Strrad House which dates back to the 14th century and originally comprised four separate buildings between 1882 and 1884 architect Gabrielle Fonidel unified and redesigned them into the Neo Renaissance style despite the construction of a new town hall in 1960 the old town hall remains the office of English’s mayor and houses the tourist information center behind the old town hall you will find St morit’s church which is the Englisht’s oldest Paris church with the origins tracking back to the 9th century the current structure a three style cotic basilica with the romanesque elements was first documented in 1234 for dinner we went to Toyako Sushi and Grill which is Japanese all you can eat restaurant you order there through these tablets everything you want and you literally eat until you cannot even walk the place was pretty nice the reviews were great 4.5 stars and over,366 reviews but I must say we didn’t really like the quality of the food we were a little bit disappointed the food didn’t really taste that great adam were served freezing cold so keep that in mind all
