I’m making this post because I would have loved to know this info so I didn’t destroy my derailleur.
The chain guide Commencal uses on their Supreme DH v5 is able to open to remove the chain. Overtime, the guide just pops open even on small hits. This happened to me at snowshoe and it ended up destroying my derailleur and chain. My chain came off and got caught in the cassette and destroyed everything. I was also at the DH southeast race at snowshoe. I asked the team tents with the v5 and asked for a solution. The answer the gave me was literally to bolt it shut with a self taping screw. From one of the mechanics, they said Commencal recommended this too. I hope this helps someone where it would of helped me
