It’s probably not a good idea to take these apart, is it?

I’m sorry as I’m not super familiar with center pull brakes. I was planning on disassembling these and polishing them. From what I’ve seen, normally these brakes have long spring tags so you can leverage the spring back in. These don’t. Is these a trick to these, or best just to leave alone? Any words I’d appreciate.
