AVIGNON, France -a Medieval Gem 4K Travel Walk

Hello friends! Today we are in the historic city of Avignon. Avignon is located in the Provence region in the southeast of France. The city is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the center of Avignon, including the Palais des Papes, Notre-Dame des Doms cathedral, and the Pont d’Avignon. It was once the seat of the Papacy in the 14th century and the economic and cultural boom at that time shaped much of what the city still looks today. Today, the old city center is famous for its architectural, cultural heritage, cuisine and theater festival.
