Wahoo Speedplay Shoe & Cleat Protector.
I have recently fitted a wahoo Speedplay shoe and cleat shield kit. This kit helps prevent damage to the carbon soles of your cycling shoes and prevents dirt from clogging up the cleat fixings etc. And if you do use the Speedplay system I highly recommend this product. As part of my testing I decided to have a ride to the beautiful Finlake holiday park and spar located near Chudleigh. I cycle around the park and admire there very impressive accommodation, some of which is located in woodland. I also have a look a the swimming pools and leisure activities available.
My observations are the subject of this ride. So come along and enjoy another great cycling adventure.

here hi guys welcome back and thanks again for joining me my ride today can I just say a big big thank you to all my new subscribers who have recently joined us on the channel uh thank you very much for coming along guys and girls yeah I must admit it’s been 20 days guys 20 days since I’ve been on a bike oh I can’t believe it i have missed cycling so so much yeah I’ve been really really busy so uh yeah today was my uh first opportunity to get out and look at that sky there look look at that guys ain’t that beautiful yeah so today I’ve installed some speed play shoe and cleat protector nice little metal plate i’ll show you guys i’m just up at holding at the moment so I’ll show you what I’ve done love these trails i haven’t got my gravel wheels on today oh yes so this is the uh Wahoo shoe and cleat protector stops all the dirt from getting in and around those bolts and uh well if you ride with these uh cleats you know how dirty it gets under there guys and uh this is going to help it out tremendously so um how about that yeah I’m really really pleased with that um so uh yeah this is going to um make it really easy to clean and hopefully make it easier to clip in and out so a win-win i’m going to fill my uh fill my water bottle up cuz it’s quite a warm day today yep so I’m leaving Holder now nice little break just Just basically popped in there to uh fill my water bottle up it’s really handy on days like this there’s such a lot of climbing to do just to get here to be fair yeah right guys let’s carry on with the ride and let’s go and see if we see anything else interesting on today’s ride yeah well with it being 20 days and this being a a 40 45 mile route you do start to uh doubt your ability don’t you being off the bike for so long but I must admit as soon as you uh soon as you start your ride you’re away it’s like you’ve never been off it yeah so I’ve left just left Holden and I’m making my way down towards Chudley a little village of Chudley and I think we’ll have a little look up around the holiday park down there [Applause] [Music] yeah so the campsite I want to look at is at the bottom of this hill [Applause] and there it is fin lake [Applause] yeah a bit of a windy road up here i’ve been this way before this should be quite interesting for me i don’t know if I can get in if it’s manned with a gate on it i have no idea but we’ll give it a go guys that was a big hill to climb welcome to Fin Lake Resort and Spa how cool are these cabins guys that’s lovely zero idea where I’m going that looks really inviting on a day like this beautiful place guys isn’t it oh I could hop right in there now guys i am so so warm there’s the bike and to pump those tires up and oil that chain before I come out oh yeah she’s happy yes let’s carry on looking around this beautiful campsite [Music] [Music] see they got another uh massive indoor swimming pool over there wow absolutely loving these lodges they got on a right old nosy trip today aren’t we don’t know where I’m going fine yeah apparently there’s a outdoor activities down this way i really have no idea where I am where I’m going i’m going to go this way cuz I do think this one goes right on a little loop [Music] and I’m a nurse Sail over there guys [Music] [Music] heat [Music] heat [Music] [Music] yeah very nice some of those uh vans down there aren’t they yeah very very very nice resort yeah they got everything here um a little bar um obviously a couple of swimming pools indoor outdoor pool lots of activities to do that’s what I’ve seen so far [Music] [Music] this way to the tennis courts apparently [Music] [Applause] they said they seem to have the activities that they got up here spread everywhere which is nice let’s come up that way let’s go this way [Music] [Music] i can’t ride it all guys but I can show you it all massive massive site looks like they’re fishing lakes there huge beautiful place leave all these uh lucky people to their lovely holiday with this beautiful weather yeah so I’m leaving Fin Lake um spa resort now what a beautiful place guys it really was a beautiful place right I’m going to make my way up the team valley now on my way home [Applause] there’s a team valley there he stopped there so he’s on his phone he is unbelievable at the places they stop [Applause] just put your phone away when you’re in the car [Applause] oh what a beautiful day guys an absolute beautiful day been longing for days like this i really have lovely and warm oh I am tired i must admit oh that sounded nice didn’t it this is a tiny tiny little graveyard just off the uh team valley ridden past this thousands of times never stopped to have a look paid my respects all right that was the end of the team valley [Music] yeah I’m nearly on there now guys i just thought I’d stop on this bench and have a quick look at this uh this shoe and cleat protector that I installed before the ride so let’s go and see how it’s beared up for the first trip i thought I’d take the left shoe off um because this is the one I’ve been unclipping the most but I’m well pleased with that absolutely well well pleased with that that’s going to save a lot of cleaning and I’ve been clipping in and out lovely today no problems i don’t generally to be fair right that’s it from me for today’s ride guys i hope you enjoyed that one but if you did
