This is the second part of our holiday trip to Vilnius, capital of beautiful Lithuania.
Today, we got out for an early start, cause the day was packed with exploring activities. We had to check out of our hotel the next day and got our flight booked in the evening. So we had to make the most out of it and planned the last activitys by food before heading to the airport one day later. So, we went out around half past six in the morning and did a solid 60km cycleround in different loops on both sides of the River Neris. We found some great residential areas, actually quite a lot of parks and green spaces, the Stadium and even made a few new friends on the way.
Vilnius isn’t that big of a city with around 550.000 residents.
But it has an amazing charme and communal feeling, and if you are looking for a long weekend trip, we highly recommend it! Or consider doing the triple hop over Tallin-Riga-Vilnius.
