Copped for $1499 US.

Wear level was “slight signs of use”, which I felt was accurate.

*didn’t have any obvious signs of damage
*light scuffs on the chainring and seat post that matched the pictures online
*slightly greasy chain
*small 1cm tear on the bar tape that wasn’t shown in pictures
*derailleurs needed to be indexed, chain tension adjusted, and brakes adjusted. I could not shift through all the gears and the chain was really loud since it was bumping up against the next gear. It was unusable out of the box which surprised me.

Customer Service:
*was approved for up to $200 in labor charges (after following up on their online chat)
*for the bar tape dmg I could either pick out a bar tape and have REI install it or have Canyon ship it to me for REI to install. I chose to have to sent to me as a spare since the tear wasn’t too bad.
*REI took 6 days to complete the warranty work and they billed Canyon directly.

Minor complaint, but REI wasn’t able to adjust the rear brake lever actuation point even after complaining. There’s only about an index finger of space when pulling the lever. They did not flush the brake fluid. Should I go back to request this?

Overall, I’m happy I got a good deal on the bike. The customer service experience has been decent. Just annoyed that it wasn’t ready to go out of the box! Super happy with the bike’s performance otherwise. Coming from a 2019 Giant Defy Advanced 3, this feels so QUICK
