Good morning. Or was it afternoon? Afternoon. Uh, welcome back to my channel. Uh going for a bike ride today. Um head to Newcastle from Washington. Um it’s a lovely day. Like it’s glorious. Um must be about 25° or so. And the S’s always cold up north. Um I’m out in the ebike today. My music on. I’m using actually something a new Bluetooth device to listen to music on. um glasses. Uh I got them from T-Mu for seven quid and uh I’m just trying out for the first time. See what they’re like. But uh I’m only a mile in but so far so good. Looking really good. Pretty loud actually. So I don’t know if you can hear them like from here. I think you want to see me ears. But anyway, I’m heading to Newcastle St. James’s Park actually. Go I got to go there for something. So I So I thought I’d just bring you along with us. If you if I haven’t done any content for ages, uh just haven’t bothered. But I’ve moved all me I’m not using me other channel any main channel anymore. Uh which is Steven Outdoors I think it was called. I’ve changed it to NUFC and music. And uh I think this I’ve renamed this channel to exploring outdoors because everything I do outdoors is going to be on this channel and nothing else. All right. Uh yeah. So yeah, let’s do this bike ride. It shouldn’t take long. Ebike’s been damaged. Some some idiot at work decided to crash into it. I don’t know whether it’s been done intentionally or or what, but uh the battery was hanging off. I’ll show a picture. show what it was like. Uh, yeah, it’s ridiculous. I bought the CCTV cameras. Um, but whether the point the bike I don’t know. Anyway, I best get move on. Uh, let’s I’m heading towards here with Metro and down Felon bypass Gates Stadium and over the time bridge. Right, I’ll bring you back in a bit. Here’s SC. I nearly drove to Newcastle. Thank god I didn’t. Kind of busy like uh anyway, I’m near here with Metro now. I’m only about a couple hundred yards away from it. Uh yeah, drove as in I’m just getting a new car. I if you can hear us like on this. I’ll just get the new car. I’ll show it off later. It’s a box rever like I need to balance here like here with metro. It’s extremely busy. Made the ch right choice not cutting the car. Definitely. We’re just heading down here now. It’ll be able to see on camera, but I’ll just get the first shot of Sus Park. Right, let’s go. [Applause] KFC. I think they’re playing Sun today. If I remember right, I think Shu. Oh my good. [Applause] I just had a two-minute break. Um I’m just I’m near the keyside now. Newcastle keyside. So yeah, I’m just show show you the damage I have in my bike uh to go on. This is what happened. See that? The little box is open there. I need to take the whole thing off and then just try and put in place. At the moment, I’ve got I’ve got a cable tied on and it’s going to fall. And this one, the whole thing was off. It was like that was back there. So, the screw wouldn’t go back in. So, what I’ve done there is again I’ve cable tied. I’ve cable tied. It’s all in place now. So yeah, bike’s just falling apart. So a slow puncture. I’ll look for it. Can’t find it. But it’s a very slow puncture. It’ll get us to do this bike ride easy. No problem. Um I’ve got me pump with us. But uh it should be all right. It’s it’s solid now. Like it’s it’s fine. I’ve done a whole shift before and I’ve been able to ride home 8 hour shift. But yeah, it’s hanging in there. this bike. But yeah, yeah, it’s almost at the keyside now. Um go over the time bridge and up Pilgrim Street, I think. Straight up towards I was going to go past Northland Street, but I’ll see. Might go towards the the central station. It’s been busy today. Uh yeah, like I said um before if you heard us, uh I’ve managed to get a new car. I’ve had loads of problem with the last car hive sit around Picasso. I’ve gone and bought myself a um a Voliva. Uh lovely little car. It’s spot on. I bought it from Bllythe. Bit of help from me brother, Peter. So, thank you very very much, Peter. Uh drove it home no problem. Uh insurance is the same as the last one actually. And the road tax is just the same as well. So, just paying the same price really. It’s all right. I get out with it. Had a little look at it this morning. It’s um it’s a good size car camp like if I do fancy doing that. We’ll see. But uh should we should be doing something today to be honest. Like we’ll see. Anyway, got these glasses I’ve got on Bluetooth. Absolutely brilliant. There someone shout. Uh the speakers are right by your ear and it’s pretty loud as well. So 7 quid from Teeu. Right. I’m going to crack on. It’s lovely day today. M blue skies everywhere. Perfect. Right. Haven’t got to go out to St. Jers Park. Let’s get moving. Bring you back shortly. Glass house music hall. Been there once for Jack Savi and it’s a really amazing place like the sounds just sound absolutely brilliant. Heading towards the time bridge now just around the corner you see there. There it is. There go this little bend and turn right. Very busy today like Newcastle. You see myself in the mirror there. That’s ush. [Applause] See better that way. Heading that way. Bridge is being restored to its former glory for time like perfect. Heat. Heat. Got it. Okay. And Liz’s part now. It’s where the new stadium could possibly go. St. James’s Park. Newcast United. Sorry. How do you know what’s going on over there? E. Music blaring. There’s the thumbnail. Oh, I’ve done about 8 miles. Um, have a look. I don’t know if you can say that. 7.8 miles. Not bad. The music on. Sean’s playing and me glasses. They’re kind of cool these. Oh god. Right. Going to head into St. Jesus part now. Um and then ride home. Might go a little a different way back. Do like a circular. So I’ll bring you back shortly. But this I know ebikes dead easy this ride. Like dead easy. So let’s go this park. This land here actually where I’m standing, this area here is where they want to put the new stadium. Yeah, actually there I’m standing at now. It’s where they want to put the new stadium. As long as it makes a successful in West town where they’ve just come completely backwards, um I’m all for it cuz as much as I love St. James Park, there’s not really much room to build. So yeah, I’m on 37% battery at the moment. The the the GoPro hasn’t died cuz um when I’m on bike riding it completely shuts off now and again. I don’t know what’s going on with it. So far so good. I got me charger with this bike. So far so good. Anyway, but anyway, Le’s Park straight down there to Bark Road. Turn left and then into St. James’s Park. I got to go into the building. Yes, let’s do let’s go. Adrian Tower, the tallest building in Newcastle. St. James Boulevard now heading towards the Viff bridge just along here. Newcastle Arena just there. last early this year said the Harlem Globe Trotters. Uh new apartments, offices, whatever students as well going up there. What a beautiful day it is today. Right. [Applause] Just short of 11 miles. Uh I’ve stopped for 5 minutes. Just have a little bit of a drinks break. It’s boiling here like um I forgot my keys. I need to change me battery as well. So, it looks like it’s going to be a slo home. I only got 5 miles to go. So, it’s not too bad. It’s all flat. Uh it’s a good way to end the video as well cuz I’m going exact the same route back. There’s no point showing the same route back. Um anyway, Andrew’s promised to buy us a drink when we get back. Happy days. Be your time. Yes. It’s dropped a bit. Um, I probably will need a new one eventually. Well, I will I do need one eventually with a car. I’ll stick it in the boot and I’ll I’ll go places, go different places for bike rides and not that. So, yeah. Oh, also, um, I’ll do a little small review here. This here, this light solar power, I bought it from Teamu as well. It’s not solar. It says solar power, but it’s not. Doesn’t work. Plug it in and charge it the usual way. So yeah, just continue with me music and that currently got the Verve on. Brilliant. So yeah, that was uh Hugh Metro, St. James’s Park, Leisa’s Park and all that.
