Located on the old Viseu Branch Line (former Dão Line) and opened in July 2011, this Ecopista, which crosses the municipalities of Santa Comba Dão, Tondela and Viseu, is located on the banks of the Dão River and the Pavia River, where part of the route follows the curves of the rivers, always surrounded by a natural landscape composed of cork oaks, chestnut trees, oaks, vineyards and cultivated fields with views over the Caramulo and Estrela mountains.
This route is about 50Km. If you start from Santa Comba Dão you’ll face an elevation gain of around 500m.
