This stage ran from Amian to Ruan, covering approximately 174 km through the beautiful northern Normandy region. The route featured rolling terrain, narrow roads, and several climbs, making it a challenging stage for all the riders. The uphill finish in Ruan added to the excitement and difficulty of the race. Ruen’s selection as a stage finish city is due to its historic significance and the varied terrain that makes for dynamic racing. This city last hosted a Tor D France stage finish in 2012.
