Last kilometres of the fifth and final stage of the 2025 Tour of Austria, the 74th edition of the short Austrian stage race (5 stages), are upon us. This year, a truly impressive lineup is lining up, with seven WorldTour teams present, including names such as Del Toro, Majka, Covi, Ryan,

And after a long day in the saddle and Bob Young is trying to attack and go solo here. Yeah, that’s a bold move. We’ve seen an incredible win by Felix Khatna on the first stage. We have seen some outstanding performancees by all the athletes especially the strong Austrian continental teams. We have seen a stage win from Isaac De Toro on the second stage, the third stage, and yesterday at the Queen stage with more than 3,500 m in elevation gain. And today, we’ve seen a completely new game here at the last stage with Papos from Anas Grenaders like really setting the tone here with more than a 110k breakaway here. At that stage, we’ve also got here nearly 3,500 meters in elevation gain with an ORS category with a category one. Everything was in it. And with that view to the city of Fel K, we will see soon. Yeah. And we also had a big fight at the beginning of the day for the KM jersey. Um, and we also had three world tour riders in the fourman breakaway today. and also Ricardo Toy who did an incredible ride and he actually almost made it back to the front of the race. Unfortunately just missed it at the bottom of the descent but here we have Bob Yong coming for the last 6 km. Yeah, quite an incredible ride. Nicholas Vino of securing him the KOM jersey with a points lead towards Immanuel Sangal from team Foralberg. He lost it yesterday at this Queen stage and he was up for getting it back today. It would be a nice story to see him in the jersey after great effort e effort he put in the whole tour. But that effort we are seeing right now is completely dedicated to Pop Yung for an incredible solo. 2 minutes 18. So we are in the last five kilometers. Yep. Last 5 km now of the race and I also can’t really see much happening behind with the GC. So also looks good for Deto for taking the GC. Yep. In the tour of Austria, but we’re not at the finish yet. Bob Jungles from Ias Grenaders just made history while winning that fifth and last stage of the tour of Austria of the 74th tour of Austria. It is the longest solo breakaway we have seen in history at the Tour of Austria. More than 110k in the breakaway and more than 50k 40k solo ride for Bob Jung. Heads start to an incredible show from him. That was amazing. Amazing show. Brilliant ride. And now obviously we’ve got Isakto come into the finish line. He’s going to take the win. the G’s general classification of the tour of Austria. But yeah, just incredible ride just in but they are up for something more here. Yep, that is going to be a sprint.
